In this paper, we propose a web-based content syndication system in which users can easily choose Internet protocol television (IPTV) contents. This system generates personalized content guide to provide a list of IPTV contents with respect to users' interests and statistics information of their online social community. For this, IPTV contents and relevant metadata are collected from various sources and transformed. Then, the service and content metadata are processed by user metadata including audience measurement and community metadata. The metadata flows are separated from content flows of transport network. The implementation of IPTV content syndication system demonstrates how to arrange IPTV contents efficiently from content providers to the end user's screen. We also show that the user metadata including online community information are important for the system's performance and the user's satisfaction.

Enterprise Content Integration (ECI)is an IT strategy that improves enterprise' competitive advantages by integrating enterprise wide information and content into a unified view, which in turn supports efficient and effective decision making. Content Syndication Systems (CSS) is a solution that implements the ECI strategy. In semi-conductor industries, it is usual that enterprise content is scattered over tens of legacy systems. Therefore, engineers in semi-conductor companies spend a few hours to locate required engineering information on a daily basis as part of their jobs. In this paper, we develop an enterprise CSS system that integrates enterprise wide contents into a unified view that is suitable for semi-conductor industries. For this research, we first define enterprise CSS, then identify their systems requirements. Then we propose an architecture supporting the identified requirements, and present the implemented prototype. One of the most important requirements is the individualized subscription rule setting for engineering information. For this purpose, we developed methods to represent the information properties and subscription rules.

Many data on the web are present, put out by processing in the content in order to provide services by collecting the necessary data is not easy. One of the reasons is because there is no way to provide a standardized data. Therefore, it can be seen as a part or all of the contents of the site, the content distribution to be available for other services is very important. A syndication format that allows you to use a representative of some or all of the site's content for other services such as RSS and there are Atom, OPML-based XML. Throughout the links provided in this syndication format is called feed address. With a feed address to collect data faster than the conventional HTML parsing and data provider is the advantage of being able to easily provide the data to the outside. In this study, we feed the data obtained by collecting by implementing the web address based on the data acquisition system to propose a method for processing and utilizing the data as a background.

The RSS which is a kind of syndication technology enables a part or the whole of the content which it provides from web site to be able to be used in different service. It is protocol to summarize and share various contents on web site. This Paper propose the ways to implement system to aggregate RSS feed and archive it and the services using it. Also, the users register the channel RSS to the RSS aggregator system and recommend it. It can drive to share of knowledge between researchers.

본 논문에서는 Content의 배급 및 구독을 위해 등장한 시맨틱 웹의 대표적인 기술인 RSS 를 통하여 모바일 환경에서의 사용자가 원하는 Content를 전달 받을 수 있는 시스템을 제안하고 있다. 이 시스템은 DCD Server를 사용하여 각 Content에 대한 정보를 담고 있게 되며, UDDI를 이용하여 사용자가 원하는 Content를 키워드 검색으로 통해 지정할 수 있게 된다. 또한 사용자가 선택한 각각의 Content는 RSS를 통하여 사용자의 모바일 Client로 전달되게 된다.

Coupled schemes between service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Web 2.0 have recently been researched. Web-based content providers and telecommunications company (Telecom) based Internet protocol television (IPTV) providers have struggled against each other to accommodate more three-screen service subscribers. Since the advent of Web 2.0, more abundant reproduced content can be circulated. However, because according to increasing device's resolution and content formats IPTV providers transcode content in advance, network bandwidth, storage and operation costs for content management systems (CMSs) are wasted. In this paper, we present a user centric CMS for open IPTV, which integrates SOA and Web 2.0. Considering content popularity based on a Zipf-like distribution to solve these problems, we analyze the performance between the user centric CMS and the conventional Web syndication system for normalized costs. Based on the user centric CMS, we implement a social Web TV with device-aware function, which can aggregate, transcode, and deploy content over social networking service independently.

New and creative skills must be developed, and adapted into a lesson, to motivate learners to acquire a second language easily and enjoyment, Multimedia tools which are of interest to learners, such as; smart phones, computers, and notebooks with wireless internet compatability, will provide learners opportunities to study, and do their work practically anywhere and anytime. Recently, podcasts, which are a type of digital media, consisting of a series of audio episodes or video files, subscribed to and downloaded through web syndication, or streamed online to a computer or mobile device, are used to facilitate ESL (English as a Second Language) learning. Development of a variety of teaching methods, using multimedia tools, is needed. There are advantages and disadvantages to using a variety of multimedia tools. The current research aims to study its characteristics and application, in order to maximize their effective use, in English education. The current study suggests a ubiquitous learning environment using multimedia content tools, internet media, video teleconferencing, cyber-learning, and one-to-one videos used in conjunction with, or as a digital textbook for the English lesson. This study also investigates future educational changes, using state-of-the-art equipment for the self-learning experience, and will present a new direction in English education, through a variety of instructional devices and a marginalized class system model.
