  • This study analyzed the impact of the real estate changes on the unemployment rate in Korea. Using monthly data from January 2013 to February 2023, the study employed a multiple regression analysis model. The key findings are as follows: First, there was a significant causal relationship between the real estate changes and the unemployment rate. Specifically, an increase in the real estate market led to a significant decrease in the unemployment rate, while a decrease in the real estate market resulted in a significant increase in the unemployment rate. Second, an increase in the loan interest rate was found to significantly reduce the unemployment rate, while a rise in interest rates had positive effects on the employment. Furthermore, an increase in inflation was associated with a significant rise in the unemployment rate. Moreover, an increase in the number of permits issued for housing construction significantly reduced the unemployment rate. Lastly, conducting robustness tests by substituting variables did not significantly alter the analysis results, indicating the robustness of the impact of the real estate changes on the unemployment rate. Based on the above analysis, it can be inferred that the fluctuations in real estate prices in South Korea are linked to fluctuations in the unemployment rate, and stable management of the real estate market may contribute to the stability of the unemployment rate.

  • This study attempted to verify and examine the effect of screen golf course service quality on reuse. A total of 300 copies were distributed, and a total of 247 copies were used for analysis, excluding 53 questionnaires with poor responses or many missing questions. Based on these results, the following implications were derived. First, screen golf course users were mainly used by friends, acquaintances, and social groups, and information was obtained through human and Internet, and empathy and reliability among service quality affected the reuse of screen golf courses. When users experience high-quality services, they have high satisfaction and high service quality, and they can increase the probability of forming loyalty and recommending and promoting them to people around them. However, experiencing poor quality services can disappoint customers and leave negative comments on people around them, which reduces the likelihood of reuse. Therefore, in order to increase the reuse of golf courses, quality management, customer opinions and feedback must be accepted, and problems must be dealt with quickly to improve the quality of services and provide services that satisfy customers. Second, although the types, responsiveness, and certainty of sub-factors of screen golf course service quality were not significant in this study, management strategies should be used to increase survival in the highly competitive screen golf industry and reuse them by providing differentiated services.

  • Since the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, related studies have been conducted in various fields including industrial fields. In this study, to analyze domestic research trends on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a keyword analysis and topic modeling analysis based on the LDA algorithm were conducted on 2,115 papers included in the KCI from January 2016 to August 2023. As a result of this study, first, the journals in which more than 30 academic papers related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution were published were digital convergence research, humanities society 21, e-business research, and learner-centered subject education research. Second, as a result of the topic modeling analysis, seven topics were selected: "human and artificial intelligence," "data and personal information management," "curriculum change and innovation," "corporate change and innovation," "education change and jobs," "culture and arts and content," and "information and corporate policies and responses." Third, common research topics related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution are "change in the curriculum," "human and artificial intelligence," and "culture arts and content," and common keywords include "company," "information," "protection," "smart," and "system." Fourth, in the first half of the research period (2016-2019), topics in the field of education appeared at the top, but in the second half (2020-2023), topics related to corporate, smart, digital, and service innovation appeared at the top. Fifth, research topics tended to become more specific or subdivided in the second half of the study. This trend is interpreted as a result of socioeconomic changes that occur as core technologies in the fourth industrial revolution are applied and utilized in various industrial fields after the corona pandemic. The results of this study are expected to provide useful information for identifying research trends in the field of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, establishing strategies, and subsequent research.

  • This study aims to contribute to the reduction of the failure rate and social costs resulting from business failures by analyzing factors that affect the insolvency of social enterprises, as the role of social enterprises is increasing in our economy. The data used in this study were classified as normal and insolvent companies among social enterprises (including prospective social enterprises) that were established between 2009 and 2018 and received credit guarantees from credit guarantee institutions as of the end of June 2022. Among the collected data, 439 social enterprises with available financial information were targeted; 406 (92.5%) were normal enterprises, and 33 (7.5%) were insolvent enterprises. Through a literature review, eight non-financial factors commonly used for insolvency prediction were selected. The cross-analysis results showed that four of these factors were significant. Logistic regression analysis revealed that two variables, including corporate credit rating and the personal credit rating of the representative, were significant. Financial factors such as debt ratio, sales operating profit rate, and total asset turnover were used as control variables. The empirical analysis confirmed that the two independent variables maintained their influence even after controlling for financial factors. Given that government-led support and development policies have limitations, there is a need to shift policy direction so that various companies aspiring to create social value can enter the social enterprise sector through private and regional initiatives. This would enable the social economy to create an environment where local residents can collaborate to realize social value, and the government should actively support this.

  • This study sought to verify and examine the factors that influence social capital on social economy awareness. To summarize the results of the study, the results are as follows. As a result of analyzing the impact of social capital on social economy awareness, norms (t=3.228, p<.01) and participation (t=3.057, p<.01) had a significant impact on social economy awareness. In other words, the better the norms are observed and the higher the participation, the more influence it has on social economy awareness. Based on these results, the following implications were drawn. First, 'norms' refer to rules or standards that community members must adhere to within society, and these norms play a role in regulating the behavior of individuals and promoting social cooperation. Through this, it is believed that a strong normative system can have a significant impact on the way people participate or cooperate in social economy activities. Second, 'participation' is an indicator of how actively an individual or group participates in social activities. People with high levels of participation through social capital will have a high level of understanding of social economy awareness and will be able to act effectively. These results show that in previous studies, the better the norms were observed and the more trust and networks were strengthened, the higher the awareness of social economy. In contrast, in this study, norms and trust were found to have an effect, but the network did not, showing a difference from the results of previous studies, so repeated research is expected to be necessary in the future. Considering the results above, strengthening and developing the elements of social capital such as norms and participation can have a positive impact on overall socioeconomic awareness and development.

  • The majority of research on lifestyle has been conducted based on a variable-centered approach. However, over the last decades, there is a growing body of research on lifestyle in terms of a person-centered approach. Hence, this study identifies senior generations' profiles based on the combination of the five realms of lifestyle. More specifically, this study utilized a Latent profile analysis(LPA) to explore both quantitatively and qualitatively distinct types of senior generation' lifestyle profiles. As a result, the five distinct types of senior lifestyle profiles were identified and these five profiles were then contrasted with traveling attitude and behavioral intention(traveling intention). In addition, this study attempted to identify similarity in the patterns of relations with theoretical antecedent, correlate and outcome variables. Results showed that even though senior generation belonging to profile groups pertaining to the high level of all five types of lifestyle were associated with a high level of attitude and behavior intention, there was no differences among the profiles. This means that regardless of the patterns of senor generation lifestyle profiles, there was no similarity. Nevertheless, it should be considered that senior generation consider a security when making a travel ling decision regardless of the patterns of lifestyle profiles. This results suggest that senior generation' traveling satisfaction is more likely obtained with the experience of safety and convenience during their travel. At last, this study discusses some implication tourism theory related to lifestyle, practices and future research on tourism profiles.
