대학생의 전공관련 자원봉사가 자존감, 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Occupational Therapy Volunteering on Self-esteem and Self-efficiency in University Students)

  • 본 연구는 작업치료학과 학생 53명을 대상으로 전공 관련 자원봉사가 자존감, 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 자원봉사는 2009년 7월 27일부터 8월 21일까지 서울 경기 지방에 위치한 치매관련 노인 요양 시설에서 20일(160시간)간 실시되었다. 참가한 대상자들을 대상으로 자원봉사에 참가하기 전과 후에 자존감, 자기효능감, 자원봉사와 진로의식 및 행동관련 설문을 자가기입 방식으로 실시하였다. 대상자들은 자원봉사 프로그램에 대해 대체로 만족하였다고 응답하였고, 대상자들의 자존감과 자기효능감도 각각 $29.43{\pm}2.51$점, $30.45{\pm}3.41$점에서 $31.66{\pm}2.63$$33.26{\pm}3.93$점으로 향상되었다(p<.00). 또 대상자들은 자원봉사 후에 전공에 대해 편안함을 느끼고 준비해야 할 사항들이 무엇인지에 대해서도 파악할 수 있다고 응답하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 전공 관련 자원봉사가 대학생들의 전공에 대한 소속감과 이해도를 높이는 방법으로 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

The Effects of Weight-Bearing Exercise on Upper Extremity Activities Performance in the Female Stroke Patients

  • The purpose in the present study was to examine the effects of weight-bearing exercises on stroke patients' ability to perform upper extremity activities. Experiments were conducted with 24 female stroke patients who were randomly assigned to either a control group (CG) that performed general exercise or an experimental group that performed weight-bearing exercise (WBG). The experiments were conducted for 30 minutes per time, three times per week for six weeks. The upper extremity functions, grasping power, and the ability to manipulate the fingers were measured for both groups before the experiments and again six weeks after the beginning of the experiments. Although the scores for upper extremity functions relating to raising the arms that correspond to proximal upper extremity functions increased in both groups, the WBG showed more significant improvement. The WBG showed significant changes in grasping power compared to the CG. Based on these results, weight-bearing exercise can be effective in improving the ability to perform upper extremity movements and grasping power and thus can be used in stroke rehabilitation.

성인을 위한 놀이치료 국내 연구 동향: 2009년부터 2019년까지 (Domestic Research Trends in Play Therapy for Adults: from 2009 to 2019)

  • 본 연구는 국내에서 발간된 성인 놀이치료 관련 학술 연구 경향을 파악하고 향후 연구 방향과 임상 실천, 그리고 상담자 교육훈련을 위한 시사점을 제시하고자 성인을 대상으로 한 놀이치료 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 국내에서 실시된 다양한 연구들 가운데 성인을 위한 놀이치료의 발전적 실천 방안과 연구 방법에 대한 제안을 위한 목적으로 실시하였다. 본 연구를 위해 2009년부터 2019년까지 성인을 위한 놀이치료를 주제로 국내에서 발표된 학술 논문 총 73편을 선정하였다. 분석 대상 선별을 위해 한국교육학술정보원(www.riss.kr), 한국학술정보(KISS), 한국과학기술정보연구원(NDSL)에서 주제어 검색을 통해 논문을 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 국내 성인을 위한 놀이치료 연구는 단기간에 양적으로 성장하면서 다양한 대상과 단위로 확대되어온 경향을 보였다. 다만 성인놀이치료의 확대 적용과 발전을 위해 보다 체계적이며 다양한 접근의 놀이치료 시도 및 방법론 측면의 노력이 요구된다. 또한 성인을 위한 놀이치료가 집단에 국한하지 않고 개인과 커플, 조직 내 원활한 의사소통 촉진을 위한 다양한 실천 개입으로 보다 많은 연구가 시도될 필요가 있을 것이다.

Development of Training Instruments on Visual functions using HMD type Display and Investigation of its Demand

  • We constructed 3-D images by HMD (Head Mount Display) type and polarization technique through which a training instrument of binocular function based on clinical vision therapy was developed and investigated its demand. To design the instrument that performs Test- Diagnosis - (Prescription) - Training - Treatment we provided a customized training method for the trainers using optical IT instruments of binocular test. Through the contents and the instruments of the vision therapy technology developed in this work we can replace the current vision test instruments to those costing 60% lower price in eye clinics and eye glasses shops. By replacing the existing vision test instruments it is possible to create a new market of the vision therapy in vision training instruments.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a marital enhancement program based on reality therapy. The program consists of 8 session contents: program orientation, need strength profile between husband and wife, quality world and marital life, perception about marital life, comparison between quality world and perceived world, total behavior in marital life, communication between husband and wife, integration and application. This study mainly focuses on applying counseling theory (choice theory and reality therapy) to family life education for enhancing a conjugal relationship. In this way, participants of Marital Enhancement Program can experience a therapeutic effect as well as an educational effect.

  • 치료적 효과에 대한 선행연구의 분석 결과로 게임놀이치료가 ADHD, 틱장애, 의사소통 발달 장애, 자폐성 등과 같은 장애를 가진 아동의 주의집중력, 과잉행동 및 틱증상 감소, 언어적 의사소통 증가, 부적절한 사회적 행동 감소 등과 같은 사회 정서 발달에 효과적인 것으로 보고되었다. 본 연구는 아날로그와 디지털을 병합한 디지로그 방식의 놀이치료 컨텐츠를 개발하고자 한다. 이는 일반인을 비롯하여 치매노인, 지적장애인등의 치료에도 효과적인 방법이라 판단이 된다. 또한 아날로그 놀이와 디지털적 요소들을 융합하여 유아 스마트폰 중독이 초래하는 문제점을 방지하기 위한 디지로그적 관점의 새로운 놀이 시스템을 개발하고자 한다.

Intensity of Aerobic Exercise and Level of Cognitive Task on Computerized Neurobehavioral System

  • Aerobic exercise affects cerebral circulation, action of neurotransmitters, glucose, oxygen, and energetic substances and influence on the central nervous system for cognition. This study suggests that both the intensity of exercise and the level of cognitive task need to be considered. Computerized neurobehavioral testing is a more effective method, compared to conventional methods, of neuropsychological testing when measuring cognition objectively, in cases that we found. The intensity of 80% max HR had effect on more complex tasks such as 3 Digit Addition and Digit Span Backward, and the intensity of 65% max HR had an effect on more simple tasks such as Color Word Vigilance and Digit Span Forward. We can assume that different intensity of aerobic exercise might involve specific areas of the brain as they could have different sensitivities, so further studies measuring regional cerebral blood flow or electroencephalogram are needed to confirm the results.

Effects of Biofeedback Postural Control Training on Weight distribution rate and Functional Ability in Stroke

  • This study examined the effects of biofeedback postural control training on the weight distribution rate and functional ability of subjects with stroke. A total of 30 stroke patients were enrolled in this study. Subjects were divided into a biofeedback postural training group (experimental group, n=15) and a dynamic balance training group (control group, n=15). Experimental subjects received biofeedback postural training and control subjects received dynamic balance training for 30 minutes per day, 5 times per week over a 6 week period. Weight distribution rate and functional ability were measured to identify the effect of the biofeedback postural training. Significant difference in weight distribution rate was observed in the experimental group, compared with the control group (p=0.05), and a significant difference in functional ability. The results of this study provide evidence in support of incorporating a biofeedback postural training for the improvement of weight distribution rate and functional ability of stroke patients.

폐경기 여성을 대상으로 제공하는 디지털 기반 운동 치료: 서비스 디자인 제안 (Study on Digital-based Exercise Therapy for Menopausal Women)

  • Menopausal women have to care for their health. Menopause is a symptom that needs to be managed in the long term, which requires safe and economical treatment even after long term use. This study proposes digital-based exercise therapy. This study also suggests resistance exercise and walking exercise methods according to the proof of previous studies. It provides motivational contents for those who cannot perform regularly. As motivational methods, self-efficacy and narrative-based history methods are accepted. Self-efficacy is improved through voice agents feedback during exercise. Feedback is a type of messages such as encouragement and motivation. The narrative-based history consists of characters of visualization that improves through values, which leveraged by the exercise.

The effects of neuromuscular electrical stimulation on skeletal muscle architecture and qualitative properties in vivo

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the changes in skeletal muscle architecture and qualitative properties by muscle contraction force when neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) of 50% MVIC was applied. Sixteen subjects (8 male, 8 female) without neuromuscular disease volunteered to participate in the study. All subjects were divided into two subgroups: control (no electrical stimulation) group and 50% maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC) group. NMES training program was performed in the calf muscle three times a week for 10 weeks. Before and after the experiments, the MVIC of ankle plantar flexor was measured by the use of dynamometer, and the ultrasonography in the gastrocnemius medialis muscle was measured. The following results were obtained; MVIC was significantly increased in the electrical stimulation groups. Pennation angle, muscle density, and white area index also considerably changed in the electrical stimulation groups. In conclusion, the NMES training of 50% MVIC, comparative low level, improved the skeletal muscle architecture and the qualitative properties as well as the muscle contraction force.
