Identification of resources and competences for value co-creation in the relationship network of high-tech B2B firm (첨단 기술 기반 B2B 회사의 관계 네트워크에서의 공동 가치 창출을 위한 자원 및 역량 도출)

  • Value co-creation is an important business strategy these days in both the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) markets. The aim of this study was to identify specialized resources and competences for value co-creation in the relationship network within a high-tech B2B market. A case of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) with customers and partners was chosen as the study case. Based on the observations, contents analysis of the secondary data and unstructured interviews with former TSMC employees, 4 critical resource types (financial, knowledge, efficiency and intellectual resource) and 6 competence types (relational, collaboration, strategic, innovation, managing and service capability), were performed as the principal factors for value co-creation in the relationship network. A research framework that can analyze the value co-creation phenomena in the relationship network was established.

The Influence of Self-discrepancy on One's Contributive Behaviors in Customer-based Online Communities (고객기반 온라인 커뮤니티에서 개인의 자아 차이 (Self-discrepancy)가 기여 행위에 미치는 영향)

  • Organizing and maintaining customer-based online communities are becoming increasingly important in current business environment. Companies can utilize the member generated contents in developing their products and services and they can establish close relationships with their customers. This paper investigates how customer-based online communities increase individual members' contributive behaviors. Drawing on the social psychology literature, this study adopts the concept of self-discrepancy rooted in self-identity and derive an index for self-discrepancy by using the differences between actual and virtual self-identities. Furthermore, this study examines the relationship between the self-discrepancy and the anonymity-related psychological factors (autonomy, recovery, and catharsis), which in turn influence quality and quantity of contribution. Analysis of 114 respondents showed that self-discrepancy between actual and virtual selves has two different sub-dimensions (personal self-discrepancy and social sel f-discrepancy) and each dimension has different effect on the quality and quantity of contribution through the mediation of autonomy and recovery. Notably, catharsis negatively influenced quality of contribution. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed based on the major findings.

  • Purpose - PB products at convenience stores take up about 20% of all products, and strategies for differentiation from other companies and brand image building are very important. This study would investigate the strategy for differentiating PB products and successful brand building strategy, focusing on BGF Retail that is operating 'CU', the leader in the convenience store industry in Korea. Research design, data, and methodology - This study would attempt to make an exploratory approach to PB products limited to those in convenience stores. As a research subject, this study chose BGF Retail, the operator of CU, which is the leader in the convenience store industry in Korea and chose the case study method in order to examine the strategy for differentiating PB products in convenience stores more in depth. For this purpose, this study collected materials such as papers, newspaper articles and various reports on convenience store-related PB products and conducted an in-depth study including more practical contents through an interview with CU workers. Results - CU pursued the diversity of PB products and has had the diversity of products, more than 120 kinds. It founded a product research institute and has been in charge of the differentiation strategy from planning products to launching them. Changing the target layer of consumers to those in middle age of the 40s-50s, it succeeded in the strategy expanding the consumer class. In the long run, despite it changed the name of the company, it has built a successful image, and both revenue and operating profit have continuously grown up. Conclusions - In results, CU has reset the changing main target population, and the product research institute succeeded in the innovation of products, reflecting new trends the customers want. Through this study, the practical implications could be provided for competitors.

Purpose of this study grasps use factor of LBS application Mobile service, and it is that analyze actual proof through questionnaire to grasp whether some relation is with value and action determination that is felt of LBS application Mobile service. Distributed all question of 190 copies but disk floret inclination did valid data 171 that clear question and omission remove a lot of questions by type of study among questionnaire of collected 182 wealths. Analyzed factor analysis and authoritativeness to search validity and confidence of questionnaire and used single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis for hypothetical verification. According to verification result, Mobile service that apply position base service usefulness and system quality, adaptedness of Mobile service that apply position base service by leading person affecting in use, acted for connection healthy and felt value is important factor immediately. Usability and social effect, felt expense, privacy did not appear by leading person that keep in mind in this study. Is been related with step that Mobile service that apply position base service is placed. That is, as present childhood, a person who have experience that use service to look for friend is few and usability fairly in last in wide application boundary and this very important person was removed finally in model. This study has sense in terms of study systematically about LBS application service use leading person that is getting into the spotlight worldwide among Mobile service that is injured newly.

  • In today's rapidly changing business environment, "core value" has been emerging for companies to survive as "going concern" and respond to the conditions of the market environment and prosper together as the uncertainty about the future grows. LG Way states the contents to achieve "Number 1 LG" which is the vision of LG through achieving "Do it the right way and concentrate to what we can do best" which is the LG behavior methods through "value creation for customers" and "management of human dignity" which are LG corporate philosophy. It provides directions of various management activities and institutional development and also provides the foundation of core competencies. the core value provides the future directions in an uncertain business environment and plays an important role in maintaining a continuous going concern through members of the organization and the growth of the organization. Therefore, in order for the core values to be shared among the members of the company, the chief executive officer of the company should present a clearer core value. By conducting continuous monitoring if the members have properly settled, they should be able to conduct going concern by the core value acting as the source of competitive advantage of the company.

  • The customer loyalty has been decreasing dramatically in e-Business environments such as cyber trading, shopping, banking, and portal services. However, little research has been done so far in order to analysis the newly emerging concept and changing nature of the e-Business customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the quality of e-Business information systems has any impact on customer loyalty. The quality, which is tee independent construct in this study, is divided into three variables: basic system quality, information contents quality, and service quality. Cyber systems of 40 domestic stock trading firms were chosen as target e-Business information systems Both online survey and traditional field survey were employed in order to collect data, and more than 8,000 cyber customers have responded. The results of statistical analysis show that all of three independent variables have statistically significant effects on customer loyalty and, among three variables, the basic system quality has the strongest impact.

  • We are entering into a era of enterprise computing that is characterized by an emphasis on broadband convergence, knowledge s haring, and calm services. Some people refer to this as the "ubiquitous" computing because its focus is on a high degree of connectivity between a company and its customers, suppliers, and channel partners. Ubiquitous computing technology, "RF" stands for "radio frequency"; the "ID" means "identifer". The tag itself of a computer chip and an antenna. The shortest metaphor is that RFID is like a bar-code but is read with an electromagnetic field rather than by a laser beam. Much has already been written about the use of RFID. But there is no has written about the use of RFID in the convention industry. Therefore this study have specific objectives as follows. 1. To give details on the use of RFID in convention. 2. To introduces the key concepts behind RFID technology. 3. To identify advantage & disadvantage of RFID technology using a BEXCO CASE study. 4. To study on ubiquitous convention using RFID and effective operation methods such as entrance identification system, session management, machine management, CRM management, visitor management, and contents management. This results provide into the current status of ubiquitous computing technology in convention industries. Specific advantages by using ubiquitous computing technology(RFID) are one-stop differentiate service, wireless internet service, use of visitor management system, entrance by tag, and U-logistics. On other side, disadvantages are security, stabilization of RFID system, higher price of RFID tag, and commercial scale. Convention by using of RFID technology is currently at an early stage. Convention company as BEXCO need to have the capabilities to adapt, to customize, to commercialize, and to modify technology to suit our circumstances.

  • This study tries to survey general behaviors of the users and their's perceptions on the service quality, with the staff members' expectations, of the Information Commons in the National Digital Library of Korea. 'Computer Cluster,' 'User guide service' and 'Internet information' are most used and general facilities, services, and contents are most satisfied. The comparative analysis shows that the customers' perceptions of overall satisfaction, customer loyalty, and service quality and overall satisfaction of each three primary dimensions(library staff, resources and services, facility and physical environment) are higher than those of staff members' expectations.

  • Virtual reality is a combination of various studies, such as programming, simulation, and computer graphics. This type of new cultural paradigm requires novel concept of contents development and information exchange. This research uses 3D virtual reality technology in new equipment called I-Bench Mobile which let user to interact with the equipment for completing furniture disposition task. The simulation is manufactured in 3D with application of physics, and the ultimate goal of it is to increase customers' satisfaction by allowing them to enjoy snap shot function for arranging furniture at exact desired place. This research requires not only coding techniques but also educating process in both engineering and art, such as computer science, media art design, and visual communication; therefore, the development of software by facilitating Virtual/Augmented Reality technology in this research is a good example of fusion IT technique education.

  • 병원의 의료 서비스에 대한 고객의 불만과 고충 내용을 분석하여 불만족을 파악함으로써 고객 불만족의 재발을 막고 이에 대한 해결방안을 제시하고 적용하는 고객만족 경영 전략을 수립하고자 분석한 결과 다음과 같다. 1. 조사대상자의 성별은 남자가 높은 분포를 보였고 계절별로는 환자측면과 보호자측면 모두 여름에 높았고 요일별로는 모든 측면에서 월요일에 불만족이 많았다. 이용형태별로는 환자측면은 외래가, 보호자측면은 입원이 높았고 발생부서별로는 환자측면과 보호자측면 모두 진료부에 대한 불만사항이 많았고 소리함을 통한 접수가 많았다. 2. 불만요일별 항목 특성 중 진료서비스 항목은 진료정 확성이 높은 분포를 보였고 보호자는 진료서비스에서, 환자는 절차서비스에서 높은 불만을 보였다. 3. 발생부서별로는 절차서비스는 진료지원에서 높은 점수가, 진료서비스는 진료부에서 높은 점수를 보였으며 친절서비스에서는 간호부가 높은 점수를 보였고 편의환경서비스에서는 행정부가 높은 점수를 보였으며 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.4. 불만요인별 상관관계의 결과는 진료서비스는 성별의 역 상관관계를 보였다. 친절서비스는 성별과 연령이 정상관 관계를 보였고, 진료서비스는 역상관 관계를 보였다. 절차서비스는 성별과 연령, 진료서비스, 친절서비스가 역상관 관계를 보였다. 편의환경서비스는 성별과 연령이 정상관 관계를 보였고, 진료서비스, 친절서비스, 절차서비스는 역상관 관계를 보였다. 현 의료서비스에 대한 고객의 불만 및 고충 내용이 병원 의료서비스의 질을 개선하는데 이바지할 수 있는 기초자료로써 그 의의가 있다.
