The involvement of health-care professionals in tobacco-control activities is essential to prevent smoking-related morbidity and mortality. The purposes of this predictive correlational study were to examine tobacco-control activities and to identify the predictors of such activities of community health practitioners (CHPs). Of the 1,813 members of the Korean Association of CHP, 1,247 participated in this study. A mailed survey was conducted to collect data. The majority of CHPs supported tobacco-control policies and recognized tobacco-control activities as an important role for them. Only $44.3\%$ of CHPs were confident in their knowledge and skills regarding tobacco-control activities, and only $30.8\%$ had received professional tobacco-control education. While the majority of the CHPs 'asked, advised, and assessed' their clients, only a small number 'assisted or arranged'. The tobacco-control activities of CHPs were predicted by their attitude toward it, age, experience of tobacco-control education, educational level, and general perception of the risk of smoking; these variables accounted $13.5\%$ of variance in the tobacco-control activities of CHPs. These findings provide the basis for developing a continuing education program for CHPs. CHPs should be encouraged to integrate tobacco-control activities into their routine practice, and CHP education programs should be adjusted to increase the time spent on the tobacco-control intervention techniques.

Hierarchical regression analysis was used to examine the relationship between the perception of patient safety culture and infection control activities. The data was analyzed using the SPSS version 20.0, and p<0.05 was adopted to decide on significance. Results: The longer dental hygienists have worked n the dental settings, the more active they become in infection control activities. Among the different types of dental care settings, general (university) hospitals had the largest number of infection control activities, followed by dental clinics, and network dental clinics, in descending order. The dental settings possessing a higher number of dental hygienists were found to conduct more infection control activities than other dental settings. In addition, it was found that when a dental setting adopts a patient safety policy across all the units in the hospital, more systems and procedures for patient safety tend to be established, and that stricter management response to error leads to improvement of infection control activities. Conclusions:In order to enhance infection control activities, infection control activity programs should develop and implement periodic reinforcement of infection control education. regular monitoring of infection control activities.

Purpose: This study aims to explore the critical factors in the quality control activities of agricultural products in e-commerce companies and analyze how these factors affect customers' perceived value and repurchase intention. Finally, it further reveals the mediating role of perceived value between the factors of quality control activities of agricultural products and customer repurchase intention. Research design, data and methodology: This study identified six independent factors within agricultural product quality control activities: freshness, assurance, diversity, grading, packaging, and timeliness. Subsequently, the impact of these factors on customer repurchase intention was analyzed. Additionally, perceived value was considered as an intermediary variable between the independent and dependent variables. Data was gathered from 269 Chinese consumers who had experience purchasing on agricultural product e-commerce websites. Results: The study results indicate that the relevant factors within agricultural product quality control activities strongly influence customer repurchase intention, with perceived value mediating this relationship. Conclusions: The significance of this study lies in its exploration of the relevant factors within agricultural product e-commerce's product quality control activities. It identifies their impact on customer repurchase intention and confirms the mediating role of perceived value. The results of this research offer valuable insights and practical guidance for academics in related research fields and practitioners in the agricultural product e-commerce industry.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the status of infection control nurses (ICNs) and their activities, and to identify the factors affecting the level of infection control activities. Methods: Data were collected from 199 hospitals from June 24 to July 26, 2016. The structured questionnaires included status of infection control nurses, type and level of infection control activities. Results: Most participating hospital were advanced general hospital (20.1%) and general hospital (67.8%). Among the hospitals, 86.4% had an infection control department (ICD). The average hospital work experience of ICNs was 14.62 years, and their average infection control career was for 4.94 years. Among the ICNs, 85.6% worked in full time and the average number of beds per ICN was 311.21. There were significant differences in the existence of ICD, infection control activities including surveillance, outbreak investigation, negative pressure room, hand hygiene monitoring, disinfection, and sterilization according to hospital size. The level of infection control activities was higher with more number of ICNs, ICN employment as full time, and healthcare institution accreditation status. The explanatory power was 37.5%. Conclusion: These results of this study which reflect infection control status of healthcare facilities with more than 150 beds in 2016 will provide baseline data to establish infection control system in small to medium sized hospitals after the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome outbreak in 2015.
The objective of this study is to analyze control factors in protecting activities of business information that affects the effects of protecting leaks of industrial secretes during business security works in the ranks of staffs. A regression analysis was implemented by 36 items of protecting activities of information and 10 items of preventing industrial secretes for a total of 354 users and managers who use internal information systems in governments, public organizations, and civilian enterprises. In the recognition of protecting activities of business information that affects the prevention of controlling industrial secretes, clerks showed recognitions in physical control, environmental control, and human resource control, and software control and assistant chiefs showed recognitions in hardware control and environmental control. Also, ranks of department managers and higher levels represented recognitions in security control activities. It showed that clerks, assistant chiefs, and above department managers show effects of technical control factors on protecting activities of industrial secretes but section chiefs represent system control factors in preventing industrial secretes.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of science toy making activities on the scientific interest and the conceptual understanding of elementary school students. In this study, science toy making activities were applied to an experimental group and traditional learning activities were applied to the control group. The science toy making activities comprised thirteen steps and were administered during class. In the scientific interest test, there was a statistically significant difference between the score of the experimental group and that of the control group. In particular, post-test scores were higher than pre-test scores in the experimental group, while they were lower than this in the control group. It appeared that students had positive thoughts about science toy making activities. These science toy making activities had positive effects on the conceptual understanding of the experimental group students. The post-test scores of the experimental group were higher than that of the control group in all domain concepts. From these results, it can be deduced that the science toy making activities were more effective than traditional teaming activities. They were an effective teaching technique which enhanced the scientific interests and the conceptual understanding of the students in question.
Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between self-control behavior, social comparison attitude, self-efficacy and health promotion activities of college students who had health related majors (nursing, dental hygiene, health administration). Methods: The subjects consisted of 413 college students. Data were collected by self reported questionnaires that were designed to evaluate self-control behavior, social attitudes, self-efficacy and health promotion lifestyle (HPLP). Data were analyzed using the SPSS/PC win 14.0 program. Results: Upward & parallel comparison, self-efficacy and parents income were positively correlated with health promotion activities by college students. The most significant predictors of health promotion activities for college students were self-efficacy and self-control behavior. Conclusion: Health promotion activities for college students are influenced by self-efficacy, self-control behavior, and upward comparison. In conclusion, to increase the health promotion activities of college students, methods designed to increase self-efficacy should be prepared while considering the self-control behavior and comparative propensity towards others.

A shop floor control system(SFCS), a central part of agile manufacturing, performs the production activities required to fill orders. In order to effectively control these activities, CSCW (computer supported cooperative work) is adopted where a supervisor does not exist. In this paper, we define functional perspective of CSCW-based shop floor control using planning, scheduling, and execution functions. In particular, we focus on an execution model that can coordinate the planning and scheduling functions. Execution can be defined informally as a function that downloads and performs a set of scheduled tasks. Execution is also responsible for identifying and resolving various errors whether they come from hardware or software. The purpose of this research is to identify all the execution activities and solving techniques under the assumptions of CSCW-based heterarchical control architecture. This paper also proposes a classification scheme for execution activities of CSCW-based heterarchical control architecture. Petri-nets are used as a unified framework for modeling and controlling execution activities. For solving the nonexistence of a supervisor, A negotiation-based solution technique is utilized.

Anti-microbial activities of Scutellariae Radix Extracts and Sophora flavecens Extracts was tested by formulation, such as skinsoftener, emulsion for 4 weeks. Control contained no preservative, test group contained 1.00% Scutellariae Radix extracts and 1.00% Sophora flavecens extracts and positive control contained parabens and imidazolidinyl urea. To determine the anti-microbial activity of these extract, the 4 germs such as Escherichia coil, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aures, Canida albicans were used. The test groups showed significant anti-microbial activities against the 4 germs at 2 and 3 weeks as compared with control. Anti-microbial activities of these extracts were similar to positive control. Considering that the Scutellariae Radix Extracts and the Sophora flavecens Extracts have a significant anti-microbial activities against 4 germs, it is possible as natural preservative in cosmetics.
