  • Control technology has been making remarkable progress in electrical control (E), instrumentation & control (I) and computer control (C) field respectively. In order to rationalize system engineering and simplify system configuration and operation work, so called, EIC are now to be integrated into one system. FUJI has developed it's own E, I&C integrated system, to meet above mentioned market requirements of variety. This paper describes basic concept of FUJI's Integrated Man-Machine Interface, hereinafter called SINGLE CONSOLE, from some view points of E, I, C integration technology.

  • Fault tolerant control algorithm fer heteropolar magnetic bearings are presented. This fault tolerant control utilizes grouping of currents as C-cores in order to isolate magnetic fluxes. Hardware requirements to maintain fault tolerant control are reduced since decoupling chokes are not required in this control scheme. The currents supplied to each pole are redistributed, if some coils (ail suddenly, such that the resultant magnetic forces should remain invariant through coil failure events. (omitted)

  • The Tester of Autonomous station control system is a system which can test the main function of Autonomous station control system through the data field. The purpose of this paper is to meet the system requirements and design a main function, menu and user interface using Use-case. The main function is a time-deadline test, a schedule broadcast test, a route control test and a version-up test, etc. The design of Autonomous station control system tester plays a primary role of the important document for the upcoming future system development of the tester.

  • 본 연구는 '시뮬레이션 기반 비상대비 정부연습'의 통제체제에 관한 연구로서 계획·준비·실시 및 사후조치 각 단계에 요구되는 주요 통제요소와 그 운영개념을 제공한다. 이를 위해 기존 정부연습의 통제체제와 군사연습과 재난연습의 시뮬레이션 모의통제를 고찰하여 '시뮬레이션 정부연습'의 통제요소를 도출하고 그 운용개념을 제시하였다. 연구 결과 주요 내용은 시뮬레이션 기반의 연습계획과 연습각본, 모의모델과 타 모델과의 연동, 모의통제소와 기관별 워크스테이션(WS) 구성, DB 관리, 통제 및 평가단 운영 등에 관한 방향이다. 이것은 '시뮬레이션 정부연습'에 요구되는 모든 통제요소가 아닌 주요 통제요소로 한정하였고, 제시한 일부 통제요소의 구체적 시행방안은 제시하지 못한 한계점을 갖고 있다. 이것은 추후 연구과제로 제시하였다. 본 연구는 향후 '시뮬레이션 정부연습'의 통제체제 발전과 조기 정착을 촉진할 것이다.

  • 직접구동형 서보밸브의 제어시스템은 비선형적이며 밸브스풀에 미치는 유체력의 영향은 매우 크고 부하압력의 크기에 좌우된다. 제어시스템의 설계요구조건을 만족시키기 위해, 제약직접탐색방법인 유전자 알고리즘과 콤플렉스법을 적절히 활용하여 진상-지상제어기 및 미분피드백제어기의 최적 상수값을 탐색하였다. 최적 제어기 상수값을 대입하여 제어시스템을 시뮬레이션한 결과 설계요구조건을 만족하였다.

  • Network-based real-time multimedia applications require guaranteed performances of communication service. Also according to increased bandwidth and processing performance in the future high speed networks, it is possible to make multimedia real-time applications such as distributed real-time applications including video conference, medical imaging, and video education. These applications have characteristics of stringent performance requirements in terms of delay, delay jitter and maximum loss rate. This paper proposes a new delay control for Broadband networks with FCFS queueing. The delay control provides an alternative solution to a current problem in real-time communication; traffic distortion, which makes it difficult to meet such real-time requirements. In simulations, it shows that the proposed delay control can guarantee local and end-to-end delay.

  • This paper presents an optimally designed master device mechanism for teleoperated interventional robotic system. The interventional procedures using the teleoperated robotic system and the physicians' requirements are summarized. The master device should implement 5-DOF motion including 2-DOF translational motion for the entry position control, 2-DOF rotational motion for the orientation control, and 1- DOF translational motion for needle insertion. The handle assembly includes a 1-DOF translational mechanism for needle insertion and buttons for operation mode selection. The mechanisms for the 2-DOF translational motion and the 2-DOF rotational motion are designed using motors and brakes based on the various mechanisms to satisfy all the above requirements, respectively. Absolute position sensors are adopted to implement automatic initial positioning and orientation matching at the first step of needle insertion.

Advanced Resource Management with Access Control for Multitenant Hadoop

  • Multitenancy has gained growing importance with the development and evolution of cloud computing technology. In a multitenant environment, multiple tenants with different demands can share a variety of computing resources (e.g., CPU, memory, storage, network, and data) within a single system, while each tenant remains logically isolated. This useful multitenancy concept offers highly efficient, and cost-effective systems without wasting computing resources to enterprises requiring similar environments for data processing and management. In this paper, we propose a novel approach supporting multitenancy features for Apache Hadoop, a large scale distributed system commonly used for processing big data. We first analyze the Hadoop framework focusing on "yet another resource negotiator (YARN)", which is responsible for managing resources, application runtime, and access control in the latest version of Hadoop. We then define the problems for supporting multitenancy and formally derive the requirements to solve these problems. Based on these requirements, we design the details of multitenant Hadoop. We also present experimental results to validate the data access control and to evaluate the performance enhancement of multitenant Hadoop.

GPS 반송파 위상을 이용한 정밀 자세 측정 (Precise attitude determination using GPS carrier phase measurements)

  • With GPS carrier phase measurements from more than two antenna which attached to the vehicle, precise attitude can be easily obtained if the integer ambiguity included in carrier phase measurement is resolved. Recently some special products which use dual frequencies or has one receiver engine with multiple antenna are announced. But there are still strong requirements for the conventional single frequency off-the-shelf receiver. To meet these requirements, an efficient integer ambiguity resolution technique is indispensable. In this paper, a new technique to resolve integer imbiguity with single frequency receivers is proposed. The proposed method utilize the known baseline length as a constraint of independent elements of integer ambiguities. With this constraints, the size of search volume can be greatly reduced. Thus the true integer ambiguity can be easily determined with less computational burden and number of measurements. The proposed method is applied to real data to show its effectiveness.
