최근 인터넷의 사용자 급증과 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 전송 서비스의 지속적인 증가로 인해 네트워크 상에서 많은 정체현상이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 인터넷의 정체현상을 해결하기 위한 하나의 대안으로 CDN 이 대두되고 있다. CDN 사용자와 가까운 곳에 위치한 CDN 서버를 사용하여 컨텐츠를 전송하므로 미들마일 이라 불리는 인터네트워크상의 트래픽을 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있다. 그러나 현재 이러한 CDN에서는 대부분 Edge 서버 선택 메커니즘이 전적으로 벤더들의 정책에 의해 결정되도록 되어있어 효율적인 서버 선택 메커니즘에 대한 연구가 부진하며, 또한 데이터의 QoS 보장은 필수 불가결한 요소임에도 불구하고 이에 대한 연구가 미비한 상태이다 본 논문은 CDN 상에서 최단 거리와 서버 로드를 고려한 최적의 Edge 서버 선택 기법을 제시하고, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 전송의 QoS 보장을 위해 MDC(Multiple Description Code)를 이용한 다중코딩 기법을 제안한다.

Objectives: This study has been done to compare the Haematite's composition before and after using processing method and to clarify its quality and naming through the historical herbal books. Methods: I studied the Haematite and processed Haematite using physical and chemical methods which contain microscopic analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, thermal analysis, XRF, ICP, etc, to compare the compositions and its characters. Results: Haematite is a metallic oxide(Hematite, $Fe_2O_3$). Haematite contains a main ingredients of crude Haematite Fe 40.336% - 62.174%, processed Haematite $50.499%{\sim}62.791%$(a theory value is 69.944% the korean pharmacopoeia wants >45%) and small ingredients, also. Conclusion: A radio-element contents of U, Th contain less than average contents of the lithosphere's U 1.8ppm, Th 7.2ppm.

As SAR data have the strong point that is not influenced by weather or light amount compared with optical sensor data, they have high usfulness as temporary analysis fast and can be collected in case of like disaster. This study is to extract DEM from L-band data of JERS-1 SAR imagery using InSAR and DInSAR processing techniques. The accuracies of DEM extracted from the SAR data were evaluated by employing DEM derived from the digital topographic maps of 1:5000 scale as standard data.

Speech shares acoustic features with other sound-based processing, which makes it difficult to distinguish phonological process from acoustic process in speech processing. In this study, we examined the difference between acoustic process and phonological process during repetition tasks. By contrasting various stimuli in different lengths, we localized neural correlates of acoustic process within bilateral superior temporal gyrus, which was consistent with the previous studies. The activated patterns were widely overlapped between words and pseudowords, i.e., contents-free. In contrast, phonological process showed left-lateralized activation in middle temporal gyrus located at anterior temporal areas. It implies that phonological process is contents-specific as shown in our previous study, and at the same time, more language-specific. Thus, we suggest that phonological process is distinguished from acoustic process in that it is always accompanied with the obligatory access to available phonological codes, which can be an entry of the mental lexicon.

컴퓨터 게임 중 MMORPG(Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game)는 다른 장르(Genre)의 게임들과 비교하여 상대적으로 개발 기간이 매우 길고, 게임을 구성하는 콘텐츠(contents)도 매우 방대하다. 그러나, MMORPG 를 처음 접하는 플레이어(Player)는 대부분의 경우, 단지 몇 시간 정도의 게임을 해본 후에 게임을 계속할지를 결정한다. 따라서, 플레이어가 게임을 지속적으로 즐기도록 하기 위해서 MMORPG 의 초기에 어떤 콘텐츠를 어떻게 제공할 것인지에 대한 설계는 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 현재 성공적으로 평가되는 MMORPG 들의 초기콘텐츠를 분석하고 이 분석을 기반으로 효과적인 초기콘텐츠 구성에 대해 기술한다. 이러한 연구는 개발되는 MMORPG 에서 초기 콘텐츠를 어떻게 효과적으로 구성할지에 대한 대안을 제시한다.

음함수 곡면 모델의 대표적인 규조요소인 메타볼은 다양한 형태의 곡면을 모델링 하는데 뛰어난 성능을 갖는다. 그러나 복잡한 형태의 물체는 곡면 뿐 아니라 평면적인 요소를 포함하기 때문에 메타볼 만으로 부정형 물체를 모델링하는 데에는 많은 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문은 음함수 프리미티브를 이용해 물체를 생성하고 효과적으로 애니메이션하기 위해 각각의 프리미티브에 회전 값을 부여함으로써 적은 수의 음함수 프리미티브를 이용해 기울어진 형태의 물체를 표현하기 위한 방법을 제시하였다.

최근 들어 무선인터넷 단말기로 보다 효율적으로 인터넷에 접근하여 정보를 제공하고자 하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 사용자는 유선 인터넷으로 제공받는 컨텐츠를 휴대가 간편한 무선 이동통신으로 제공받고자 하는 욕구가 점점 늘어나고 있고 이러한 원인으로 다양한 무선 컨텐츠의 제공이 요구된다. 그러나 다양한 무선 단말기의 특성에 따라 컨텐츠를 새롭게 개발하는데는 개발비용, 기간이 많이 들게 되므로 기존의 웹 컨텐츠를 활용하여 무선환경에 맞는 문서변환 기술 연구의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유선 인터넷상의 컨텐츠를 무선 환경으로 손쉽게 변환할 수 있는 XML(eXensible Markup Language)기술을 활용한 변환기(Generator)구조를 설계하고 이와 관련된 XML Generator, RuleSet Management, Clipping Toolkit 등의 기능을 정의하여 보다 효율적으로 무선 컨텐츠로 변환하는 기술을 소개한다.

Based on a complex event processing technique, an abuse pattern monitoring method is developed to provide an real-time detection. CEP is a technique to find complex event pattern in a massive information system. In this study, the events occurred by game-play are observed to be against the rules using CEP. User abuse patterns are pre-registered in CEP engine. And CEP engine monitors user abuse after aggregating the game data transferred by game logging server.

사물통신 기기의 발달로 다양한 응용에서 대용량의 스트림 데이터의 실시간 복합 이벤트 처리 기법에 대한 중요성이 증가되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유사 연산 처리 비용을 감소시키기 위한 다수의 복합 이벤트 처리 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 다수의 복합 이벤트를 처리하기 위한 연산자를 그래프로 표현하고 중복적인 연산을 감소시킨다.
