The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of mental health (stress perception, depression, suicidal ideation) on binge drinking among adolescents according to gender. Data were collected from the 12th (2016) Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey(KYRBWS) and 65,528 middle and high school students, aged 12-18 years, were selected. Data analysis was conducted by using logistic regression analysis for mental health effects on binge drinking. The results showed that the binge drinking due to mental health of female students was higher in that of male students (stress perception: 1,444 times (95% CI: 1,200-1,737), depression: 1,843 times (95% CI: 1.674-2.029), suicidal ideation: 1.656 times (95% CI: 1.464-1.872)). The development of preventive / therapeutic programs for binge drinking should include not only the management of risk factors for mental health but also various approaches depending on gender.

During the past several years the ROK military has made an effort to build LVC synthetic battlefield that reflects the real world environment. In spite of its efforts, little has been accomplished. The disappointing achievement is mainly due to the lack of operational requirements and concepts, and policies or systematic approaches on the architecture and technology. Furthermore, there is insufficient understanding on the basic concepts and principles, and conflicting interests between organizations. In this study, I propose to construct an LVC based on the HLA that focuses on the system view and technical standard view, rather than the operational view. The proposed approach employs the information centric integration, focuses on an architecture convergence efforts based on the HLA/RTI, emphasizes the HLA compliance test and federation test, adapts to DSEEP, DMAO, and FEAT, and finally invents and implements an LVC Compliance Test System.

Since the 21st century a free-form building has been noticeably constructed. Now the definition "the monumental architecture is a free-form one." has come to be established. As a free-form building became a landmark of the city and a factor rising a value of the building all around the world, it is currently required to consider a more efficient design process. Therefore this research aims to learn approaches of the lasting free-form design process by considering the design process of Dongdaemun Design Plaza(DDP) designed by 'Zaha Hadid' that is a typical free-form building of Korea and the correlation between the design in the conceptual stage and the BIM(Building Information Modeling) design in practical stage.

This study explored the performance factors of casino information systems for foreigners, empirically examined the causal relation between these factors and the business performances through organizational trust and job satisfaction and suggested a direction to enhance the casino information systems. The result of this study showed that, firstly, information quality impacted positively on security reliability and job satisfaction. Secondly, system quality impacted positively on security reliability and job satisfaction. Thirdly, service quality impacted positively on security reliability and job satisfaction. Fourthly, security reliability impacted positively on job satisfaction through security reliability. Lastly, security reliability and job satisfaction impacted positively on business performance. This research must be continued by expanding upon the variables of this research study, and there is a need for follow up research on methods that can analyze the management performance of casino information systems from a diverse set of approaches and also research that conducts an analysis on systems that are implemented to prevent tax evasion.

It has been grown interests of the convergence technologies about communication systems and vehicular industry. Vehicular communications enable a number of infotainment applications to serve cars under high mobility environments. To achieve this goal, a robust and accurate channel estimation scheme is of great importance. This paper proposes an enhanced Decision-Directed channel estimation scheme called PTAU(Pilot Tone Aided Update) for IEEE 802.11p in vehicular communication environment. Existing approaches which use subsequent data symbols to estimate channel response in time domain will lead to the error propagation. In this paper, we use the pilot subcarriers to get initial channel response, then utilize the correlation characteristics to update channel response in frequency domain. Finally, Analysis and simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme outperforms in bit error rate(BER), significantly improve the performance of the estimation.

This paper belongs in a literature of sustainablity policy determination. This paper offers an actual status and explanation to corporate social responsibility of SMEs in Korea. This study examines CSR situation focused on developing mechanisms to enable the SMEs sector. Firstly, this study suggests introducing the third-party professional assurance service on sustainablity reports and/or asking global accreditation such as ISO14001 and ISO26000 when entry as a provider in government e-procurement system. Secondly, this study introduce the CSR Committee headed by the CEO and coordinates group-wide committees to discuss the CSR Guidelines. Third, because CSR does not only have to do with the SMEs, but pertains to the local community and business partner, this study offered the opportunity to work with large companies in aspects of CSR.

No one can deny that information technology has enormously contributed to the recent economic growth of Korea. Software serves as an essential part of most products and services today. However, economic treatments and social status of software technicians, who are the key players and core elements of the software industry, are in a very unsatisfactory situation. Despite this circumstance, discussion or study on the productivity of software people and approaches to raise value of technical manpower in software industry is scarce. The purpose of this study is to suggest a policy program to uplift the value of technical manpower in the software industry. To achieve this purpose, this paper will examine the present status of software manpower, analyze the productivity of software technicians, and suggest policy programs to improve the value of technical manpower in the software field.

With rapid convergence of information technology and expending role of software, many organizations have taken interested in We explore the relationship between the level of change awareness and deployment of software process improvement (SPI) approaches using a competing values framework. To measure awareness level of organization's change, DICE framework which provides means for predicting the outcome of change management initiatives is used. The four factors for organizaton's change: duration, integrity, commitment, and effort are evaluated and a score is calculated. In this paper, we apply the DICE(R) score as an independent variable to predict the outcome of a software process improvement. Our results indicated that the Organization have a higher chance of success have the better outcome in software process improvement.

Information Technology represents substantial financial investment for government organization. However, it seems that the real goal of IT investment, which is to make government more efficient, effective, and responsible through IT systems, has not been seriously aware of in the government organizations. As a result, despite of large investment in IT over many years, substantial benefits accrued to the work, such as process innovation and work efficiency, have not actually occurred. In this paper, it is argued that, since IT benefits will not be realized without any effective benefits realization efforts, it is needed in IT evaluation to put more emphasis on the efforts. Therefore, it is suggested that appropriate IT evaluation can possibly work as a guideline for deriving the desired benefits through the IT investment. In this study, some of the well known approaches were reviewed about what IT evaluation and IT benefits realization efforts should be. Current evaluation method was analyzed from the perspective of benefits realization. On the basis of the analysis, this study leads to suggestions that improve the current ways of evaluating IT performance, helping government focus on realizing practical IT benefits at work.

In the past years, the influx of Korean tourists to international destinations has seen a significant rise, especially in non-Asian countries. However, Mexico is still far from a popular destination to the average Korean tourist. Using Keller's brand equity model, this paper researches Koreans' opinions and general brand image of Mexico in an attempt to identify both the positive and negative perceptions they have of this country. Keller's brand model analyses four different levels of engagement between the customers and the brand. We want to know the degree to which Koreans have been engaged in Mexico as a brand nation and as a tourist destination. Research findings through this study will reveal the needs and insights that offer opportunities relevant for the planning, creation, design and development of new approaches for Mexico's nation brand promotion.
