An airship is statically unstable, because it has no wing, comparatively small tail and large hull. Hence, an accurate prediction of dynamic stability is critical. In this study, dynamic stability data of the Mid-Size Airship is acquired through forced oscillation wind tests. The test was done in BAR LAMP which is Birhle Applied Research Inc's facility located in Germany. The test was composed with 16 static runs and 26 dynamic runs. As a result, dynamic characteristics of the airship depends on sideslip angle, angular rate and its direction as well as angle of attack. Generally, it is obtained that 3 directional moments have damping, but normal force, side force, and cross-derivatives are unstable. The dynamic derivatives are not sensitive to control surfaces, but have nonlinear dependency on sideslip angle.
Taxiods inclusive paclitaxel were produced isolated and purified from plant cell cultures of Taxus chinensis in large-scale process. their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses. These compounds were exactly identical as those in previous studies from the other biomasses of Taxus chinensis and also other species. Also the concentrations of these compounds were compared with the concentration of the paclitaxel in various batches of plant cell cultures. As paclitaxel concentration increased at the end of cell cultures. the concentrations of the other paclitaxel derivatives decreased. The profile of these taxoids production can provide information for better understanding of structure-activity relationships and biosynthesis Importantly it can be utilized as an useful parameter for the quality control of paclitaxel production.
Organosulfur compounds have been shown to exert an anti-cancer activity. In an attempt to develop novel chemopreventive and anti-cancer agents for liver cancer, we synthesized allylthiopyridazine derivatives. We have previously shown that allylthiopyridazine derivatives exert inhibitory effects on proliferation, invasion and migration of SK-Hep-1 hepatocarcinoma cells in vitro. The in vivo anti-tumor effect of 3-methvl-6-allylthiopy-ridazine, named as K6, was also reported. In this study, we further investigated the preclinical anti-cancer efficacy of K6 for hepatocarcinoma using nude mice xenografted with Hep-G2 hepatocellular carcinoma cells. K6(20-100 mg/kg, orally administered everyday for 30 days) markedly decreased the tumor volume of Hep-G2 cell-transplanted nude mice as evidenced by ultrasonographic and plethysmogranhic analyses. The inhibitory effect on tumor volume was lower than that exerted by doxorubicin (2 mg/kg), intravenously injected) which was used as a positive control. This study shows that K6 efficiently suppresses xenograft tumor growth, revealing K6 as apotential anti-cancer agent for suppressing in vivo progression of liver cancer. Given that hepatocarcinoma is among the most prevalent and lethal malignancies and there is no effective treatment to date, our study may contribute to the potential drug development for liver cancer.
Objectives : Cynanchum wilfordii(Asclepiadaceae) has been traditionally used as a tonic, the prevention and treatment of various geriatric diseases in Korea. Acetophenone derivatives from C. wilfordii showed neuroprotective activity. In this study, two acetophenones were isolated and quantitative determination of acetophenones from C. wilfordii has been developed for quality stand. Methods : Three acetophenone derivatives were isolated from methanol extract of C. willfordii by the chromatographic separation. Their structures were identified as cynandione A, 2,5-dihydroxy acetophenone and cynanchone A on the basis of spectral data(MS, $^1H-NMR$, $^{13}C-NMR$) and chemical analysis. HPLC analysis was performed to determine the contents of cynandione A and 2,5-dihydroxyacetophenone in C. wilfordii. Results : According to the results, the contents of cynandione A and 2,5- dihydroxyacetophenone were 0.274%, 0.035% by HPLC, respectively. Conclusions : In these results, we have determined the contents of cynandione A and 2,5-dihydroxyacetophenone in Cynanchum wilfordii, respectively. We hope that this study will contribute to the standardization and quality control of herbal medicine.

[1,2,4]-Triazole derivatives were synthesized by 5 steps. Benzimidazole was refluxed with ethyl chloroacetate to give 1H-benzimidazole-acetic acid ethyl ester (1) over 52% yield. Ester (1) was refluxed with hydrazine hydrate in the presence of ethanol to afford 1H-benzimidazole-1-acetic acid, hydrazide (2). 5-Benzoimidazol-1-ylmethyl-4H-[1,2,4]triazole-3-thiol (4) was made via coupling of compound (2) with methyl isothiocyanate, followed by cyclization of 1H-benzimidazole-1-acetic acid, 2-[(methylamino) thioxomethyl]hydrazide (3) on reflux, and finally the target compounds (6a-6v) were synthesized by general substitution reaction. Compounds (6a-6v) were screened for T-type calcium channel blocker using the fluorescence assay by FDSS6000. All compounds (6a-6v) did not show better activities than control compound, mibefradil.

This paper presents the analysis of the flight test data measured by the sensors installed on a four-seat canard aircraft. The inherent stall proof characteristics of canard aircraft was verified from the stall test. The dihedral effect, adverse yaw and roll control power were examined and the neutral point that determines the longitudinal stability of the aircraft was investigated. The dynamic characteristics such as dutch roll mode were also examined. Without relying on the parameter identification method, the aerodynamic derivatives or the relations between the aerodynamic derivatives were obtained by analyzing the steady state flight data.
We have performed FlexX docking experiments to predict the best docking poses of 5-androst-16-en-3-ol or 5-androst-16-en-3-one to Boar salivary lipocalin (SAL). Since no steroids were found inside of the binding pocket of the X-ray structure of 1GM6, we tried to find docking structures after opening the pocket using the random tweak option implemented in SYBYL. This operation allowed the ligand to enter the pocket. The best poses generated from FlexX were different from the structures reported earlier, which calculated docking poses by manual docking followed by minimization. Analysis of docking poses allowed us to identify pharmacophores. From this information, virtual screening experiments using UNITY were performed. Among six candidates, 3-(3,7-dimethyloct-6-enylamino)propane-1,2-diol (Leadquest code name: 5755) was chosen for further development. Future work will involve synthesis of some derivatives of 5755 and biological experiments if any derivatives can control the biostimulation and improve reproductive efficiency in pigs.
In cancer chemotherapy, it is necessary to control the phamacokinetic behavior of an antitumor drug for effective treatment. Therefore, two 5-fluorouracil derivatives synthesize d with N-a-cyloxycarbonyl derivatives {1-(N-t-butyloxycarbonyl)leucyloxymethyl-5-FU(BLFU) and 1-(N-t-carbobenzyloxymethyl)leucyloxymethyl-5-FU(CLFU)}. prodrugs of 5-fluorouracil, antitumor agent, were loaded into liposome of different lipid compositions. After liposomal drugs were injected intramuscularly, their pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution were assessed. The $AUC_{0{\to}{\infty}$ values were 1.29, 72.50, 85.57, 66.40 and 103.60${\mu}$g.hr/ml for 5-FU, BLFU, CLFU, BLFU- and CLFU-loaded liposome, respectively. 5-FU was distributed to spleen and liver with a maximal concentration after 1 hr and eliminated after 24 hr. But both prodrugs and dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine liposome entrapped prodrugs were distributed to spleen and liver at a lower concentration but maintained for a long time with a relatively high concentration in lung. Especially, liposome-entrapped CLFU was distributed to lung with a maximal concentration after 1 hr and redistributed to spleen increasingly, while the concentration of liposome-entrapped BLFU in lung reached a maximal level after 12 hr.
Twenty two new 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) derivatives, 2-butoxy-4-substituted 5-fluoropyrimidines, were synthesized and characterized by IR, $^1H$ NMR, MS, HRMS. All compounds were preliminarily evaluated by MTT assay on human liver BEL-7402 cancer cell line in vitro. Ten compounds were selected to test their cytotoxic activity against A549, HL-60 and MCF-7 cancer cell lines in vitro. These compounds were more sensitive to BEL-7402 than other cell lines, particularly, cytotoxic activity of compounds 6b, 6d-f, 6p, 6s-u were in sub-micromolar scale. The highest cytotoxic potency against A549, HL-60 and MCF-7 was shown by 2-butoxy-4-chloro-5-fluoropyrimidine (5) with $IC_{50}$ values of 0.10, 1.66 and $0.59{\mu}M$, respectively. Compounds 6d and 6e were effective against MCF-7 with $IC_{50}$$9.73{\mu}M$ and HL-60 with $IC_{50}$$8.83{\mu}M$, respectively.
Four protostane-type triterpenes, alisol B 23-acetate (1a), alisol C 23-acetate (2a), alisol B(3a), and alisol A 24-acetate (4a), were isolated from the rhizome of Alismatis plantago-aquatica L. var. orientale Samuelson (Alismataceae) and eleven protostane derivatives (compounds 1-11) were obtained by selective modification from alisol B 23-acetate (1a). These compounds were investigated for their anti-complement activity against the classical pathway of the complement system. Alisol B (3a) and alisol A 24-acetate (4a) exhibited anti-complement activity with $IC_{50} values of 150 and 130 \mu$ M. Among the synthetic derivatives, the tetrahydroxylated protostane triterpene (9) showed moderate inhibitory activity with $IC_{50} value of 97.1 \mu$ M. Introduction of an aldehyde group at C-23 (10; $IC_{50} value, 47.7 \mu$ M) showed the most potent inhibitory effect on the complement system in vitro.
