습식공법으로 제조한 목탄-목재섬유복합재료의 에틸렌가스 흡착력과 과일 신선도 유지 효과 (Ethylene gas adsorption capacity and preserving effect of fruit freshness of Charcoal-fiberboard by wet forming process)

  • This research was carried out for packing materials and building materials to examine thylene gas adsorption and effect of keeping fruit fresh of wet formed charcoal-fiber mposite made from defibrated fiber of Pinus densiflora Sieb. et Zucc. and white charcoal from uercus variabilis Bl.(wood fiber: charcoal=8:2, 6:4, 4:6, 2:8), with/without phenol formaldehyde resin(PF, Non volatile content:$52\%$, resin content $1,3,5\%$). The results are summarized as follows: 1. The higher the charcoal content, the more the ethylene gas adsorption. At the same mixing ratio of fiber to charcoal, $\#100-200$ of charcoal particle size gave the better reslts than $\#60-100$. 2. Adding PF into the charcoal fiber composite decreased the capacity of ethylene gas adsorption but there was no significant difference until $5\%$ adding amount of PF. 3. For keeping fruit fresh for a long time, Charcoal fiber composite was $66\%$ longer than control. The higher the white charcoal content, the longer fresh time.

근적외선 분광광도법을 이용한 PVC포장재 중 DEHP 정량법에 관한연구 (A method for quantitative analysis of DEHP in PVC packing material by Near-Infrared Spectroscopy)

  • NIRS(Near infrared spectroscopy) scanning from 1300nm to 2400nm was appl ied for the DEHP(di-(2 ethylhexyl)phthalate) in PVC(polyvinyl chloride_packing material. All samples were devided into calibration group and validation group. As a result of conduction the multiple regression analysis on the correlation between the NIR spectrum data and chemical assay value obtained by the Korea Food Sanitation Act. The validation model for measuring the DEHP content had R of 0.997, SEC of 0.132, SEP of 0.176 by MLR and R of 0.996, SEC of 0.142, SEP of 0.198 by PLS and the detection limit was 0.1%. The obtained results indicate that the NIR procedure can potentially be used as a nondestructive analysis method for the purpose of rapid and simple measurement of DEHP in PVC packing material.

백도 및 포장조건별 쌀의 저장 중 품질 특성 (The Quality of Milled Rice with Reference to Whiteness and Packing Conditions during Storage)

  • 본 연구에서는 백도 및 포장조건에 따른 저장 중 쌀의 품질특성을 구명하기 위하여 백도36, 38, 40 및 42의 4수준과 지대포장, 밀폐 PE포장 및 타공 PE포장의 포장조건 3수준에 대하여 8주간 저장하면서 품질 및 관능검사를 실시하였다. 지대포장과 타공 PE포장, 밀폐 PE포장 등 통기성이 높은 순서로 저장기간에 따라 함수율 및 중량감소가 심하였으며, 동할율도 많이 증가였으며, 지방산가 증가는 적었다. 또한, 백도별로는 함수율, 중량변화 및 동할율에서는 큰 차이가 없는 반면, 초기 백도가 낮을수록 저장기간에 따라 지방산가의 증가가 심하였다. 관능검사 결과, 백도가 높을수록 초기, 저장 4주, 8주후에도 전반적인 품질이 우수하였으며, 포장조건에 따라서는 타공 PE포장, 밀폐 PE포장, 지대포장순서이었다.

세척 깻잎의 선도 유지에 대한 세척수 온도와 포장 형태의 영향 (Effect of Water Temperature and Packing Type on Quality of Fresh-Cut Sesame Leaf)

  • 본 연구에서는 1 및 $5^{\circ}C$의 냉수와 $13^{\circ}C$의 지하수를 이용하여 세척한 후 PP film bag과 PETE tray로 포장하여 4 및 $10^{\circ}C$에서 9일간 저장하며 품질을 비교하였다. $1^{\circ}C$ 냉각수로 세척하고 PETE tray로 포장한 경우 0.25%로 감모율이 가장 낮았고 이는 같은 냉수로 세척한 후 PP film bag로 포장한 0.39%보다 더 낮게 나타났다. 호흡속도는 $1^{\circ}C$ 냉수세척 처리하여 PETE tray로 포장하고 4 및 $10^{\circ}C$에서 저장한 9일 후 각각 45.71 및 53.15 mg $CO_2/kg/hr$로 PP film bag으로 포장한 경우보다 낮은 호흡률을 나타내었다. 표면색 변화에 있어서는 L 및 b값이 크게 변하지 않았고 비타민 C의 경우 초기 35 mg% 내외에서 저장 9일째에 $12{\sim}20\;mg%$로 감소하였으며, 1 및 $5^{\circ}C$의 세척수 온도별 유의적인 차이는 5 mg% 정도로 크지 않았다. 저장 9일째 $4^{\circ}C$에서 $1^{\circ}C$ 세척 처리하고 PETE tray로 포장하여 저장한 깻잎의 총균수는 $6.25{\times}10^4\;CFU/g$, 대장균군수는 $5.95{\times}10^2\;CFU/g$로 미생물수의 증식속도가 가장 느렸다. $1^{\circ}C$ 냉수로 세척하고 PETE tray로 포장하여 $4^{\circ}C$로 저장한 경우 깻잎 고유의 초록색과 향을 유지하고 있어 저온냉수 세척과 tray 포장이 세척 청경채의 선도 유지에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

세척 청경채의 선도 유지에 대한 세척수 온도와 포장 형태의 영향 (Effect of Water Temperature and Packing Type on Quality of Fresh-cut Pak-choi)

  • 본 연구예서는 1 및 $6^{\circ}C$의 냉수를 이용하여 세척한 후 PP film bag과 PETE tray로 포장하여 4및 $10^{\circ}C$에서 9일간 저장하며 품질을 비교하였다. $4^{\circ}C$에서 9일간 저장한 경우 1 및 $6^{\circ}C$에서 세척하고 PEIE tray로 포장한 청경채에서 감모가 거의 일어나지 않았다. $10^{\circ}C$ 저장고에서 9일째 저장한 경우 무처리하고 PP film bag으로 포장한 청경채의 감모율 0.37 %에 비하여 $1^{\circ}C$로 세척하고 PETE tray로 포장한 경우 감모율은 0.19 %로 낮게 나타났다. 호흡속도는 $1^{\circ}C$ 냉수 세척 처리하여 PETE tray로 포장하고 4및 $10^{\circ}C$에서 저장한 9일 후 각각 38.41 및 43.11mg $CO_2$/kg/hr로 PP film bag으로 포장한 청경채의 9일째 호흡속도 48.16및 59.47mg $CO_2$/kg/hr보다 낮게 나타났다. 저장 9일째 $1^{\circ}C$ 냉각수로 세척 처리하고 PETE tray로 포장하여 $4^{\circ}C$에 저장한 경우 무처리한 청경채의 총균수는 $1.0{\times}10^5$ CFU/g, 대장균군수는 $1.3{\times}10^1$ CFU/g였으며 6일째까지 대장균군수는 검출되지 않았다. PETE tray으로 포장된 경우보다 PP film bag로 포장된 경우 잎의 변색과 조직의 변화가 더욱 심하였으며 $1^{\circ}C$ 냉수로 세척하고 PETE tray로 포장하여 $4^{\circ}C$로 저장한 경우 청경채 고유의 초록색과 아삭한 조직감을 유지하고 있어 저온냉수 세척과 tray포장이 세척 청경채의 선도 유지에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

감(대봉시(大奉枾))의 냉장(冷藏)에 있어서 포장효과(包裝效果)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Effect of Some Packing Materials in Chilling of Persimmon (Teabong- Si))

  • The sample persimmons were obtained from the of Yung-am Kun, Korea on October 24, and November 9, 1973. These persimmons were kept at room temperature overnight, then packed and stored on the following day at $0^{\circ}C$ and $85{\sim}100%$ humidity. Seven experimental items were studied : 1. control, 2. packing with excelsior in wooden boxes, 3. packing with rice hull in wooden boxes, 4. packing in bags of 0.03 mm polyethylene membrane, 5. packing in bags of 0.06 mm polyethylene membrane, 6. packing in bags of 0.08 mm polyethylene membrane, 7. packing in sealed desiccators. The dimension of polyethylene bags were $14{\times}28cm$ and three persimmons were packing in each bag. The results are as follows: 1. The persimmons both in polyethylene bags and in desiccators lost only 1 % or less of weight, while in control (1) packing with excelsior (2) or with rice hull (3) the loss was 6-7 % in weight after $2{\sim}3$ months. The persimmons became visibly shriveled and spongy-like in it's texture when it lost 5 % of weight. 2. Carbon dioxide content within the polyethylene bags and desiccators rapidly increased during the early storage period, and reached 5 % (in 0.03 mm polyethylene bags) to 50 % or more (in desiccator) after 1 month. In the polyethylene bags of 0.08 mm and desiccator, the carbon dioxide accumulated to a dangerous level and the persimmon showed physiological damage in a longer storage period. 3. The advance of after-ripening and deterioration of persimmon sealed in the polyethylene bags was slower than that in open bags when moved out to room temperature from the chilling and the polyethylene bags of 0.06 mm retarded the after-ripening most effectively. 4. On the basis of these results, a temperature of $0^{\circ}C$, relative humidity of almost $85{\sim}100%$ and combinations of 5 % oxygen and $5{\sim}8%$ carbon dioxide seem to be the optimum condition for the storage of persimmon (Teabong-Si). The most successful method of storing was to pack them in polyethylene bags of 0.06 mm and then to store them at $0^{\circ}C$.

혐기성 고정상반응기와 슬러지 Bed반응기에서 혼합-식품폐수처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mixed-Food Wastewater Treatment in an Anaerobic Packed Bed Reactor and Sludge Bed Reactor)

  • The characteristics of food wastewater treatment in an anaerobic packed bed reactor (APBR) with polyurethane as a packing material and sludge bed reactor (ASBR) was studied. The reactor of 9cm-ID, 150cm-height was fed in a continuous mode from bottom of reactor. For the purpose of constant temperature of reactor, water jacket was installed. The used packing materials was polyurethane sponge foam. Methane which was produced by decomposed organics collected at the top of the reactor for using as a fuel. The substrates used were synthetic, mixed and food wastewater. For the acclimatization of microorganisms, mixed wastewater was used. The major analyses were gas production, COD, pH and volatile acids. Based upon the completed works, the results are as follows: When food wastewater was fed the quantity of produced gas was less than that of synthetic wastewater, but food process saw higher methane content than synthetic process. As well as COD removal efficiency of food process reached at about 85%. In aspect of effluent volatile acid, food process showed low concentration of below 500 mg/l, therefore anaerobic reaction stabled. Conclusively food wastewater used can be digested by anaerobic treatment, especially anaerobic packed bed reactor showed 82% of COD removal, 75% of methane content, 10 l of gas production, and anaerobic sludge bed reactor did 79% of COD removal, 75% of methane content, 81 of gas production at 4 kgCOD/m$^3$day, 36$\circ$C.

세척수 온도와 포장 형태에 따른 신선편이 치커리의 품질 변화 (Effect of Water Temperature and Packing Type on Quality of Fresh-cut Chicory)

  • 본 연구에서는 $1^{\circ}C$$5^{\circ}C$의 냉수와 $10^{\circ}C$의 지하수를 이용하여 세척한 후 PP film bag과 PETE tray로 포장하여 $4^{\circ}C$$10^{\circ}C$에서 9일간 저장하며 품질을 비교하였다. $10^{\circ}C$에서 저장하고 PP film bag에 보관한 세척하지 않은 치커리는 9일째 1.58%로 감모율이 가장 높았으나 $1^{\circ}C$ 냉수로 세척 처리한 후 PETE tray에 담아 $4^{\circ}C$에서 저장한 치커리는 0.14%로 감모율이 가장 낮게 나타났다. $1^{\circ}C$ 냉수로 세척처리한 후 PEIT tray에 담아 $4^{\circ}C$에서 저장한 경우 9일째 치커리의 호흡속도는 20.34 mg $CO_2/kg/hr$로 동일한 세척처리 후 PP film bag에 저장한 치커리의 호흡속도 26.12 mg $CO_2/kg/hr$보다 낮게 나타났다. 표면색의 변화에 있어서 시료별 개체차이가 심하여 L, a, b값의 유의적인 변화는 없었지만 저장 초기와 9일째를 비교하였을 경우 값이 전반적으로 다소 증가하였음을 알 수 있었고, 비타민 C는 $4^{\circ}C$의 저장고에서 저장한 경우가 $10^{\circ}C$에서 저장한 경우보다 비타민 C함량이 높게 유지되었다. 미생물에 있어서는 $1^{\circ}C$ 냉수로 세척 처리하고 PETE tray로 포장하여 $4^{\circ}C$에서 저장한 후 9일째의 치커리는 총균수 $2.59{\times}10^5CFU/g$, 대장균군수 $6.80{\times}10^2CFU/g$로 미생물수의 증식속도가 가장 느렸다. $1^{\circ}C$ 냉수로 세척하고 PETE tray로 포장하여 $4^{\circ}C$로 저장한 경우 치커리 고유의 초록색과 아삭한 조직감을 유지하고 있어 저온냉수 세척과 tray 포장이 세척 청경채의 선도 유지에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

지역냉방용 직접순환식 아이스슬러리 시스템의 현장적용 사례 (A Field Application Case of Direct Ice Slurry Transporting System for District Cooling)

  • In order to investigate the feasibility of a direct ice slurry transporting system for the purpose of district cooling, a case study of field application is performed. The research aims include the field measurement of ice packing factor, the performance of coldness delivery, and the branching characteristics of ice slurry. Two representative types of pipe branch are dealt with in this work. For the slurry flow with ice volume fraction of 0.16 or less, the pipe blocking due to aggregation is not observed. Based on the time-wise variation of temperature in the storage tank, a calculating method of ice packing factor is newly developed, which seems to be useful when the brine concentration is unknown. It is confirmed that the mass flow rate of ice slurry per unit cooling load is markedly reduced with increasing the ice content. The pumping power also decreases, but remains unchanged for high ice fractions. The distribution of ice particle before and after branching shows a good uniformity within the range of 5% difference, but yields a unique trend depending on the flow rate.

Neutronics design of VVER-1000 fuel assembly with burnable poison particles

  • This paper presents neutronics design of VVER-1000 fuel assembly using burnable poison particles (BPPs) for controlling excess reactivity and pin-wise power distribution. The advantage of using BPPs is that the thermal conductivity of BPP-dispersed fuel pin could be improved. Numerical calculations have been conducted for optimizing the BPP parameters using the MVP code and the JENDL-3.3 data library. The results show that by using $Gd_2O_3$ particles with the diameter of $60{\mu}m$ and the packing fraction of 5%, the burnup reactivity curve and pin-wise power distribution are obtained approximately that of the reference design. To minimize power peaking factor (PPF), total BP amount has been distributed in a larger number of fuel rods. Optimization has been conducted for the number of BPP-dispersed rods, their distribution, BPP diameter and packing fraction. Two models of assembly consisting of 18 BPP-dispersed rods have been selected. The diameter of $300{\mu}m$ and the packing fraction of 3.33% were determined so that the burnup reactivity curve is approximate that of the reference one, while the PPF can be decreased from 1.167 to 1.105 and 1.113, respectively. Application of BPPs for compensating the reduction of soluble boron content to 50% and 0% is also investigated.
