아로마 요법이 본태성 고혈압 환자의 자율신경계 변화, 대동맥 맥파 전달속도 및 대동맥 파형증폭에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Aromatherapy on Changes in the Autonomic Nervous System, Aortic Pulse Wave Velocity and Aortic Augmentation Index in Patients with Essential Hypertension)

  • Purpose: To investigate the effectiveness of aromatherapy on blood pressure, heart rate variability, aortic pulse wave velocity and the aortic augmentation index of essential hypertensive patients. Methods: Using a coin toss, 22 participants were assigned to the experimental group and 20 to the control. The experimental group was given a blend of oils of lemon (Citrus limonum), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), and ylang ylang (Cananga odorata) which were prepared in the ratio of 2:2:1, respectively. The control group was given an artificial lemon fragrance of Limonene (35 cc) and Citral (15 cc) mixture. The experiment, inhalation, was conducted for 3 weeks (2 min per inhalation, 2 times per day) to both groups. Results: There was a noticeable difference in systolic blood pressure between the groups (p=.001), however the difference in diastolic blood pressure between the two groups was not significant. There was a notable difference in sympathetic nerve system activity of heart rate variability (p=.047). However, the differences in aortic pulse wave velocity or the aortic augmentation index were not significant. Conclusion: Aromatherapy is effective in lowering systolic blood pressure and sympathetic nerve system activity.

소형무인기 상용 안정성 증대 장치 로직 추정과 검증 (Estimation and Verification of Commercial Stability Augmentation System Logic for Small UAV)

  • 회전익 항공기는 기체 자체로는 불안정하기 때문에 안정적인 운영을 위해서는 flybar와 같은 안전장치가 필요하다. 최근에는 센서 기술이 발달하여, flybar 대신 기체의 안정성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 안정성 증대 장치(SAS : Stability Augmentations System)를 사용하고 있다. 안정성 증대 장치가 포함된 회전익 항공기를 무인으로 활용하기 위해서는 안정성 증대 장치 기능을 포함한 비행제어 컴퓨터가 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 역 설계를 활용하여 상용 안전성 증대 장치의 알고리즘을 예측하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 비행제어컴퓨터에 활용하여 무인회전익 시스템을 만드는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 알고리즘을 검증하기 위해 상용 안정성 증대 장치의 출력과 개발한 알고리즘의 출력 비교하였다. 최종적으로 검증된 알고리즘을 활용하여 자동 비행이 가능한 무인 회전익 시스템을 체계를 구축하였다.

Control-structure interaction in piezoelectric deformable mirrors for adaptive optics

  • This paper discusses the shape control of deformable mirrors for Adaptive Optics in the dynamic range. The phenomenon of control-structure interaction appears when the mirror becomes large, lowering the natural frequencies $f_i$, and the control bandwidth $f_c$ increases to improve the performance, so that the condition $f_c{\ll}f_i$ is no longer satisfied. In this case, the control system tends to amplify the response of the flexible modes and the system may become unstable. The main parameters controlling the phenomenon are the frequency ratio $f_c/f_i$ and the structural damping ${\zeta}$. Robustness tests are developed which allow to evaluate a lower bound of the stability margin. Various passive and active strategies for damping augmentation are proposed and tested in simulation.

  • In this paper, dynamic modeling and adaptive control problems for a space robot system are discussed. The space robot consist of a robot manipulator mounted on a free-floating base where no attitude control is applied. Using an extended robot model, the entire space robot can be viewed as an under-actuated robot system. Based on nonlinear control theory, the extended space robot model can then be decomposed into two subsystems: one is input-output exactly linearizable, and the other is unlinearizable and represents an internal dynamics. With this decomposition, a normal form-augmentation approach and an augmented state-feedback control are proposed to facilitate the design of adaptive control for the space robot system against parameter uncertainty, unknown dynamics and unmodeled payload in space applications. We demonstrate that under certain conditions, the entire space robot can be represented as a full-actuated robot system to avoid the inclusion of internal dynamics. Based on the dynamic model, we propose an adaptive control scheme using Cartesian space representation and demonstrate its validity and design procedure by a simulation study.

Object-Transportation Control of Cooperative AGV Systems Based on Virtual-Passivity Decentralized Control Algorithm

  • Automatic guided vehicle in the factory has an important role to advance the flexible manufacturing system. In this paper, we propose a novel object-transportation control algorithm of cooperative AGV systems to apply decentralized control to multiple AGV systems. Each AGV system is under nonholonomic constraints and conveys a common object-transportation in a horizontal plain. Moreover it is shown that cooperative robot systems ensure stability and the velocities of augmented systems convergence to a scaled multiple of each desired velocity field for cooperative AGV systems. Finally, the application of proposed virtual passivity-based decentralized control algorithm via system augmentation is applied to trace a circle. Finally, the simulation and experimental results for the object-transportation by two AGV systems illustrates the validity of the proposed virtual-passivity decentralized control algorithm.

  • KARI had developed an Local Area Augmentation System for aircraft precision landing as following ICAO SARPs(Standards and Recommended Practices) draft and FAA's recommended algorithm( carrier smoothing techniques). JPO in charge of managing GPS has introduced the signal structure of GPS modernization program. This paper estimates the accuracy performance of KARI-LAAS with modernized GPS signal but the same processing algorithm.

청감실험을 통한 철도소음의 자율신경 및 심혈관계통 영향도 연구 (The Research of Railway Noise through Auditory Experiments Focused on the Autonomic Nervous System and Cardiovascular System)

  • According to the conventional studies on the noise and cardiovascular effect, railway noise is better associated with hypertension and adverse cardiovascular events than road traffic noise. But the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. We investigated the hypothesis that exposure to acute railway noise would the unfavorable effect of cardiovascular and autonomic system in healthy young subjects. Using a randomized, sham-controlled cross-over design, ten subjects were assigned to receive either an exposure to high speed train noise (84 dB) for 30 minutes or a control condition (non noise), separated by two days. Blood pressure, heart rate, augmentation index and heart rate variability as indices of cardiovascular and autonomic system function were measured at baseline, during, and recovery from two trials. The results show that exposure to acute railway noise significantly increased diastolic blood pressure and augmentation index, which may cause of adverse cardiovascular effects.

데이터 증강 학습 이용한 딥러닝 기반 실시간 화재경보 시스템 구현 (Implementation of a Deep Learning based Realtime Fire Alarm System using a Data Augmentation)

  • 본 논문에서는 딥러닝을 이용하여 실시간 화재경보 시스템을 구현하는 방법을 제안한다. 화재경보를 위한 딥러닝 학습 이미지 데이터셋은 인터넷을 통하여 1500장을 취득하였다. 일상적인 환경에서 취득된 다양한 이미지를 그대로 학습하게 되면 학습 정확도가 높지 않은 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 학습 정확도 향상을 위해 화재 이미지 데이터 확장 방법을 제안한다. 데이터증강 방법은 밝기 조절, 블러링, 불꽃사진 합성을 이용해 학습 데이터 600장을 추가해 총 2100장을 학습했다. 불꽃 이미지 합성방법을 이용하여 확장된 데이터는 정확도 향상에 큰 영향을 주었다. 실시간 화재탐지 시스템은 영상 데이터에 딥러닝을 적용하여 화재를 탐지하고 사용자에게 알림을 전송하는 시스템이다. Edge AI시스템에 적합한 YOLO V4 TINY 모델을 custom 학습한 모델을 이용해 실시간으로 영상을 분석해 화재를 탐지하고 그 결과를 사용자에게 알리는 웹을 개발하였다. 제안한 데이터를 사용하였을 때 기존 방법에 비하여 약 10%의 정확도 향상을 얻을 수 있다.
