노인 방문구강건강관리를 위한 치위생 전문교육과정 요구도 (Demand for dental hygiene specialization training courses for visiting oral health care for older individuals)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to examine the opinions of registered dental hygienists (RDH) and dental hygiene students (DHS), professionals who can practice visiting oral health care (VOHC), and the demand for specialized training courses of RDH for VOHC. Methods: Using a Google online survey, 125 RDH and 106 DHS personnel were surveyed on their perception of VOHC and the operation of special training courses. Results: RDH (97.6%) and DHS (96.1%) agreed that they needed VOHC for older people. Moreover, the qualification course for specialized training for VOHC was considered necessary. Regarding the appropriate curriculum, RDH preferred training programs comprising 2-hours classes over 6 months and 15 weeks and so on, and DHS preferred 3 hours classes over 6 months and 15 weeks and so on. Regarding the desired working type, the RDH preferred the half-day system, whereas the DHS preferred the alternate-day system. The Korean Dental Hygienists Association was intended for human resource development. They agreed that continuing education was necessary when working as a visiting RDH, and many responded that they would participate if a specialized training course was opened. Conclusions: RDH and DHS have a high level of awareness of the importance and necessity of VOHC, and consider a specialized training qualification course necessary for efficient VOHC.

  • Nowadays, the whole world is putting in the knowledge information society by the internet which is connecting the global network. The internet enable us to see the life of the other people in real time. Most of health care professional obtain and update their new knowledge and skills through continuing education. EMTs who works five or ten shifts per day are not easy to attend continuing education session usually offered during their off-times. One of solutions to this problem would be to develop a education program which does not limit time and place. There has been increasing interest in the use of computers in medical education, but all designated facilities and teachers have no sufficient preparations for the education and training of EMT. There has been less attention to the rationale for the use and selection of applications. This article discusses an approach to the selection of medical informatics applications for the undergraduate medical curriculum. The aim of this study is to develop and evaluate a web-based continuing education program, to help EMT improve their knowledge of transfusion therapy and medical law, and to enhance their ability to contribute to the quality of patient care. The program generally was well received by EMTs. The program is a useful adjunct to the existing continuing education program. It also could be used in EMT student education and other health sciences.

PEST-3Cs-SWOT 방법론을 적용한 사서 계속교육 기관의 전략과제 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study on Deriving Strategic Tasks of Continuing Education Institutions for Librarians Applying PEST-3Cs-SWOT)

  • 전문직의 계속교육은 지속적인 전문성 능력 향상을 위한 가장 기본적인 요건이다. 사서직의 전문성 제고 또한 국가적 차원의 체계적인 계속교육 전략 수립을 통해 가능할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 사서 계속교육의 중심이 되는 국가 기관의 내외부 환경분석을 통해 국내 사서 계속교육의 전략을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 체계적인 환경분석 방법론으로 PEST-3Cs-SWOT의 복합적 체계를 제시하고, 이를 적용해 보고자 하였다. PEST분석을 위해 도서관, 사서, 사서교육과 관련된 문헌을 광범위하게 검토하였고, 3Cs 분석을 위해 내부 직원의 심층 면접, 교육대상자의 수요조사에 관한 설문데이터 분석, 국내외 유사기관 사례조사 등을 실시하였다. 이를 기반으로 SWOT분석을 실시하였고, 최종적으로 강점-기회 전략과제 4가지, 약점-기회 전략과제 5가지, 강점-위협 전략과제 5가지, 약점-위협 전략과제 3가지를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 국내 사서 계속교육 기관의 전략과제를 제시함과 동시에, 발전계획 및 전략 수립과 유사한 업무에 적용할 만한 복합적인 분석 방법론을 제시·적용하였다는 것에도 의의가 있을 것이다.

의료기관과 심사기관의 심사업무인식도 비교연구 - 종합병원 청구직원과 건강보험심사평가원심사직원을 중심으로 - (A Comparative Study on Awareness of Review Work of Medical Institutions and Review Institutions - Focusing on Insurance Claim Officers at General Hospitals and Review Officers at Health Insurance Review Agency -)

  • This study conducted a comparative analysis of awareness level of review standards, continuing education, and awareness about the need for speciality and educational courses in order to improve quality of Korean health insurance review work and to present directions for policies of personnel development and continuing education to smoothly perform hospital's insurance claim work and Agency's review work. The analysis unit of the study is individuals, and survey was conducted among hospital's claim officers and Agency' review officers by distributing questionnaires. The major results of the study are as follows: First, it is found that hospital's claim officers and Agency's review officers have conflicting awareness about review standards; more Agency's review officers think that current review standards are universal and reasonable, while more hospital's claim officers believe that they need to be revised. Especially, hospital's claim officers replied that it is possible that review results can differ according to government's policies. Second, there is no significant difference between the two groups in the opinion that there are individual differences in awareness level of review standard. In particular, both groups share the opinion that review results can differ according to officer's interpretation of review standards. Third, Both review officer groups feel the need for further training and continuing education. Fourth, there is no difference between the two groups in the opinion that both groups members should be educated in review related educational institutions. However, while 81.5% of Agency's review officers the education should be offered at the Agency, only 45.2% of hospital's claim officers agreed to it. Fifth, both review personnel do not show any difference in awareness of needed experience to successfully perform review work; both groups replied that three to four years experience is necessary to smoothly perform claim work and review work. This study was tried in order to search for directions to improve Korean insurance review work in quality rather than to explore characteristics themselves of individual factors. In this sense, this study presupposed an intention that the educational subjects for further training and continuing education for the two groups should be the same in order to narrow the awareness gap between hospital's claim officers and Agency's review officers. Thus, this study suggests that it is desirable to offer beginner courses at junior colleges or in undergraduate courses and advanced courses in professional graduate school for six to twelve months. In that a comparison of awareness level of hospital's claim officers and Agency's review officers who are actually in practice should precede appropriate presentation of directions for the qualitative improvement of insurance review work in Korea, the significance of this study lies in comparatively analyzing the awareness level of hospital's claim officers and Agency's review officers and in presenting the establishment of future further training and continuing education.

호스피스 자원봉사자 역량강화를 위한 지속교육의 효과: 혼합연구방법의 적용 (Evaluation of Continuing Education Program to Enhance Competency for Hospice Volunteers: An Exploratory Mixed-Methods Design)

  • 목적: 호스피스 자원봉사자는 환자와 가족의 곁에서 보이지 않는 손의 역할을 하며 호스피스 완화의료팀 내에서 중추적인 역할을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구는 호스피스 자원봉사자 역량강화를 위한 지속교육과정의 효과를 혼합연구방법을 통해 파악하고자 하였다. 방법: 본 연구는 G도 J시에 소재한 G대학교의 매주 4시간씩 총 20시간의 호스피스 자원봉사자 지속교육 과정에 참여한 호스피스 자원봉사자 30명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료의 양적연구를 위해 대상자의 교육 전후 호스피스 태도, 의미 있는 삶, 자기효능감, 자원봉사활동 만족도를 조사하였다. 자료는 SPSS Window 20.0을 사용하여 기술통계, paired t-test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test로 분석하였다. 질적 연구를 위해 교육 참여자들에게 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 시행하였으며, 수집된 자료는 내용분석하였다. 결과: 호스피스 자원봉사자 지속교육 과정의 효과에 대한 양적연구 결과, 호스피스 자원봉사자의 호스피스 태도(t=-2.52, P=0.018)와 자기효능감(z=-2.06, P=0.40)을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 질적 연구 결과, 참여자들은 자신의 신체를 다치지 않으면서 효과적으로 환자들을 돌볼 수 있는 방법과 영적 돌봄을 제공할 수 있는 실제적인 방법을 알기 원하였다. 참여자들은 삶의 마무리를 돕는 봉사에 대한 자부심과 베푸는 기쁨이 나의 삶에 감사로 돌아오기 때문에 지속적으로 봉사활동을 하고 있었으며, 개인시간 할애가 많음에도 불구하고 환자를 잘 돌보고 싶은 열정으로 지속적 배움에 대한 열의를 나타냈다. 결론: 호스피스 자원봉사자들은 지속교육 과정을 통해 환자와 가족을 돌보기 위한 역량 강화를 원하였으며, 이러한 교육은 호스피스 태도와 자기효능감을 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 자원봉사자들의 역량강화를 위해서는 대상자들의 신체적·사회적·영적인 접근을 모두 강화시키는 지속교육이 필요하다. 효율적이고 체계화된 지속교육을 위해서는 웹기반 교육과정 개발 및 지역별 컨소시엄 형성이 도움이 될 수 있다.

The evidence indicates that all three groups agree that IT improves banking efficiency and reduces job repetitiveness, but their job satisfaction level with IT-based work is surprisingly very low. The main reasons are mainly lack of training/education and poor user manuals. Also the research shows that most respondents would like to get further training/education to more adequately fit them for their jobs. Those from banks which invested in continuing training/education revealed more positive work attitudes and higher job satisfaction.

신규간호사의 정맥주입요법 교육 현황과 교육요구도 분석 (The Current Status of Intravenous Infusion Therapy Education for New Nurses and Their Needs for the Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate new nurses' needs for intravenous infusion therapy training by analyzing the current training status. Methods: This study examined the needs for intravenous infusion therapy training with 159 new nurses. The measurement tool consisted of 93 items developed based on intravenous therapy-related studies, and was evaluated on a 4-point Likert scale. For data analysis, SPSS/WIN 25.0 was used, and frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, paired t-test, were performed. Results: The demand for intravenous therapy education was analyzed using a questionnaire composed of 8 areas, 16 sub-areas, and 93 items. According to the findings, post-ward placement intravenous therapy education(83.7%) is conducted more often than in preliminary education (72.2%). The demand for intravenous infusion therapy education did not differ significantly in preliminary and post-ward placement education (t=-.89, p=.376). While therapy skills were preferred in preliminary education, there were high demands for education content related to blood transfusion, central venous catheter, and drug use in continuing education. As for preferred teaching methods, lecture (38.2%) and simulation (26.7%) were most answered for preliminary education, while a range of methods were preferred for continuing education including lecture (31.1%), clinical practice (20.6%), preceptor training (19.8%), simulation (16.8%), and self-study (11.6%). Conclusion: For efficient training, it is required to provide different education contents and methods for each stage.

기록관리 전문직 양성제도 혁신 방안 연구 (A Study on Alternative Strategies for Archival Professional Training System)

  • 본 연구는 변화하는 기록관리 환경에 대응할 수 있는 역량을 갖춘 기록관리 전문직 양성제도 혁신 방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 해외 기록관리 전문직 양성·자격제도를 통해 시사점을 찾고, 우리나라 기록관리 전문직 자격제도와 비교 분석했다. 또한, 국내 기록관리학 대학원의 일반 현황과 교원의 연구실적을 분석하여, 상당수 교원들이 기록관리학에 대한 학술적 관심이 낮으며 학교별 격차가 상당한 점을 확인했다. 이를 바탕으로, 교수연구자와 현장전문가를 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하여, 기록관리 전문직 양성제도 개선에 대한 의견을 수렴했다. 결론에 갈음하며, 본 연구는 기록공동체 거버넌스 체계 구성과 자율규제력 확보라는 선행과제를 제시하고, 대학원 교육 가이드라인 제정, 계속-심화교육체계 수립, 교육원의 발전적 전환을 3대 과제로 하는 기록관리 전문직 양성제도 혁신방안을 제안한다.

응급구조사 보수교육 실태와 요구도 (Current State and Needs of Continuing Education for Emergency Medical Technicians)

  • 본 연구는 보수교육에 참여한 1급, 2급 응급구조사 389명을 대상으로 보수교육 실태와 요구도를 조사하여 직무에 알맞는 보수교육을 제공함으로써 보수교육의 만족도를 높이고, 효과적으로 운영할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시하였다. 그 결과 '1급, 2급 응급구조사의 보수교육 실태 및 차이'에서 '보수교육의 만족도 정도'(p=0.002), '자격에 따라 교육이 분리되어야 한다.'(p=0.000), '보수 교육 등록비는 적절하였다.'(p=0.027), '보수 교육 시행 후 평가의 필요성 정도'(p=0.007)가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. '보수 교육 내용으로 가장 적합한 주제'는 1급(42.3%)과 2급(31.1%) 모두 ALS가 가장 높은 백분율을 나타냈으나, 통계적으로는 유의(p=0.224)하지 않았다. '보수 교육 개선 방안 요구도'에서는 1급과 2급이 각각 29.5%, 31.2%로 '내용의 질적 개선'을 가장 원하고 있으나, 통계적으로는 유의(p=0.664)하지 않았다. 또한 각 근무분야에 따라 '보수 교육 내용으로 가장 적합한 주제'로 '병원'(46.3%)과 '병원 외'(28.6) 모두 ALS로 나타났으며, 또한 '병원'과 비교해 '병원 외'에서 '법과 최신의료정보'의 요구도가 약 12% 정도 높았다. 연구 결과에 따라 1급과 2급의 교육을 분리를 고려해야 할 것이며, 근무분야의 요구도에 따라 보수 교육 내용을 고려 및 반영하여 보수교육의 질적 향상과 만족도를 높여야 할 것이다.
