  • Many researchers have discussed on a policy establishment to revitalize a regional industry of a domestic ecosystem. However, it is rare to consider activation measures and priorities that are appropriate for local characteristics. Therefore, this study conducted a qualitative study to gather and analyze the views of expert groups in order to derive measures to revitalize the automobile industry in Gwangju. We examined the current status of the automobile industry in Gwangju based on a literature survey and in-depth interviews and what kind of crisis there is. We then derive strategic candidates for activation measures to address this. In addition, the relative importance and priorities of the methods derived using AHP techniques were identified. This leads to five strategies on which methods should be applied first. This will be used as the basis for future strategy development.

  • This study aims to investigate the influence of the components of the startup ecosystem on the business performance of startups, focusing on the mediating effect of the location environment. By presenting the insight that the popularization of start-ups can be an alternative for job creation thanks to the government's start-up support policy considering the location environment, it is possible to construct an optimal configuration scenario between the components of the start-up ecosystem and the location environment. Furthermore, it is expected to contribute to the improvement of corporate management performance. To achieve this goal, we performed a survey and the subjects were domestic start-up company employees with less than 7 years of experience. The results show that the components of the start-up ecosystem had a significant effect on the business performance of start-up companies and the location environment and on the management performance of start-up companies according to the mediation of the location environment.

  • Despite the great interest in the metaverse from academia and industry, research so far has been focused on a specific area, and the background of the study is in the recognition that research is necessary from the perspective of the entire metaverse ecosystem. The purpose of this study was to derive the metaverse research framework and each component to study from the perspective of the metaverse ecosystem, and to study the development stage of the metaverse ecosystem. From an academic point of view, the ecosystem components were derived through the Metaverse IDC-Platform, a framework for applying Michael Porter's diamond model to the metaverse. From a practical point of view, the four components of the metaverse ecosystem interact with each other in terms of metaverse application and development. As the basis of this study, it can be used strategically because it is possible to identify areas for reinforcement in academia and industry and provide basic data for insight by closely examining the strengths and weaknesses of each component. The contribution of research is that it has created a foundation for research that has been limited to specific areas from an ecosystem perspective, unlike before.

  • Metaverse which was not mentioned until recently due to the failure of 'Second Life' in the past is drawing attention again with the emergence and popularity of metaverse platforms such as 'Roblox' and 'Zeppetto'. On the other hand, there are concerns that past failures will still be repeated. In order to create and sustain the ecosystem surrounding the metaverse, it is important to diagnose and analyze the development process of the metaverse industry and market to define a clear concept that expresses the current metaverse boom. In this paper, the metaverse of the future is defined as "Metaverse 2.0: A virtual world that evolves into a 'Hyper world' through the convergence of hyper-connectivity, hyper-intelligence, and hyper-reality." And six issues that need to be resolved for the activation of the metaverse were analyzed. Based on the contents of this study, it is expected that the metaverse ecosystem will be formed and spread by establishing the roles of the public sector and the private sector.

  • The purpose of this study is to help Counseling & Coaching(C&C) service and marketing by understanding C&C professionals' perception about the fourth industrial age. The qualitative research method of phenomenology was utilized in this study. In-depth personal interviews of 5 C&C Specialist with more than 10 years of experience in the C&C service setting were conducted using the records from May, 2018 to July, 2018. Content analysis was done using the Colaizzi' phenomenological method. The results based on the data analysis, 20 descriptive statements and 5 themes were confirmed. The 5 themes were as followed; 'A growing interest', 'Psychological burden of change' 'New hope through convergence', 'Do not move to action', and 'Think about new strategies'. This study helps to recognize counseling coaching professionals who are preparing for the fourth industrial age. The results can be used as a starting point for identifying the knowledge ecosystem and activating the counseling coaching service in the fourth industrial age.

  • Infinite competition on ICT industries is starting again. The basis of competence over global dominance will be human resource, a global ecosystem for products and national agenda for science and technology, etc.. This paper presents the six solution for the Global Competitiveness and Coexistence of Korean ICT Industries. Korea should nurture the brand of "World Best Korean ICT Forever" to secure technical competency of ICT related fields in global market. All ICT technologies should be aligned to global standard and market demand from beginning and the ecosystem around product needs to be established. System framework for utilizing the resource of core SW experts must be established. Through global partnership with China as manufacturing base for Korea-developed products, technical competency can be maintained including product planning. Security measure for technical assets is mandatory. Finally, core technology that will drive the future of ICT industries in Korea should be regarded as core subjects.

  • The topic of this study is to ask and answer about 'What matters most in medicine'. And the purpose of this study is to establish paradigm which guarantee 'the original principles of science in medicine' and 'the safety of human life in medicine'. The organized characteristics of this study is as follows. 1. 'The harmony of nature (heaven, earth and human)' is the base of medicine. Because medicine control life directly and all life is 'the son of nature'. 2. 'The harmony of Eum and Yang' is the essential power of universe and the key of metabolism of all life including human, animals and plants. Because 'the nature of universe' and all 'Life field' is 'electro-magnetic field'. 3. The Convergence of Oriental medicine and Western medicine orients 'the harmony of Eum and Yang'.

  • To understand the temporal variation of prokaryotic communities in a temperate coastal area, prokaryotic abundance, activity, and community composition were investigated every week for over a year at a coastal monitoring station of Yeong-do, Busan. The prokaryotic abundances fluctuated about 10 times, ranging from 2.0 to 20.1 × 105 cells mL-1 and tended to be high in spring when phytoplankton bloom occurred. The prokaryotic thymidine incorporation rates (TTI) varied in a low range between 0.2 and 11.5 pmol L-1 h-1 in winter. However, in summer, TTI were increased up to a range of 8.3 to 17.4 pmol L-1 h-1, showing an increasing pattern in summer. During the study period, Alphaproteobacteria was the most dominant class for most of the year, followed by Flavobacteria. While the seasonal variation of prokaryotic composition was not apparent at the class level, many prokaryotic species showed a distinct temporal or seasonal variation for the year. In the coastal site, prokaryotic biomass and activity did not show significant correlations with temperature and chlorophyll-a, which are well known to regulate prokaryotic growth in marine environments, suggesting that the study area may be affected by diverse sources of organic matter for their growth.
