Levelized Information Retrieval Method in Context Awareness Environments (컨텍스트 인식 환경에서 레벨화된 정보 검색 기법)

  • The context-aware retrieval method is one of the fundamental characteristics in ubiquitous computing. The essential aims of context-aware retrieval method are retrieving relevant information and delivering information quickly. We propose a new method that retrieves relevant information and delivers information quickly using characteristics of levelized contexts. We extract rules and recommendation information in the near future using context values and rules. Then we prefetch recommendation information in very near future using access score. Our method retrieves relevant information and deliver information quickly by storing only recommendation information to be needed in near future using the characteristics of levelized contexts.

  • Uncertainty of result of context awareness always exists in any context-awareness computing. This falling-off in accuracy of context awareness result is mostly caused by the imperfectness and incompleteness of sensed data, because of this reasons, we must improve the accuracy of context awareness. In this article, we propose a novel approach to model the uncertain context by using ontology and context reasoning method based on Bayesian Network. Our context aware processing is divided into two parts; context modeling and context reasoning. The context modeling is based on ontology for facilitating knowledge reuse and sharing. The ontology facilitates the share and reuse of information over similar domains of not only the logical knowledge but also the uncertain knowledge. Also the ontology can be used to structure learning for Bayesian network. The context reasoning is based on Bayesian Networks for probabilistic inference to solve the uncertain reasoning in context-aware processing problem in a flexible and adaptive situation.

  • Acquiring context data in a timely and correct way is now regarded as one of the crucial characteristics of the proactive service which runs on ubiquitous computing environment. Moreover, context model should be well designed to provide a solid context-aware system. Since the ubiquitous computing systems aim to provide context-aware services everywhere with any available devices, legacy services which uses context models assuming single or limited domain should be extended enough to be useful even for multi-domain muli-services. This leads us to a motivation to build a generic context model with an appropriate type of model. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a generic context model by assessing a variety of model types with a sort of evaluation measures.

  • The Context-Awareness technology which can provide the appropriate information to the human after estimating a lot of information exceeds the time and space in the ubiquitous environment is being developed now. GIS (Geographic Information System) and LBS (Location Based Services) based context awareness is one of these kinds of technology. The context awareness based transfer guide service which can provide useful information, according to the different information which was got from different sensors which were set in different places, to the pedestrian who is using the transfer center will be introduced in this paper. About the result of the service prototype which was tested in test-bed, the context awareness information such as the inside location and density calculation's accuracy is 90%, and the response time of the service is in 10 seconds, and also, the reliability will be higher if more advanced based infra will be used, so it is consider that it can be used to provide service enough.

  • Context-based information services are required in ubiquitous application. In the ubiquitous application, ubiquitous commerce addresses information service that recommends items to consumers with the use of the situated contexts. This paper proposes a multi-context based information service for ubiquitous commerce. This enables a consumer to get multi-context based information efficiently by using consumer's attention for each context. The method is described and an ubiquitous commerce application prototype based on multi-context is presented. Several experiments are performed and the results verify that the proposed method's performance is better than other existing method.

  • As a fine-grained classification problem, aspect-level sentiment classification predicts the sentiment polarity for different aspects in context. To address this issue, researchers have widely used attention mechanisms to abstract the relationship between context and aspects. Still, it is difficult to effectively obtain a more profound semantic representation, and the strong correlation between local context features and the aspect-based sentiment is rarely considered. In this paper, a hybrid attention capsule network for aspect-level sentiment classification (ABASCap) was proposed. In this model, the multi-head self-attention was improved, and a context mask mechanism based on adjustable context window was proposed, so as to effectively obtain the internal association between aspects and context. Moreover, the dynamic routing algorithm and activation function in capsule network were optimized to meet the task requirements. Finally, sufficient experiments were conducted on three benchmark datasets in different domains. Compared with other baseline models, ABASCap achieved better classification results, and outperformed the state-of-the-art methods in this task after incorporating pre-training BERT.

  • There are some technologies such as USN, RFID, Home-network to advance the ubiquitous era. Those technologies embody Context-Awareness System. To Context-Awareness System is that human, objects and environment supply information with cable and wireless at real time. So private information, information privacy, a wide sense privacy will be faced on serious menace. In this article, I analyze threat of private information in Context-Awareness System under USN(ubiquitous Sensing Network) surroundings and present technology to protect private information. Each technology can apply subdivided protection province information privacy. I expect definition of information privacy, insight through technological presentation and total solution in this article.

  • In ubiquitous environment, information retrieval using collaborative filtering is a popular technique for reducing information overload. Collaborative filtering systems can produce personal recommendations by computing the similarity between your preference and the one of other people. We integrate the collaboration filtering method and context-aware information retrieval method. The proposed method enables to find some relevant information to specific user's contexts. It aims to makes more effective information retrieval to the users. The proposed method is conceptually comprised of two main tasks. The first task is to tag context tags by automatic tagging technique. The second task is to recommend items for each user's contexts integrating collaborative filtering and information retrieval. We describe a new integration method algorithm and then present a u-commerce application prototype.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the emotional and behavioral characteristics of information seeking of university students in context in which a class assignment should be completed. An attempt was made to understand better individualized and selective behavior observed while seeking information in the commonly defined context. Data was collected from content analysis of self-reports by 54 university students majoring in library and information science. Major findings were analyzed in relation to the preception and feelings over, and barriers and strategies of seeking information, and the use of information resources.

  • The systems in the ubiquitous computing environment need to provide users with context-aware services, intelligently interacting with the surrounding environment. Therefore, the systems in the ubiquitous computing environment require context-awareness ability in order to gather and analyze context information in various situations and environments. However, existing context-aware systems lack the ability to systematically generate and handle various types of context information, and only a few systems have ability learning from environment. In this paper, a general context model is defined to describe various contexts and a context-awareness framework is implemented based in the model, which makes it straightforward to handle and generate various types of context from diverse sensor. The framework is designed to allow a system to sensed, combined, inferred, and learned context information, in order to provide users with services in dynamic environments. We have implemented the proposed framework and applied it to a u-Health management system.
