정밀 오일냉각기의 오일온도 제어오차에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Oil Temperature Control Errors of Precision Oil Coolers)

  • The Oil Coolers is very important unit for the stable thermal performance in machine tools, semiconductor equipments and high precision measuring systems. To select a proper oil cooler for the temperature control of core unit in a machine, not only cooling ability but also static and dynamic sensitivity of temperature sensors are considered. In this paper, the relationship between cooling ability and inflow oil temperature is identified. The cooling ability is increased with the increase of inflow oil temperature. The oil temperature control errors of a cooler are influenced by mainly sensitivity of temperature sensors and heating velocity in a machine. The validity of error cause analysis for temperature control is proved by real cooling experiments with inflow and outflow temperature sensors.

경락마사지가 영아의 성장과 수면 및 어머니의 민감성과 역할수행 자신감에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Meridian Massage on Both Growth and Sleep in Infants and Mothering Role Confidence and Sensitivity)

  • Purpose: This study was to done to develop a nursing intervention, Meridian massage and to investigate its effects on the infants' growth and sleep of infants and on role confidence and sensitivity in their mothers. Method: This study used a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized quasi experimental. Infants and mothers from Y health center were assigned to an experimental group (17) and control group (14). Meridian massage was given to infants by their mothers. Data were collected from August 11, 2005 to February 24, 2006. Infants in the experimental group had Meridian massage for 15 min per time, three times a week for 3 weeks. Result: Regarding growth, infants in the experimental group showed a statistical significant increase in weight and height compared to those in the control group. Sleeping well was also significant for infants in the experimental group compare to those in the control group. There was no signifiant difference in confidence in mothering role between the two groups. Sensitivity for the mothering role was significantly higher for mothers of infants in the experimental group compare to those in the control group. Conclusion: Meridian massage is an effective nursing intervention in improving infant growth and maternal-infant interaction.

  • In this paper, a 3D shape optimization algorithm which guarantees a smooth optimal shape is presented using parameterized sensitivity analysis. The design surface is parameterized using Bezier spline and B-spline, and the control points of the spline are taken as the design variables. The parameterized sensitivity for the control points are found from that for nodal points. The design sensitivity and adjoint variable formulae are also derived for the 3D non-linear problems. Through an application to the shape optimization of 3D electromagnet to get a uniform magnetic field, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is shown.

Critical Short Circuit Ratio Analysis on DFIG Wind Farm with Vector Power Control and Synchronized Control

  • The introduction of renewable energy sources into the AC grid can change and weaken the strength of the grid, which will in turn affect the stability and robustness of the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) wind farm. When integrated with weak grids, the DFIG wind turbine with vector power control often suffers from poor performance and robustness, while the DFIG wind turbine with synchronized control provides better stability. This paper investigates the critical short circuit ratios of DFIG wind turbine with vector power control and synchronized control, to analyze the stability boundary of the DFIG wind turbine. Frequency domain methods based on sensitivity and complementary sensitivity of transfer matrix are used to investigate the stability boundary conditions. The critical capacity of DFIG wind farm with conventional vector power control at a certain point of common coupling (PCC) is obtained and is further increased by employing synchronized control properly. The stability boundary is validated by electromagnetic transient simulation of an offshore wind farm connected to a real regional grid.

  • In ship operation the consequence of roll and pitchingmotion can seriously degrade the performance of mechanical and personnel effectiveness. So many studies for the roll stabilization and trimming control system design have been performed and good results have been achieved where the stabilizing fins, tanks, rudders and flaps are used. However the ultimate objective of such approach should be focused on improving the boarding sensitivity. But there may exist many unsolved problems, for examples, ship control performance degradation and increasing of system complexity. So, the achieved control performance could not give us enough comfortable boarding sensitivity where the residual rolling and pitching motion are main drawbacks. To get rid of these disadvantages, the main hull control systems design approach has been considered using semiactive absorber. In this system, dampers, spring, dynamic dampers and control system with sensors are incorporated. In our system considered in this study, just two motors and control system with sensors are used for the bed. And the control system can be installed on each bed. So, we can control every bed on the specified control objective respectively. Above all, the good advantages of this system are the facts followed from simple idea and usefulness. Of course the structural modifications are needed. Considering disturbances, we design control system and verify the usefulness of developed system from the experimental study.

  • In this paper, the design sensitivity formula for the control of the transient temperature distribution is developed using the direct differentiation method, and used for the optimal design of induction heating coil position. The temperature distribution is calculated using the heat source of the induced eddy current and heat diffusion equation. The physical property variations of the workpiece depending on the temperature are considered. The eddy current distribution and the temperature distribution are calculated with the 2D finite element procedure. The adjoint variable technique is employed in expressing the design sensitivity. The goal of the design is to have the desired distribution of the temperature on a specific region of the sensitivity. 중학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향: 거부민감성과 우정관계 질투의 매개효과 (The influence of parental psychological control perceived by middle school students on relational aggression: The mediating effect of rejection sensitivity and friendship jealousy)

  • 본 연구는 부모의 심리적 통제가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향과 그 과정에서 거부민감성과 우정관계 질투가 매개하는지 확인해보고자 하였다. 이를 확인하기 위해 대구·경북 소재 중학교에 재학 중인 청소년 556명(여학생 318명, 남학생 238명)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 부모의 심리적 통제가 중학생 자녀의 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 거부민감성과 우정관계 질투가 순차적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 부모의 심리적 통제로 확립된 자녀의 거부민감성이 우정관계 질투를 증가시킴으로써 관계적 공격성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 경로 차이를 살펴보기 위해 다집단 분석을 실시한 결과, 부모의 심리적 통제에서 거부민감성으로 가는 경로, 부모의 심리적 통제에서 관계적 공격성으로 가는 경로, 우정관계 질투에서 관계적 공격성으로 가는 경로에서 성차가 나타났다. 본 연구는 부모의 심리적 통제가 중학생 자녀의 관계적 공격성에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 성별을 비교하여 차별화된 결과를 통해 관계적 공격성에 대한 이해를 확장시키고 치료적 개입방향을 모색하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

  • In this paper, we propose a robust control technique against parameter uncertainties as well as external disturbances. It is robust control scheme using discrete-time state space disturbance observer. It does not require disturbance modeling, plant inverse modeling and/or Q filter. In frequency domain, its performance is evaluated in terms of sensitivity and complementary sensitivity as well as gain and phase margin. Finally we discuss design criterion of state space disturbance observer considering its performance in frequency domain.

The Role of Cognitive Control in Tinnitus and Its Relation to Speech-in-Noise Performance

  • Self-reported difficulties in speech-in-noise (SiN) recognition are common among tinnitus patients. Whereas hearing impairment that usually co-occurs with tinnitus can explain such difficulties, recent studies suggest that tinnitus patients with normal hearing sensitivity still show decreased SiN understanding, indicating that SiN difficulties cannot be solely attributed to changes in hearing sensitivity. In fact, cognitive control, which refers to a variety of top-down processes that human beings use to complete their daily tasks, has been shown to be critical for SiN recognition, as well as the key to understand cognitive inefficiencies caused by tinnitus. In this article, we review studies investigating the association between tinnitus and cognitive control using behavioral and brain imaging assessments, as well as those examining the effect of tinnitus on SiN recognition. In addition, three factors that can affect cognitive control in tinnitus patients, including hearing sensitivity, age, and severity of tinnitus, are discussed to elucidate the association among tinnitus, cognitive control, and SiN recognition. Although a possible central or cognitive involvement has always been postulated in the observed SiN impairments in tinnitus patients, there is as yet no direct evidence to underpin this assumption, as few studies have addressed both SiN performance and cognitive control in one tinnitus cohort. Future studies should aim at incorporating SiN tests with various subjective and objective methods that evaluate cognitive performance to better understand the relationship between SiN difficulties and cognitive control in tinnitus patients.

The optimization of ELISA for methamphetamine determination : the effect of immunogen, tracer and antibody purification method on the sensitivity

  • To obtain more sensitive immunoassay for methamphetamine (MA) determination, the optimum condition of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was investigated in regard to immunogens, antibody purification methods and coating tracers. Activated MA, N-(4-aminobutyl)methamphetamine (4-ABMA), was conjugated with bovine serum albumin (BSA) or keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) and used as immunogen. The antibodies were purified by protein G chromatography or various immunoaffinity chromatography-linked MA-protein ligands, such as MA-BSA, MA-KLH or MA-ovalbumin (OVA). Each purified antibody was characterized by means of sensitivity and cross-reactivity using the three MA-protein coating tracers, MA-BSA, MA-KLH and MA-OVA. The best sensitivity of each antibody was acquired with the MA-OVA tracer although the tracer concentration and the antibody titer level at optimum condition were varied. The antibody with high titer level did not always yield good sensitivity. At optimum condition, immunoaffinity chromatography-purified antibodies were better for sensitivity and for specificity than protein G-purified antibodies. The cross-reactivity of the purified antibodies seemed to be affected by immunogen structure and showed somewhat different patterns according to the immunoaffinity ligand utilized. These data show that the antibody purification method as well as choice of coating tracer and immunogen is essential for the sensitivity and specificity of EIA; the optimum condition for assay should be discovered using various methods and combinations.
