A Study of the Beauty Brand Experience Case Using Metaverse (메타버스를 이용한 뷰티 브랜드 경험 사례에 대한 고찰)

  • Since COVID-19, digital transformation has been taking place in the entire industry, and Metaverse is attracting attention as an untect service. Therefore, this study aims to find out about brand experience marketing cases using metaverse targeting beauty brands. This study reviewed previous studies related to metaverse marketing and beauty brand marketing. SK-II, Christian Dior used VR technology to provide users with contents and experience of brand products, and L'Oreal, Sephora, Laneige used AR technology to provide virtual makeup applications. It's believed that this experience marketing will have a positive effect on customers' purchase intention and its importance will increase further to target Z Generation. It's expected that this study can be used as related data in the metaverse and experience marketing of beauty brands, and research on metaverse marketing should be continued in the beauty field.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish an S.I. (Space Identity) considering the spatial location and cultural specificity of Jecheon Jungang Market, the oldest and largest market in Jecheon with historical characteristics. To this end, we identify the flow of the cultural tourism market, investigate and analyze the current state of Jecheon Central Market, and present a direction based on storytelling for each space. The concept of space design was divided into space, time, people, and culture as coexistence, and merchants, products, and shopping malls share temporality and coexist in one space. Therefore, the facilities for each floor consisted of a gate, information board, lighting, rest area, design bench facility, information center, business compliance line, floor sign, and gate floor sign for each floor. Through this, it is necessary to establish a mid- to long-term development strategy by establishing a step-by-step promotion strategy to predict the economic effect of creating new demand and increasing sales in Jecheon Central Market.

  • Although the Ti-6Al-4V alloy has been used in the aircraft industry owing to its excellent mechanical properties and low density, the low formability of the alloy hinders broadening its applications. Recently, laser-powder bed fusion (L-PBF) has become a novel process for overcoming the limitations of the alloy (i.e., low formability), owing to the high degree of design freedom for the geometry of products having outstanding performance used in high-tech applications. In this study, to investigate the effect of bulk shape on the microstructure and mechanical properties of L-PBFed Ti-6Al-4V alloys, two types of samples are fabricated using L-PBF: thick and thin samples. The thick sample exhibits lower strength and higher ductility than the thin sample owing to the larger grain size and lower residual dislocation density of the thick sample because of the heat input during the L-PBF process.

  • The latest global issues are the Space economy and low-orbit Space communication. 3GPP announced Release 17 standardization in June 2022, and in this regard, the United States prepared a strategy to enhance the competitiveness of the low-orbit 5G-NTN Space industry, and create an ecosystem at the national level in March 2023. Global smartphone semiconductor manufacturers have announced the development and verification results of standard-based chip technology, and satellite communication operators are launching low-orbit 5G-NTN Space communication services and rate products through convergence between terrestrial communication networks. This study diagnoses the current status of Korea's low-orbit 5G-NTN space communication ecosystem. We present our ecosystem creation strategy in terms of fair competition in the market, the service legal system, and the national R&D governance system.

  • The purpose of this study is to present basic data for hair color work plans that can consistently produce hair color design products for designers through analysis of gradient techniques among hair color design techniques. The research method was to select 10 photos of women that appeared in mass media from 2022 to September 15, 2023, extract color chips and RGB values using the Eyedropper Tool in Adobe Photoshop CS6, and convert the RGB values of the color chips into Munsell Conversion ( The data was converted into HV/C values of version 12.1.13a). Based on the extracted data, the gradient hair colors of female pop stars were analyzed by displaying the data on a color scale. As a result, in the I.R.I color scheme image scale, the image of female pop stars was more hard than soft. In addition, it was confirmed that the focus was on static rather than dynamic. Color matching images according to hair color were extracted with adjectives such as noble, decent, elegant, and subtle. Three hairstyles were created using this theme.

  • This study aims to develop a predictive model to suggest a used sales price to sellers and buyers when trading used tablet PCs. For model development, we analyzed the real used tablet PC transaction data and additionally collected detailed product information. We developed several predictive models and selected the best predictive model among them. Specifically, we considered a multiple linear regression model using the used sales price as a dependent variable and other variables in the integrated data as independent variables, a multiple linear regression model including interactions, and the models from stepwise variable selection in each model. The model with the best predictive performance was finally selected through cross-validation. Through this study, we can predict the sales price of used tablet PCs and suggest appropriate used sales prices to sellers and buyers.

  • As COVID-19 made it difficult to travel abroad and attract domestic tourists to foreigners, the phenomenon of MZ generations flocking to Jeju through consumption patterns occurred. In this study, if Jeju Island uses Jeju's rural tourism and smart glasses to study how to attract and cope with domestic tourists after the pandemic and build a mobile application or smart glass to tour based on village maps, the docent guide service through smart glasses will help tourists. Furthermore, it would be very beneficial to introduce a location-based service to provide the necessary information at the location according to the movement path of tourists. In fact, we conclude that it can be implemented through the development of the Hansung Baekje Museum, and hope that the actual media can be applied to free tourist courses such as Jeju Olle Trail, as it provides various contents in selective development such as AR and VR.

Anti-oxidative and Anti-inflammatory Effects of Black Garlic Pomace Extract (흑마늘박 추출물의 항산화활성 및 항염효과)

  • This study was performed as a preliminary experiment to develop functional feed additives using by-products generated during the production of black garlic. Therefore antioxidant and immune enhancing activity of black garlic pomace were measured. As a result of measuring the antioxidant activity of black garlic pomace, it was found antioxidant activity. Nitric oxide (NO) assay was performed to test the immune enhancing activity of vegetable samples including black garlic pomace among the samples used in the experiment. As a result of the NO assay experiment, highest concentrations of black garlic pomace, aster glehni, and MIX form produced NO, which Garlic pomace (69.4%), aster glehni (35.9%), and MIX (45.3%), respectively, compared to LPS (100%). In conclusion, it is considered that black garlic pomace contains an anti-inflammatory effect, and if the optimal mixing ratio of black garlic pomace and aster glehni is selected, it will be of sufficient value as a feed additive containing an anti-inflammatory effect.

  • Pycnogenol is used as a dietary supplement based on various medical research studies suggesting health benefits. In recent years, it has also been used in cosmetic products, but the clinical research on its dermatologic effects has been insufficient. This study was designed to determine the effectiveness of pycnogenol topically applied to skin of individuals with acne in their teens and twenties. Cosmetics containing 0.2% pycnogenol were applied to a group of 11 clinical subjects for 6 weeks and their skin conditions were assessed. The group that used cosmetics with pycnogenol showed decrease in P-Acnes, acne causing bacteria, phorphyrin index, a metabolite, and the pigmentation and redness index. This study confirms that pycnogenol extract is effective dermatologically in decreasing acne bacteria and reducing redness and pigmentation of skin affected by acne.

Beyond the existing music market, where music copyright and performance rights were the center of the music business, we are unifying and operating communication channels that connect artists and fans, such as investment products derived from music copyrights. The technology that connects the fandom with additional business digital content has transformed into global platforms such as HYBE Entertainment's and YG Entertainment's Weverse, as well as SM Entertainment's Bubble. In addition, various national support projects to build a 5G MEC (MobileEdge Computing) environment to quickly respond to the rapidly changing 5G industry ecosystem are supporting for the immersive content demonstration, immersive content testing, and technical analysis, we are laying the groundwork to efficiently respond to the ever-expanding metaverse content market. Technology is changing dramatically. Therefore, we would like to study to changes in the music market brought about by technology and suggest strategies for a new era in the music business.
