  • This study aims to analyze whether both childcare subsidy and childcare leave policies have moderating effects on the relationship between Korean women's value of children and their intentions for subsequent childbirth. The data are used from the 2015 National Survey on Fertility and Family Health and Welfare. Both hierarchical multiple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis are used for statistical analysis. The findings from the study are as follow. First, the ideal number of children, instrumental values, and emotional values have positive effects on the intentions for subsequent childbirth after controlling for background variables(level of education, income, age, and number of children). Second, childcare leave policy has no significant effect on the intentions for subsequent childbirth while childcare subsidy policy has the negative effect. Third, only childcare subsidy policy has moderating effects on the relationship between instrumental, emotional values, and the intentions for subsequent childbirth. These results suggest that policies enhancing the value of children should be implemented in addition to traditional birth rate policies. Furthermore, new birth rate polices are needed for those married women who have a high possibility of subsequent childbirth.

  • Rapid growth of information and communication technology and changes in college student characteristics require for university instructors to diversify instructional improvement efforts. Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a capacity that instructors need to build for making instructional design based on consolidated technology. Accordingly this study explores instructors' awareness of the importance and performance of TPACK and to inquire into their relationships with epistemological beliefs and social support as relevant factors through a survey carried out with 264 instructors. The study has shown that there is a significant difference between college instructors' awareness of the importance of TPACK and their awareness of its performance. Furthermore, it has shown that the awareness of importance and performance of TPACK is significantly related to the social support, and that among the sub-factors of the social support, significant influences are observed from the emotional support on their awareness of the importance of TPACK and from the informational support on their awareness of the performance of TPACK. These results provide fundamental data for measures to develop and support TPACK capacity of college instructors, suggesting that it requires a teaching support strategy to enhance social support for instructors above all things.

Mean scores for each category were 3.69 for burnout, 3.08 for emotional labor, and 3.44 for social support. There was statistically significant difference between burnout and demographic characteristics, in age, education level, position, and clinical career; there was statistically significant difference between emotional labor and demographic characteristics, in age, working unit and clinical career. Emotional labor was positively correlated with burnout and social support was negatively correlated with burnout. As a result, factor influencing burnout was emotional labor, age, and social support. This predictor accounted for 31.5% of variance in burnout. Therefore, it is necessary to establish strategies to reduce nurses' emotional labor and improve the awareness of social support.

  • In this study investigated the factors for the career preparation behaviors of social welfare major students based on Lent et al. (1994)'s Social-cognitive Career Theory so as to provide essential baseline data for establishing proper career support strategies that suit the distinctive nature of social welfare studies. The participants of this study are 132 social welfare major students from three colleges who have completed social welfare field education. This study analyzed the relationship between cognitive factor (outcome expectation), vocational interest factor (major selection satisfaction), goal factor (career decision level), and work performance factor (career preparation behavior). For analysis, SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 were used. The analysis results are as follows. First, the model's goodness of fit was found to be at a statistically ideal level with CFI=.904, TLI=.887, and RMSEA=.068. Second, the result of analyzing the correlation between the primary variables is as follows: as outcome expectation increased, major selection satisfaction grew, which then increased the career decision level and led to the improvement in career preparation behavior. These results indicate the importance of developing a customized route support program considering the perceived and interesting factors of individual students to improve their career preparation behavior for social welfare majors.

The participants were 184, 1~2 grad of nursing students of K university in G city. The data were collected from May 1 to May 31, 2017, and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program with one-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple stepwise regression. The level of dementia attitudes, recognition of dementia policy, dementia knowledge and attitudes toward older adults were more than moderate. The correlations among recognition of dementia policy, dementia knowledge, attitudes toward older adults and dementia attitudes were significant. These variables showed an explanation rate 23.4% and recognition of dementia policy(β=.22, p=.004), dementia attention(no)(β=-.20, p=.006), dementia ward intent to work(no)(β=-.16, p=.021), dementia knowledge(β=.15, p=.027) were statistically significant among the variables that influenced dementia attitudes. • This thesis looks closely at the moderating effect of individual variables while we analyzed how corporate's ethics policies have influence on his ethical decision-making behaviors. The subjects of the research were full-time employees (n=211) in the Seoul metropolitan region. The research model was substantiated through statistical analysis of credibility and validity, correlation, variance, and moderated regression analysis (MRA). This study found that within an organization with a code of ethics, the level of enforcement of the code and the level of employee awareness of core values sought by the company determined the level of influence of the code on ethical decision making. In other words, internal factors exerted a greater influence than external evaluation of a corporation's ethical decision making practices and therefore, it is necessary for decision-making practices to be transparent and recognized by the members within an organization. The study also found that the employee's awareness about the long-term visions of the company at a higher level and the employees who have a locus of control to their members internally acted as independent variables as well as control variables on the ethical decision-making. In addition, there were great differences in the level of ethical decision-making among the variables used as controls, which means these differences were related to the individual variables. Accordingly, in order to get ethical decision-making practices at a higher level, a education & training program will be designed and implemented variously as considering on the particular characteristics of the control variables we used in this study.
