상황 전파 네트워크를 이용한 확률기반 상황생성 모델 (Probability-Based Context-Generation Model with Situation Propagation Network)

  • A probability-based data generation is a typical context-generation method that is a not only simple and strong data generation method but also easy to update generation conditions. However, the probability-based context-generation method has been found its natural-born ambiguousness and confliction problems in generated context data. In order to compensate for the disadvantages of the probabilistic random data generation method, a situation propagation network is proposed in this paper. The situation propagating network is designed to update parameters of probability functions are included in probability-based data generation model. The proposed probability-based context-generation model generates two kinds of contexts: one is related to independent contexts, and the other is related to conditional contexts. The results of the proposed model are compared with the results of the probabilitybased model with respect to performance, reduction of ambiguity, and confliction.

학문 중심 과학 교육의 문제점과 생활 소재의 과학 교재화 방안 (Problems of Discipline Centered Science Education and a Method of the Utilization of Everyday Materials in Science Education)

  • The new movement in science education in America and Europe has been heavilly oriented into technological and soceital aspect of science since 1970. However, this spirit has not been well informed in Korea and not adapted in science education. This paper aimed to arouse Korean science educators attention to everyday situation as a science education context. In this paper, the discipline centered science education was briefly reviewed and problems related to the philosophy was pointed out. At the same time the researcher introduced STS context as a science education objective, and elaborated the three elements(physical situation, technological situation. and societal situation) of the context. In the paper, the advantages of the use of everyday context in science education were examined. THe advantages were analysed in terms of the nature of science, learning psychology, integrated science, and societal aspect of science education. The paper also suggested the criteria to select teaching materials from STS context. The suggested criteria were the degree of science concepts involvement, frequency of experience, strength of experience, and possibility of direct experience.

가상기업의 형성을 위한 컨텍스트 기반 프레임워크 (Context-Driven Framework for High Level Configuration of Virtual Businesses)

  • In this paper we suggest a context-driven configuration model of virtual businesses to form a business network model consisting of role-based, interaction-centered business partners. The model makes use of the subcontext concept which explicitly represents actors and interactions in virtual business (VB) context. We separate actors who have capacities on tasks in a specific kind of role and actor subcontext which models requirements in specific interaction subcontext. Three kinds of actors are defined in virtual service chains, service user, service provider, and external service supporter. Interaction subcontext models a service exchange process between two actor subcontexts with consideration of context dependencies like task and quality dependencies. Each subcontext may be modeled in the form of a situation network which consists of a finite set of situation nodes and transitions. A specific situation is given in a corresponding context network of actors and interactions. It is illustrated with a simple example.

지능적 상황인지 미들웨어의 개발 (A Development of Intelligent Context-Awareness Middleware)

  • Context-Awareness system provides an appropriate service to user by recognizing situation from surrounding environment. There are many successful studies on this framework, but still has some limitations. In this paper, we are describing a context-awareness middleware that can enhance the limitation of the previous approaches. We first defined a new concept of context-awareness environment as a social intelligence. This concept implies that intelligent objects can make relationships, can aware of situation from surrounding environment, and can collaborate to accomplish a given task. The significance of the study is as follows. First, the system is capable of multi context-awareness since it is designed with a structure that supports multiple lines of reasoning. Second, the system is capable of context planning by adapting AI planning mechanism. Third, the system is capable of making the intelligent objects as a group for collaboration, and provides adaptive service to user. We have developed a prototype of the system and tested with a virtual scenario.

  • Recently, a smart space with Ubiquitous Environment is expanding rapidly due to the development of Ubiquitous Sensor Network. Therefore, more appropriate and intelligent services of the context awareness system is being required. The previous context awareness system can provide a service to the user through the inference only on the current situation. But, it does not handle certain situation properly when the system provides abnormal result. Also it does not have any proper method of generating reliable semantic data from sensed raw data. In this paper, we are trying to solve the problems as the following approaches. First, the system recognizes abnormal result and corrects it by learning feedback from the user. Second, we suggest a method of converting sensed data into more reliable semantic data. Third, we build the system based on an Ontological context model that is capable of interoperability and reusability. Therefore, the context awareness system of our study can enhance the previous system that can generate more reliable context data, can provide more effective inference method, and can provide more intelligent system structure.

사용자환경정보 기반 Context-based Service 추론모델 (Context-based Service Reasoning Model Based on User Environment Information)

  • 현재의 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술은 공간에서 사용자가 요구하는 직접적인 서비스만을 제공하는 정도의 기술 구현에 그치고 있으며, 앞으로는 좀 더 능동적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 지능적인 시스템이 필요해지고 있다. 사용자의 개입 없이 사용자가 처한 상황에 대한 정보를 통해 제공할 서비스를 결정할 수 있는 시스템을 구성하기 위해 본 논문에서는 지능형 홈과 같은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 공간에서의 사용자가 처한 상황에 대한 환경정보를 Context로 정의하고 4W1H의 형태로 정형화하여 수집한다. 추가적으로 사용자의 감정 상태에 대한 정보를 수집하고 이러한 정보들을 확률 추론을 위한 베이지안 네트워크의 노드로 사용하여 사용자가 구체적으로 어떠한 상황에 처해 있는가에 대한 상황인식을 구현하다. 또한 그 상황 인식결과를 통해 사용자에게 제공될 서비스를 다시 한 번 베이지안 네트워크를 통해 추론하는 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

사회적 구성'의 수학교육적 의미에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Meaning of 'Social Construction' in Mathematics Education)

  • This study analyzes the epistemological meaning of‘social construction’in mathematical instruction. The perspective that consider the cognition of mathematical concept as a social construction is explained by a cyclic scheme of an academic context and a school context. Both of the contexts require a public procedure, social conversation. However, there is a considerable difference that in the academic context it is Lakatos' ‘logic of mathematical discovery’In the school context, it is Vygotsky's‘instructional and learning interaction’. In the situation of mathematics education, the‘society’which has an influence on learner's cognition does not only mean‘collective members’, but‘form of life’which is constituted by the activity with purposes, language, discourse, etc. Teachers have to play a central role that guide and coordinate the educational process involving interactions with learners in this context. We can get useful suggestions to mathematics education through this consideration of the social contexts and levels to form didactical situations of mathematics.

Integration of User Profiles and Real-time Context Information Reflecting Time-based Changes for the Recommendation System

  • Under ubiquitous environment, recommendation system is using the collaborative filtering methods by quantifying context information, but insufficient context information can cause inaccurate recommendation result. In order to solve such problems, the researcher used context information and user's profile. But service history information in users' profiles can have the problems of being influenced by change of the user's taste or fashion as time passes by. In addition, context information and user's profile can't be properly inter-locked according to situation, which can cause inaccurate predictability. In this paper, in case a user's taste or fashion is changed as time passes by, the researcher didn't apply bundled-up value to the user's profile but applied different weight according to change of time. And the researcher could solve the problem that context information and a user's profile can't be properly inter-locked according to situation by applying different weight to the result gained by means of collaborative filtering and then by unifying it. In such ways, the researcher could improve predictability.

전자상거래 배송업무의 예외처리용 프로세스 저장소의 효과적 관리를 위한 검색트리 생성 (Search Tree Generation for Efficient Management of Business Process Repository in e-commerce Delivery Exception Handling)

  • 업무프로세스 관리시스템(BPMS:business process management system)을 이용하면 새로운 프로세스를 정의하거나 기존의 프로세스를 갱신하는 일이 매우 용이하다. 대체로 표준화되고 일상적인 업무를 대상으로 프로세스를 관리하는 것은 이러한 소프트웨어를 사용하여 효율성을 높일 수 있겠으나, 비일상적인 예외상황에 대한 처리를 위해서는 별도의 전문가 참여나 특수한 의사결정 과정을 거쳐야 하는 경우가 많다. 본 논문은 다수의 예외처리용 업무 프로세스가 저장소에 축적된 상황을 전제로 예외처리 프로세스 선정의 자동화 방안을 제시한다. 예외처리에 가장 적합한 프로세스를 검색하는 것은 예외상황에 관한 충분한 이해가 필요하기 때문에 상황의 인지(context awareness)는 매우 중요한 과제이다. 예외상황의 이해를 원활히 하고, 예외처리 프로세스의 효율적인 선정을 위해 본 연구에서는 '상황변수'와 '의사결정변수' 자료구조를 도입하였다. 전자상거래의 배송과정의 예외사례를 사용하여 제시한 변수구조가 어떻게 검색트리 생성에 활용되는지를 예시하였다. C5.0 알고리즘은 최적검색트리를 생성해주며, 그것은 또한 문제의 상황에 최적인 예외처리 프로세스의 선정을 위한 검색경로를 설정한 것임을 보여준다.

온톨로지 기반 상황인지 모델링 연구: u-Convention을 중심으로 (A Study of Ontology-based Context Modeling in the Area of u-Convention)

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 주요 기술인 상황인지는 환경을 구성하는 다양한 종류의 정보 기기로부터 전달되는 상황 정보를 이해하고 처리하며, 다양한 도메인에 유연하게 적용할 수 있는 상황인지 모델을 필요로 한다. 시맨틱 웹 기술 기반의 온톨로지는 구조화된 공통의 포맷을 이용하고 의미적인 정보의 표현이 가능하므로, 시스템이 상황 정보를 공유하고 이해, 추론함으로써 효과적인 상황인지가 가능하다. 따라서 온톨로지를 이용한 상황인지 모델이 여러 연구에서 제시되어 왔는데, 본 논문에서는 이러한 기존 연구들에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 상황인지 모델의 범용성과 확장성을 위해 온톨로지의 구조를 계층화하고 이를 기반으로 상황인지 시스템을 구현하여 실제 u-Convention 도메인에 적용하였다. 또한 OWL-DL의 기술논리와 SWRL 규칙 추론을 결합함으로써 복합적인 상황을 효과적으로 추론하는 방법을 제시하였다.
