This study shows how the growth of the top part of plants cultivated using the single-row strawberry method, with 12 cm plant spacing, as well as that of plants cultivated through conventional planting, is characterized by the presence of many leaves in the first flower cluster harvest. The leaf area and crown diameter were the largest in the 12 cm spacing method. The hight top fresh weight (59.2 g) was detected wen the 12 cm spacing method was used followed by conventional planting and, 9 cm and 6 cm spacing method. The K and Ca contents in the first flower cluster were the highest when the 12 cm spacing method (2.0% and 2.1%, respectively) and conventional planting, (0.42% and 0.86%, respectively) were used, and these values were significantly higher than the K and Ca contents obtained using the other two methods. The N, P, Mg, Fe, and B contents show no significant differences across the planting methods. The sugar content of the first flower cluster fruits was the highest when the 12 cm spacing method was used, while the sugar content of the fourth flower cluster fruits was highest after conventional planting. Firmness was the highest in the first, third, and fourth flower clusters after conventional planting, while no significant differences were observed for the 6 cm, 9 cm, and 12 cm spacing methods. A yield of 25 g or above during November to December was observed to be the highest when the 12 cm spacing method was used, while a yield of 10-16 g was the highest when both the 9 cm and 12 cm spacing methods werw used. The yield of products in January-April was the highest when the 12 cm spacing and conventional planting methods were used, and total product yield was also the highest for these methods. A significant portion of non-marketable products (39 g) was obtained when the conventional planting method was used.
Temporal bone CT scan side skull fracture. In addition to the confirmation of the ossicles, such as fractures and dislocations, temporomandibular facial fractures, deformities surgery helps to establish a science plan. Cochlear implant surgery has been performed in the state before and after identifying purposes. Test methods are being implemented by the Conventional direct axial and Direct coronal scan, the basic method of Temporal bone CT. Helical scan is a fast Volumetric data obtained compared with the Conventional scan, the patient reduced the dose, and there are some advantages, such as reduced Beam hardening streak artifacts caused by dental fillings. This study is a comparative analysis by dose reduction for patients with a dose according to the conventional scan method and then effective from 2015 by helical scan method performed in 2014 through the retrospective survey, which was then optimized for the purpose of inspection.
Purpose: This study was to evaluate effectiveness of the modified position in scapular AP (anteriopo-sterior) projection. Materials and Methods: From June 2012 to July 2013, scapular AP projection was examined in 108 patients by use of conventional method and in 40 patients by use of modified method. We compared between conventional method and modified method following variables including sex, age, height, weight, and BMI. We measured and compared distance between lateral border of the scapular and the rib to confirm the separation of the scapular from the lung fields including the ribs. Results: The scapular AP projection was technically successful in all patients. There was no significant difference in patient characteristics including sex, age, height, weight, and BMI between conventional method and modified method. The mean distance between lateral border of the scapular and rib in conventional method and modified method was 15.09 mm and 26.33 mm, respectively. Modified method was significantly increased the distance between lateral border of the scapular and rib compared with conventional method (P < .01). Conclusion: The modified position in scapular AP projection was effective method to separate between the scapular and lung fields including the ribs compared with conventional position of scapular AP projection.

We implemented the Moxa-Extract Moxibustion Method in order to improve the conventional moxibustion therapy. This method is aimed to eliminate burning wounds and smoke, which are the defects of conventional moxibustion therapy. And we performed to verify the efficiency by comparing the Moxa-Extract Moxibustion Method with the conventional Indirect Moxibustion Method. We measured the body heat and the lasting time of blood circulation improvement using thermography. Methods : The moxibustion therapy has two kinds of effects: The formers are pharmacological effects of the Moxa's vasodilators and antioxidants. The latters are thermal effects which cause improvement of the blood circulation. To remove the demerits without omission of above therapeutic effects, we extracted the vasodilators and antioxidant compounds from the Moxa-CH2Cl2 fraction Moxa-EtOA and composed the moxibustion kit with (Ba0.8 Sr0.2)0.996 Y0.004 TiO2 + 0.5WT SiO2% positive Temperature Coefficients Thermistor. The experimental demonstrations have been made by the stimulating the spot which is CV4(Kwan-Won), CV8(Shin-Guel), CV12(Jung-Wan) acupuncture points of the conception vessel meridian(CV). And stimulating time was one hour. We divided the subjects into 5 groups such as no stimulation group, conventional Indirect Moxibustion group, only Moxa-Extract stimulation group, only heat stimulation group, and Moxa-Extract Moxibustion group. In the different cases, we have measured the body heat in pre-stimulation, just after stimulation, 2 hours after, and 4 hours after. Results : he body heats of the group who were stimulated by the Moxa-Extract Moxibustion method were increased by over the $2^{\circ}C$. And the body heats of the group who were stimulated by the Indirect Moxibustion Method were increased by average the $1^{\circ}C$. We have evaluated that the Moxa-Extract Moxibustion Method is improvement on the Indirect Moxibustion Method by the increasing rate is 200% and increasing time is 150% with the body heat of the abdominal region. Conclusion : We have implemented the Moxa-Extract Moxibustion Method and evaluated the efficiency of the Moxa-Extract Moxibustion Method comparing with the Indirect Moxibustion Method.
Three new classification methods for multi temporal images are proposed. They are named as a likelihood addition method, a likelihood majority method and a Dempster-Shafer's rule method. Basic strategies using these methods are to calculate likelihoods for each temporal data and to combine obtained likelihoods for final classification. These three methods use different combining algorithms. From classification experiments, following results were obtained. The method based on Dempster-Shafer's rule of combination showed about 12% improvement of classification accuracies compared to a conventional method. This method needed about 16% more processing times than that of a conventional method. The other two proposed method showed 1% to 5% increase of classification accuracies. However processing times of these two proposed method showed 1% to 5% increase of classification accuracies. However processing times of these two methods are almost the same with that of a conventional method. Among the newly proposed three methods, the Dempster-Shafer's rule method showed the highest classification accuracies with more processing time than those of other methods.

The practiced conventional methods for maintenance management in Malaysian Polytechnic faced many issues due to poor service delivery, inadequate finance, poor maintenance plan and maintenance backlogs. The purpose of this study is to improve the conventional method practices which tend to be ineffective in Malaysian Polytechnic. The case studies were conducted with eight Polytechnics and are selected based on conventional method practices and its major problems. There are around 32 Polytechnics in Malaysia and almost are using conventional methods. The number is considered very big indicating that the use of modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is still very limited compared to other institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. The overall findings of this research indicated; poor service delivery, inadequate financial, poor maintenance planning and maintenance backlogs. There is also need to overcome less man power competencies of maintenance management practices which existed with all eight Polytechnics. The proposed system is intended to be used for maintenance management practices at Malaysian Polytechnics in order to provide high-quality of building facility with safe and healthy environments.
In this study we present a new improved nonlinear calibration method for vector magnetograms made by the Solar Flare Telescope of BOAO. To identify Fe I 6302.5 line, we have scanned monochromatic images of the line integrated over filter passband, changing the location of the central transmission wavelength of a Lyot filter. Then we obtained a filter-convolved line profile, which is in good agreement with spectral atlas data provided by the Sacramento Peak Solar Observatory. The line profile has been used to derive calibration coefficients of longitudinal and transverse fields, employing the conventional line slope method under the weak field approximation. Our improved nonlinear calibration method has also been used to calculate theoretical Stokes polarization signals with various angles of inclination of magnetic fields. For its numerical test, we have compared input magnetic fields with the calibrated ones, which have been derived from the new improved non-linear method and the conventional method respectively. The numerical test shows that the calibrated fields obtained from the improved method are consistent with the input fields, but not with those from the conventional method. Finally, we applied our new improved method to a dipole model which characterizes a typical field configuration of a single, round sunspot. It is noted that the conventional method remarkably underestimates the transverse field component near the inner penumbra.

This study was carried out to investigate the applicability of the conventional design method for ground supported circular cylindrical shell structures. For this purpose, the ensiled farm silo was adopted as a model structures. Herein, the conventional design method was based on the assumption that such structures are clamped at the bottom edges or the ground pressure is independent of the deflection at the surface. In the present paper, the applicability of above assumption was checked out by comparison with an exact method considering soil-structure interaction. Some results of numerical calculation show us ; When the ground is very hard, for example Winkler's constant k is larger than 100 kg / cm$^2$ / cm, or the bottom plate of structures has a infinitely stiffness, for example the bottom plate thickness is larger than 100 cm, the sectional forces, obtained from the conventional method at any wall of structures resting on an elastic foundation, can used for design purpose. Therefore, if the above condition is satisfied then the conventional assumptions can be justified for the design purpose. In this case, the assumption that such structures are fixed at the lower edges was more realistic than the assumption that the reaction pressure acting on structures is uniformly disributed since the accuracy of results of the analysis by the former assumption was higher than that obtained from the latter assumption. But the sectional forces in the bottom plate resting on ground directly could not be evaluate correctly by the conventional method.
The adsorption of water vapor and equilibrium moisture content(EMC) of the specimens for four softwood species dried by conventional- and high temperature method and equilibrated to 15% of the target EMC condition at 25$^{\circ}C$ were determined by oven drying method and with moisture meters. The amount of adsorption for high temperature dried red pine was significantly higher than that of conventional kiln dried wood, while those of eastern white pine, eastern hemlock and Norway spruce were not significantly different between drying methods. EMCs of these four species determined by oven drying method and with capacitive admittance moisture meter were not significantly different between drying methods. EMC of high temperature dried red pine determined with resistance moisture meter was significantly higher than that of conventional kiln dried wood. But EMCs of other species did not show significant difference between drying methods. EMCs of conventional and high-temperature dried wood determined with electronic moisture meters, especially in the case of the capacitive-admittance moisture meter measurement, were lower than that determined by oven drying method.

In this paper, a method for designing an optimal weight function for the weighted cepstral distance measure is proposed. A conventional weight function or cepstral lifter is obtained eperimentally depending on the spectral components to be emphasized. The proposed method minimizes the error between word reference patterns and the traning data. To compare the proposed optimal weight function with conventional function, speech recognition systems based on Dpynamic Time Warping and Hidden Markov Models were constructed to conduct speaker independent isolated word necogination eperiment. Results show that the proposed method gives better performance than conventional weight functions.
