  • Many classification studies for the community of densely-connected nodes are limited to the comprehensive analysis for detecting the communities in probabilistic networks with nodes and edge of the probabilistic distribution because of the difficulties of the probabilistic operation. This study aims to use convolution method for operating nodes and edge of probabilistic distribution. For the probabilistic hierarchy network with nodes and edges of the probabilistic distribution, the model of this study detects the communities of nodes to make the new probabilistic distribution with two distribution. The results of our model was verified through comparing with Monte-carlo Simulation and other community-detecting methods.

  • A methodology on application of the discrete singular convolution (DSC) technique to the free vibration analysis of thin plates with curvilinear quadrilateral platforms is developed. In the proposed approach, irregular physical domain is transformed into a rectangular domain by using geometric coordinate transformation. The DSC procedures are then applied to discretization of the transformed set of governing equations and boundary conditions. For demonstration of the accuracy and convergence of the method, some numerical examples are provided on plates with different geometry such as elliptic, trapezoidal having straight and parabolic sides, sectorial, annular sectorial, and plates with four curved edges. The results obtained by the DSC method are compared with those obtained by other numerical and analytical methods. The method is suitable for the problem considered due to its generality, simplicity, and potential for further development.

  • In this paper, film uniformity is improved by the bolt-mapping of convolutional image processing between bolts and a film using soft X-ray based in-line LCD TV film thickness controls. The automatic film thickness analysis of 3 inter-bolt's convolution function is proposed for the reduction of offset error from the X-ray changing of line scan in film profiles.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the error rate performance of convolution coded 16 QAM signal in impulsive noise Environments. We used convolution code and selective combining diversity for performance improvement. We analyzed the error rate performance of 16 QAM signal in impulsive noise environments compared with gaussian noise environments. As a result of analysis, there is a BER segment where the efficiency of system does not improve until which limit to raise a signal power potential from impulsive noise environment. when the signal power potential which goes over this limit is supplied, BER efficiency improve much more.

  • In the present manuscript, geometrically nonlinear free vibration analysis of thin laminated plates resting on non-linear elastic foundations is investigated. Winkler-Pasternak type foundation model is used. Governing equations of motions are obtained using the von Karman type nonlinear theory. The method of discrete singular convolution is used to obtain the discretised equations of motion of plates. The effects of plate geometry, boundary conditions, material properties and foundation parameters on nonlinear vibration behavior of plates are presented.

  • Since Jeju is the absolute weight of agriculture and tourism, the analysis of precipitation is more important than other regions. Currently, some numerical models are used for analysis of precipitation of Jeju Island using observation data from meteorological satellites. However, since precipitation changes are more diverse than other regions, it is difficult to obtain satisfactory results using the existing numerical models. In this paper, we propose a Jeju precipitation pattern analysis method using the texture analysis method based on Convolution Neural Network (CNN). The proposed method converts the water vapor image and the temperature information of the area of Jeju Island from the weather satellite into texture images. Then converted images are fed into the CNN to analyse the precipitation patterns of Jeju Island. We implement the proposed method and show the effectiveness of the proposed method through experiments.

  • The structural texture is defined as a form which a texel is regularly repeated in the texture. Structural texture analysis/recognition has various industrial applications, such as automatic inspection of textiles, automatic testing of metal surfaces, and automatic analysis of micro images. In this paper, we propose a Convolution Neural Network (CNN) based system for structural texture analysis. The proposed method learns texles, which are components of textures to be classified. Then, this trained CNN recognizes a structural texture using a partial image obtained from input texture. The experiment shows the superiority of the proposed system.

  • This paper introduces a method for improving accuracy using the first convolution layer, which is not used in most modified CNN(: Convolution Neural Networks). In CNN, such as GoogLeNet and DenseNet, the first convolution layer uses only the traditional methods(3×3 convolutional computation, batch normalization, and activation functions), replacing this with RGB-csb. In addition to the results of preceding studies that can improve accuracy by applying RGB values to feature maps, the accuracy is compared with existing CNN using a limited number of images. The method proposed in this paper shows that the smaller the number of images, the greater the learning accuracy deviation, the more unstable, but the higher the accuracy on average compared to the existing CNN. As the number of images increases, the difference in accuracy between the existing CNN and the proposed method decreases, and the proposed method does not seem to have a significant effect.

  • This paper addresses the effect of group delay in satellite communication system. Phase of signal is distorted by the non-constant group delay. Group delay can be modeled as linear, parabolic and cubic type according to the polynomial characteristic. We investigate BER performance of satellite communication system with each 3 kinds of group delay. As signal bandwidth becomes wider, group delay makes more influence on the signal. BNR performance of satellite communication system is found when data rates are 1Mbps, 4Mbps and 8Mbps. Convolution coding with the code rate of 1/2 or 7/8 is used. At BER =10$\^$-5/, system with group delay needs more SNR of minimum 0.3㏈ to maximum 4.4㏈ than system without group delay. The worst case of BER performance happens in the linear group delay, 7/8 punctured convolution coding and 8 Mbps. The required SNR is increased by 4.4㏈ at this worst case.

  • In this paper, we present a comprehensive analytical study of the symbol error rate (SER) of single-carrier frequency-division multiple access (SC-FDMA) with zero-forcing frequency domain equalization (ZF-FDE) over a Rayleigh fading channel. SC-FDMA is considered as a potential waveform candidate for fifth-generation (5G) radio access networks (RANs). First, the $N_C$ fold convolution of the noise distribution of an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) system is computed for each value of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in order to determine the noise distribution of the SC-FDMA system. $N_C$ is the number of subcarriers assigned to a user or the size of the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) precoding. Here, we present a simple alternative method of calculating the SER by simplifying the $N_C$ fold convolution using time and amplitude scaling properties. The effects of the $N_C$ fold convolution and SNR over the computation of the SER of the SC-FDMA system has been separated out. As a result, the proposed approach only requires the computation of the $N_C$ fold convolution once, and it is used for different values of SNR to calculate the SER of SC-FDMA systems.
