This study is tested the information effects of convertible bond(CB). In orter to examine the abnormal stock returns of convertable day of CB, this study were selected 134 samples for the period from Jan.1988 to Dec.1994. There are some empirical studies which pesent evidents that CB are converted day of CB. The results of empirical study are summarized as follows. As in korea stock market, abnormal stock returns of CB have influenced on convertable day of CB. The day has some affirmative influences but it takes away stock price pressures, the amount of stock and dilution effects. As the results, related corporate stock price falled in preference to market abnormal returns.

When an emergency light turns on due to a blackout, the intensity of illumination is drastically changed from hundreds [1x] to 1.0[1x]. This sharp change of illumination intensity not only lowers the darkness adaptation of the eye, it also degrades the obstacle cognitive ability of the evacuees, resulting in secondary critical accidents due to anxiety, and fear. Thus, this study proposed a convertible emergency lighting fixture that controls the rate of speed of light in two stages by time with darkness adaptation of the eye in consideration. In addition, the effect of such emergency light is verified by suggesting an illumination simulation without increasing the number of light or capacity of battery to make it economically feasible.

A three-dimensional (3D)-two-dimensional (2D) convertible display system using a plastic fiber array is proposed. The proposed system has an advantage of making use of a light source for 3D image from an arbitrary location. The optical efficiency of 3D images in the proposed system is enhanced compared with previous research.

This paper reports the fabrication of a lenticular liquid crystal (LC) lens array with thermally tunable focus and with the function of a convertible lens type, using the surface structure of a UV-curable polymer and a twisted-nematic (TN) LC cell. The TN LC cell makes the LC lenticular lens function as a converging or diverging lens by controlling electrically the polarization of input light. Therefore, the focal lengths for both the converging and diverging lenses, which can be switched from the TN cell, can be tuned by changing the effective refractive index of the LC by Joule heating of the transparent electrode. As a result, the focal length of the lens with the E7 LC was changed continuously from 8.7 to 31.2 mm for the converging lens type and from -9.8 to -14.2 mm for the diverging lens when the temperature was increased from 25 to $56^{\circ}C$.
