  • This study examines the concept of contents and contents management. This study, then, analyses contents management systems in terms of contents creation, storage and service. Finally, it suggests some recommendations for implementing contents management systems. The suggestions of the study can be used for implementing effective Web content management in the future.

  • These days, anyone can easily product and share their own content through a web service such as blogs and SNS. However, contents are being operated separately because of the space limitation in individual SNS. Therefore, it is hard to search contents efficiently in individual SNS. To solve this problem, this paper propose a "Private Contents Management and Sharing Service with Voluntary Sharing Economy System." The system is in part [Input], [Save] and it provides a way to collect the content that are scattered on the Internet based on the creation of personal index. It also proposes a more systematic content management and sharing by creating and updating the website standard index by introducing an index Coordinator concept. Furthermore in [Use] section, by providing a portion of the index as the primary search results, it avoid unclassified content list which was simply collected by users. In conclusion, unlike previous studies, this system will contribute to the acquisition and management of interspersed content and ultimately contribute to the shared activation by preventing secondary processing and unauthorized processing to the original article.

A Study on the Technologies of Storage Management System for Digital Contents (디지털콘텐츠의 저장관리시스템 기술에 관한 연구)

  • With the rapidly evolving information technologies and the Internet, a network-based storage management system is required that can efficiently save, search, modify, and manage digital contents which are increasing by geometric progression. Recently, the SAN became highlighted as a solution to such issues as the integrated data management for heterogeneous systems, the effective utilization of storage systems, and the limitation of data transfer. SAN allows for effective management and sharing of bulk data by directly connecting the storage systems, which used to be independently connected to servers, to the high-speed networks such as optical channels. In this study, I researched on the technologies, standardization and market trends of storage management systems, and performed comparative analyses of the structures, components, and performances for achieving the integration of diverse system storage systems as well as the virtualization of storage systems.

  • With the recent increase in the number of cars and the lack of parking spaces, the number of parking businesses has increased. the parking management has become an essential element in parking business, and the parking management's company becomes an increasingly popular opportunity. However, as competition grows as more and more and companies increase in number, efforts are being made to create new services, gain technological excellence, or reduce costs through current system improvements. In this paper, we developed a parking management system using cloud based LPR(License Plate Recognition) service for effective parking. Structural improvements in the proposed system reduce costs, simplify installation, and respond quickly to failures and updates.

Online Content Editing System to Edit Broadcasting and Personal Contents (방송 및 개인 콘텐츠 편집을 위한 온라인 콘텐츠 편집 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a new online content editing system to edit the broadcasting and personal contents. The proposed editing system consists of the content management server and the content editor, in which the content management server is used for storing the contents, while the content editor is used for editing the contents via the user interface. Unlike the existing content editing methods which edit the downloaded contents, the proposed editing system edits the contents stored in the content management server while the content editor plays them by using the streaming technology. However, it is not effective to edit the whole segments of contents while playing them by using the streaming technology. To resolve the problem, the proposed editing system performs the scene detection of the contents, and the detected scene information is used for playing and editing of contents. After completing the content editing, the edited information is uploaded to the content management server as a metadata format. In the proposed editing system, both scene and edited information are represented only as the metadata format, and the physical content segmentation according to the scene and edited information is not performed. The implementation results show that the proposed editing system provides similar performances with the existing content editing methods which use the content download and editing methods.

  • In this paper, we described web content searching system focused on the natural monuments, the endangered and reserved wild animals, the rare wild animals relevant to CITES & IUCN red data book, and the Korean endemic species. As a result of this research, we developed system for inserting and modifying of contents and efficient web searching system on the multimedia contents.

  • Since passive information users in mass media era became active information producers in this Internet era, an enormous amount of education contents has been created. As people use different production and reproduction tools even for the same content, however, user-created contents (UCC) do not have compatibility among them, which leads to other problems too. In order to solve these problems, this study proposes "a platform in UCC production environment based on standard specification, which will enhance interoperability among contents." We expect that this platform will help design Contents Publication and Management System (CPMS), which minimizes jobs required to be done repetitively for contents up-loading or transfer and thus enables easy contents sharing and management.

  • At present Content Management Systems (CMS) with various and diverse web contents have been in wide applications. But, for CMS of each enterprise has its own metadata which is very different from others, it causes the serious problem of web contents repetition. Also, it's a difficult technology to support protecting copyright of web contents which are in separated CMSs. Therefore, in this paper, we solved the problem of contents repetition through metadata integration between mutually heterogeneous CMSs. We also propose the technology of web contents authentication code for avoiding contents repetition and applying digital rights protection by supporting safe ship in vast quantity of contents.

  • The purpose of this article is improving the PR System of the Disaster Management. For achieving the purpose, this article deals with Monthly Publication of the Disaster Analysis & Prospect pressed by the NEMA and DHS TODAY pressed by the DHS and use to contents analysis as methodology. This study selects sorts, management steps, and learning of disaster which are useful in analyzing contents by the krkwic program. This study suggests how to improve PR System of disaster management focusing on contents of the PR media.
