In this paper, we show the robustness of a proposed system using both a frequency diversity and a time diversity effect when the channel assumptions are relaxed such that all sub-bands are not independent fading. We take time-repetition coding with interleaving such that the repetition code symbols are spaced sufficiently far apart to guarantee time diversity. We also incorporate offset multicarriers into a proposed multicarrier DS-CDMA system in a different way compared to that of [10] to reduce the total multiple access interference. When we take a convolutional encoder instead of a time-repetition encoder, and again use both time diversity and frequency offset, then we can obtain the significant performance gain.

A new SCEE(Syndrome Check Error Estimation) decoding method for convolutional code and concatenated SCEE/RS (Reed-Solomon) conding scheme are proposed. First, we describe the operation of the decoding steps in the proposed algorithm. Then deterministic values on the decoding operation are drived when some combination of predecoder-reencoder is used. Computer simulation results show that the compuatational complexity of the proposed SCEE decoder is significantly reduced compared to that of conventional Viterbi-decoder without degratation of the $P_{e}$ performance. Also, the concatenated SCEE/RS decoder has almost the same complexity of a RS decoder and its coding gain is higher than that of soft decision Viterbi or RS decoder respectively.

This paper introduces the coded cooperation protocol in wireless relay network. We propose a two relay based coded cooperation protocol with RCPC codes for wireless networks. The proposed two-relay based system can achieve a diversity of order 4 under slow fading environment. Under fast fading, the diversity order is 2 times of the free distance of the convolutional code. We develop upper bounds on BER and FER for the system under both slow and fast fading with Rayleigh distribution. The effect of various channel conditions on the cooperation is also examined in this work.
In this paper, a new multi carrier, direct sequence code division multiple access (MC-DS-CDMA) system is proposed. Our new signal construction is based on convolutional encoding of the transmitted data, serial-to-parallel (S/P) conversion of the encoded data, Walsh-Hadamard-transformation (WHT), a second S/P conversion of the WHT outputs, spread spectrum (SS) modulation with a common pseudo-noise (PN) sequence, and then multicarrier transmission. The system bit error rate (BER) performance in frequency selective fading channel in the presence of additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and a jamming tone is analyzed and simulated. The numerical results are compared with those from an orthogonal MC-DS-CDMA system of Sourour and Nakagawa [7]. It is shown that the two systems have almost the same BER performance, but the proposed scheme has better anti-jamming ability.

This paper is about the implementation of the OFDM-based border guard/reconnaissance communication terminal systems. We have implemented Real-time Dynamic DL/UL symbol rate control function using the DL-MAP message, and proposed error detection method caused by malfunctioning and timing optimization method. The proposed scheme detects the variable rate symbol decoding timing without increasing additional physical layer logic, and also provides a wide variety of DL/UL data transfer rate. Furthermore, the proposed scheme applies to the current border guard/reconnaissance equipment and confirms a operation performance through field tests and demonstration at home and abroad.

This paper investigates the application of multi-agent deep reinforcement learning in the fighting game Samurai Shodown using Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) and Advantage Actor-Critic (A2C) algorithms. Initially, agents are trained separately for 200,000 timesteps using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) with LSTM networks. PPO demonstrates superior performance early on with stable policy updates, while A2C shows better adaptation and higher rewards over extended training periods, culminating in A2C outperforming PPO after 1,000,000 timesteps. These findings highlight PPO's effectiveness for short-term training and A2C's advantages in long-term learning scenarios, emphasizing the importance of algorithm selection based on training duration and task complexity. The code can be found in this link https://github.com/Lexer04/Samurai-Shodown-with-Reinforcement-Learning-PPO.

In this paper, a VLSI design of the convolutional codec chip of code rate r=l/3, and constraint length K=9 is presented, which is able to correct errors of the received data when transmitted data is corrupted in channels. The circuit design mainly aimed for simple implementation. In the decoder, Viterbi algorithm with 3-bit soft-decision is employed. For information sequence updating and storage, the register exchange method is employed, where the register length is 5$\times$K(45 stages). The codec chip is designed using VHDL language and Design Analyzer and VHDL Simulator of Synopsys are used for simulation and synthesis. The chip is composed of ENCODER block, ALIGN block, BMC block, ACS block, SEL_MIN block and REG_EXCH block. The operation of the codec chip is verified though the logic simulations, where several error conditions are assumed. As a result of the timing simulation after synthesis, the decoding speed of 325.5Kbps is achieved, and 6,894 gates is used.

PowerShell is command line shell and scripting language, built on the .NET framework, and it has several advantages as an attack tool, including built-in support for Windows, easy code concealment and persistence, and various pen-test frameworks. Accordingly, malwares using PowerShell are increasing rapidly, however, there is a limit to cope with the conventional malware detection technique. In this paper, we propose an improved monitoring method to observe commands executed in the PowerShell and a deep learning based malware classification model that extract features from commands using Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) and send them to Recurrent Neural Network(RNN) according to the order of execution. As a result of testing the proposed model with 5-fold cross validation using 1,916 PowerShell-based malwares collected at malware sharing site and 38,148 benign scripts disclosed by an obfuscation detection study, it shows that the model effectively detects malwares with about 97% True Positive Rate(TPR) and 1% False Positive Rate(FPR).

Data errors according to the various noises caused in the satellite communication links are corrected by the Viterbi decoding algorithm which has extreme error correcting capability. In this paper, we designed and implemented a convolutional encoder and Viterbi decoder ASIC which is used to encode the input data at the transmit side and correct the errors of the received data at the receive side for use in the VSAT communication system. And this chip may be used in any BPSK, QPSK, or OQPSK transmission system. The ambiguity resolver corrects PSK modem ambiguities by delaying, interting, and/or exchanging code symbol to restore their original sequence and polarity. In case of previous decoding system, ambiguity state(AS) of data is resolved by external control logic and extra redundancy data are needed to resolve AS. But, by adopting decoder proposed in this paper, As of data is resolved automatically by internal logic of decoder in case of continuous mode, and by external As line withoug extra redudancy data in burst mode case. So, decoding parts are simple in continuous mode and transmission efficiency is increased in bust mode. The features of this chip are full duplex operation with independent transmit and receive control and clocks, start/stop inputs for use in burst mode systems, loopback function to verify encoder and decoder, and internal or external control to resolve ambinguity state. For verification of the function and performance of a fabricated ASIC chip, we equiped this chip in the Central and Remote Earth Station of VSAT system, and did the performance test using the commerical INTELSAT VII under the real satellite link environmens. The results of test were demonstrated the superiority of performance.

In this paper, it is analyzed that the error performance of a Multi-Carrier DS-CDMA system in a single cell with multipath Rician fading and multiple access interference (MAI) and the error performance of the system is compared with that of a Sing1e-Carrier DS-CDMA system. Moreover, the convolutional coding techniques with code rate of 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4 are adopted in order to improve the error performance degraded by the multipath fading and MAI and performance improvement through the coding techniques is analyzed. As a result, it is shown that the number of users in each system can be determined by the number of branches of the rake receiver in a Single-Carrier DS-CDMA system and the number of carriers in a Multi-Carrier DS-CDMA system. Furthermore, the convolutional coding should be chosen with considering the trade-off between coding gain and a power limitation in a Multi-Carrier DS-CDMA system. In case of increasing the number of carriers, the processing gain is decreased but the error performance is improved through the effect of frequency diversity and the system can be possibility implemented due to the low chip rate.
