모델실험 및 수치해석을 통한 페리미터존 에어배리어 공조방식웨 열성능 평가 (Evaluation of Thermal Performance for Air-Barrier Air-conditioning System in Perimeter Zone by Scale Model Experiment and Simulation)

  • For the purpose of evaluating the thermal performance for air-barrier air conditioning system in perimeter zone, two air-conditioning systems, conventional perimeter air-conditioning system and air-barrier system, are evaluated and compared by scale model experiment and simulation during cooling season. As a result, measurement shows that supply air velocity of 1 m/s in the upstream direction at perimeter is more effective. Air-barrier system could reduce the cooling energy by $10\sim20\%$ compared with conventional system. Numerical simulation was carried out considering solar effect for reliable result. This method has improved the accuracy of numerical simulation for the space affected by the solar radiation. Both measurement and simulation results show that supply air velocity of 1 m/s at perimeter is the most effective.

Relay-assisted multiuser MIMO-DQSM system for correlated fading channels

  • This paper presents the performance evaluation of an amplify-and-forward (AF) relay-assisted multiuser multiple input-multiple output (MU-MIMO) downlink transmission system for correlated fading channels. The overall system performance was improved by incorporating a double-quadrature spatial modulation (DQSM) scheme. The bit error rate (BER) performance and detection complexity of the AF-MU-MIMO-DQSM system were analyzed and compared with those of a conventional AF-MU-MIMO system under the same conditions and parameters. The results showed that the correlated fading channel severely affected the performance of systems with higher spectral efficiency (SE). Considering an SE of 12 bpcu/user, the AF-MU-MIMO-DQSM system yielded a gain of up to 3 dB in BER performance compared with that of its conventional counterpart for the analyzed cases. In terms of detection complexity, the AF-MU-MIMO-DQSM system showed a reduction of up to 56 % compared with that of the conventional system for the optimal maximum likelihood detection criterion.

국제전자상거래를 위한 전자결제시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Electronic Payment Systems for International e-Business)

  • 전통적인 상거래 방식에서의 결제시스템으로는 신용장에 의한 방식, 추심에 의한 방식, 송금에 의한 방식 등이 있으며, 신용장방식은 수출자가 대금지급에 대한 확실성과 금융상의 편리, 신용위험의 감소로 보편적으로 가장 많이 선호하고 있다. 추심 방식은 오랜 신용관계에 있는 거래선간에 조심스럽게 이용되고 있다. 송금방식은 소액이나 견본 등의 대금지불에 알맞은 방식이다. 인터넷 전자상거래 방식에서의 결제시스템으로는 지불 브로크형 시스템, 전자화폐시스템, 소액전자지불시스템, 전자자금이체시스템 등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 전통적인 방식의 결제방식과 인터넷을 이용한 결제시스템의 차이와 장ㆍ단점을 비교하였다. 인터넷 결제시스템은 전통적인 방식보다 결제시간을 줄일 수 있는 반면, 소매거래 (B to C)환경에 국한되는 단점을 가지고 있다. 도매거래(B to B)하에서는 전통적인 결제시스템이 안정성, 안전성, 신뢰성 측면에서 인터넷 결제시스템보다 아직까지는 월등한 상황이다.

범용 신틸레이터 감마카메라와 심근전용 반도체 감마카메라의 성능 비교 연구 (Compared Performance of Semiconductor SPECT in Myocardial Perfusion SPECT: Phantom study)

  • 최근 Cadmium-zinc-telluride (CZT) 반도체를 이용한 심장전용 감마카메라가 심장 핵의학 검사에 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 기존 NaI(Tl) 신틸레이터를 사용한 감마카메라와 성능을 비교해 보고자 한다. CZT반도체를 사용한 심장전용 감마카메라(DSPECT, Spectrum-dynamic)와 범용 신틸레이터 SPECT 감마카메라(Infinia, GE)를 사용하여 연구를 진행했다. 방사성 동위원소는 $^{99m}TcO^{-4}$를 사용하고, 일반 임상 심장핵의학 검사에 사용된 조건을 실험 조건으로 설정 했다. NEMA 2001, 3 line phantom을 사용하여 반치폭(full width at half maximum, FWHM)을 측정하여 공간분해능(Spatial resolution)을 비교했다. 심장 팬텀을 사용하여 대조도대잡음비(Contrast to noise, CNR)를 비교하여 영상을 평가했다. 그리고 팬텀의 시간 당 MBq당 계수를 측정하여 민감도도 평가했다. NaI (Tl) 신틸레이터를 사용한 범용SPECT 감마카메라와 CZT 반도체를 사용한 심장 전용 감마카메라의 영상평가에서 감도는 $52.83counts{\cdot}sec^{-1}{\cdot}MBq^{-1}$$195.83counts{\cdot}sec^{-1}{\cdot}MBq^{-1}$로 나왔고, 공간분해능은 16.90 mm과 9.47 mm로 나왔다. 그리고 대조도대 잡음비는 3.6 과 4.2 로 나왔다. 기존 카메라를 이용한 심장 핵의학 영상과 비교하여 CZT를 사용한 심장 전용 감마카메라는 감도 및 공간분해능, 대조도대잡음비가 기존 감마카메라와 비교하여 월등하여 임상에서 환자의 피폭선량 저감과 검사 시간 단축, 높은 분해능의 영상으로 환자 만족도에 큰 영향을 줄 것으로 사료 된다.

  • 국내 기존선 전 구간의 폐색장치는 전자화 및 통합화가 되어있지 않아 건설과 유지보수 측면에서 많은 보완점을 가지고 있다. 현재 사용되고 있는 ABS(Automatic Block System)와 고속화 노선에 추가 설치된 ATP(Automatic Train Protection) 시스템의 LEU(Lineside Electronic Unit)는 동일한 장소에서 동일한 신호정보에 의해 열차를 제어하고 있음에도 불구하고 별개의 시스템으로 분리되어 설치되어 열차를 제어하고 있다. 따라서 현재의 ABS와 LEU에서는 램프검지부나 전원부 등과 같이 중복 설치된 부품이 많기 때문에 전체적인 제품의 제조 원가가 높아질 뿐만 아니라, 시공비 역시 2중으로 소요되고 유지보수에도 많은 인력과 비용을 투자해야 하는 등의 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 ABS 제어기능을 CPU에 의한 디지털 전자제어방식으로 제어할 수 있도록 하는 집중형 전자폐색제어장치의 시제품 개발과 환경시험 및 기능시험을 수행한 결과를 제시하고 있다. 이러한 집중형 전자폐색제어장치는 LEU와 통합된 형태뿐 아니라 ATP 시스템이 설치되지 않은 노선에서도 전자폐색제어장치만을 별도로 사용할 수 있도록 개발되었다.

  • The e-Logistics means the virtual business activity and service architecture among the logistics companies based on the Internet technology. The management of vehicles' location in most conventional vehicle tracking system has some critical defects when it deals with data which are continuously changed. It means the conventional vehicle tracking system based on the conventional database is unable eventually to cope with the environment that should manage the frequently changed location of vehicles. The important things in the evaluation of the vehicle tracking system is to determine the threshold of cost of database ,update period and communication period between vehicles and the system. In other words, the difference between the reallocation of vehicle and the data in database can evaluate the overall performance of vehicle tracking systems. Most of the previous works considers only the information that is valid at the current time, and is hard to manage efficiently the past and future information. To overcome this problem, the efforts on moving objects management system(MOMS) and uncertainty processing have been started from a few years ago. In this paper, we propose an uncertainty processing model and system implementation of moving object that tracks the location of the vehicles. We adopted both linear-interpolation method and trigonometric function to chase up the location of vehicles for the past time as well as future time, respectively. We also explain the comprehensive examples of MOMS and uncertainty processing in parcel application that is one of major application of e-Logistics domain.

DEVELOPMENT OF PORTABLE NEAR INFRARED SYSTEM FOR HUMAN SKIN MOISTURE

  • In this study, portable near infrared (NIR) system was newly integrated with a photodiode array detector, which has no moving parts and this system has been successfully applied for evaluation of human skin moisture. The good correlation between NIR absorbance and absolute water content of separated hairless mouse skin was, in vitro, showed depending on the water content (7.42-84.94%) using this portable NIR system. Partial least squares (PLS) regression was used for the calibration with the 1100-1650 nm wavelength range. For the practical use for the evaluation of human skin based on moisture, PLS model for human skin moisture was, in vivo, developed using the portable NIR system based on the relative water content values of stratum corneum from the conventional capacitance method. The PLS model showed a good correlation. This study indicated that the portable NIR system could be a powerful tool for human skin moisture, which may be much more stable to environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity, compared to conventional methods. Furthermore, in order to confirm the performance of newly integrated portable NIR system, scanning type conventional NIR spectrometer was used in the same experiments and the results were compared.

기존선 해빙시스템을 위한 해빙전류 예측기법 및 구성 절차에 관한 연구 (A Study on Deicing Current Estimation Technique and Configuration Process for Deicing System in the Conventional Line)

  • Deicing system is to melt frost or ice freezed in catenary line when the temperature is lower than $0^{\circ}C$ in winter. The principle of deicing system is to melt frost or ice by Joule heat of catenary impedance. The performance of deicing is dependant of deicing current determined by the length of deicing section, deicing impedance and current division ratio of catenary line and messenger line. So, we present technique for estimating deicing current and process for determination of deicing section in the conventional line. Deicing impedance is estimated using Carson-Pollaczek equation, and current division ratio of catenary line and messenger line is estimated using voltage drop, and deicing current is estimated using power system data of deicing system. For the determination of the final deicing section, we verified estimated value comparing with experiment value of deicing impedance and current division ratio of catenary line and messenger line using low voltage experiment. Finally, we verified the validity of estimation technique and process using a simulated test data of real deicing system operation in the Chungju Substation, Chungbuk line.

효과적 공간활용을 위한 Side Stream Plug-Flow Reactor를 이용한 하수 고도처리 공정 적용에 관한 연구 (A study on Applicable to Advanced treatment of using Side Stream Plug-Flow Reactor)

  • This study configured the conventional $A^2O$ (Anaerobic-Anoxic-Aerobic bioreactor) system which the fixed media immersed into the anoxic reactor(Named PFR system : Plug Flow Reactor) for evaluating the removal efficiency of nitrogen in the wastewater. The experimental equipment was a cylinder which was consist of 4 pleated PE Pipes(Length 330M, Diameter 100mm) including 2 rope shape media. As a result, the average effluent T-N removal efficiency of the conventional $A^2O$ system was 17.9, 40.3, 50.6, 44.6% in each mode, but the average effluent T-N removal efficiency of the PFR system could achieve 38.8, 57.1, 71.8, 65.4% in each mode. It indicated that the PFR system caused to the increasing of C/N ratio that effected to the increasing of the denitrification efficiency. Not only the effective T-N removal efficiency but also the controllable install space will give advantages for retrofitting of the wastewater treatment plant with the conventional treatment system to the PFR system.

전달경로의 차이를 이용한 새로운 차량용 능동 머플러의 개발 (New Active Muffler System Utilizing Destructive Interference by Difference of Transmission Paths)

  • A new active muffler system has been developed and its superior performance on both noise reduction and engine torque increase is demonstrated with experiment. Main characteristic of the proposed muffler system is the use of destructive interference by transmission path difference of divided exhaust pipes to reduce major exhaust noise components thereby overcoming problems of other active exhaust noise control methods. The exhaust pipe is divided into two sections and joined again downstream. One divided pipe has a sliding mechanism to vary its length, which is controlled to make half wavelength transmission path difference for the major engine rpm frequency. In this system one divided pipe is used to control major rpm frequency and its Harmonics and another pipe is used to control noise component double the frequency of rpm. An after-market tuning muffler, which has very simple internal structure and minimal back pressure, is also installed to remove remaining wideband noise. To make the system to be small enough to be practical, conventional muffler is also installed and used in low rpm range and active muffler is only employed in high rpm range. Noise reduction of the proposed system is comparable to conventional passive muffler. The engine dynamo test has proved the proposed system can recover almost all the torque lost by conventional muffler.
