Identification of Quantitative Trait Loci for Fatty Acid Content in Brown Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

  • The rice bran oil contained in brown rice is composed of highly valued ingredient. Improving the content of unsaturated fatty acids in rice seed, such as oleic acid, linoleic acid, and ${\alpha}$-linolenic acid, would provide more benefit to human health. Fatty acid content is quantitative trait controlled by multiple genes. We have utilized high-density SNP data from highly advanced breeding populations to identify QTLs for fatty acid contents in brown rice. Here, we identified 51 major QTLs (M-QTLs) and 25 epistatic QTLs (EpQTLs) related to eleven fatty acid contents. Eight and four M-QTLs were pleiotropically associated with the content of different fatty acids in MT-RILs and DT-RILs, respectively. Total effect of M-QTLs for palmitic acid (16:0), oleic acid (18:1), and linoleic acid (18:2), could explain phenotypic variations of 36.7%, 63.7%, and 41% in MT-RILs, respectively. Alpha-linolenic acid which is important for a human's health could be explained phenotypic variation of 15.7% by six M-QTLs. These QTLs identified in this study can be used to improve nutritious content in rice breeding programs.

  • 콘텐츠에서 자발적인 사용자 참여를 유도하고 유지하는 것은 매우 어렵지만 중요한 일이다. 그 예로 많은 인터넷 콘텐츠 등에서 사용자들의 참여와 그 유지를 위해 금전적 보상을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 금전적 보상처럼 외재적 동기만을 자극하는 등의 방식으로는 한계가 있으며, 콘텐츠의 대한 지속적이고 자발적인 사용자 참여를 얻기 위해서는 정교한 설계와 관리가 필요하다. 이를 위해, Gamified Learning Management System의 예를 참고하여, 기존의 Contents Management System(CMS)을 확장한 게임화 기반의 CMS(Gamified CMS)를 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로 사용자의 콘텐츠에 대한 참여와 몰입을 증대시키고자 한다.

Evaluation of the effects of seasonal raw materials and processing stages in feed mills implementing the HACCP system on mycotoxin content in feed

  • The levels of aflatoxin (AFT) and ochratoxin (OCT) were assessed at different seasons in raw materials, different feed manufacture processing stages, and animal feeds in feed mills in Korea implementing the hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) system. Two hundred samples were collected in all four seasons from five feed mills implementing the HACCP system and examined for AFT and OCT contents. The AFT and OCT levels were analysed by using HPLC method to provide information on raw material and product stage. The AFT content of raw ingredients in the spring season was highest in corn gluten (3.84 ppb) and lowest in corn (1.82 ppb) The AFT content of corn was highest in the winter season (2.17 ppb). The content of OCT in wheat was highest in the winter season. The amounts of AFT and OCT at processing stages were higher than in the raw materials or feed. In particular, AFT content was higher in the transfer stage (3.88 ppb) than in the mixing (2.86 ppb) or filling stages (3.45 ppb) in the summer season. The means of AFT and OCT level in laying hen feed was 3.41 ppb and 1.14 ppb for broiler feed, respectively. The means of AFT and OCT level in and broiler feeds was 3.44 ppb and 1.17 ppb for broiler feed, respectively.

A Study on the Effect of Online Travel Distribution's Brand Community Characteristics on Product Purchase Intention

  • Purpose: This study attempted to confirm the mediating effect of brand experience and to travel brand community satisfaction in the relationship between the characteristics of brand community contents and travel product purchase intention. This study also investigated the moderating role of consumer characteristics. Research design, data and methodology: Based on a total of 381 bytes of data, hypothesis verification was conducted using Smart-PLS 3.2.8 statistical package programs. Results: First, the content community travel brand attributes, personal affordability and creativity are a lingering fragrances on the intended consumers ' shopping trip. Second, information provision, interaction, and creativity, which are the characteristics of travel brand community content, influenced consumers' intention to purchase travel products through brand community satisfaction. Third, playfulness, vitality, and creativity, which are the characteristics of travel brand community content, influenced consumers' intention to purchase travel products through double mediation of the experience and community satisfaction of brand. Conclusions: Tourism industry managers should be able to market content by forming their own brand community. It is necessary to create an environment in which tourism industry managers can use social media travel brand community content to give discounts to consumers, provide creative, playful and vivid travel information.

만화콘텐츠 웹사이트의 콘텐츠 구성에 관한 사례연구: 한·일 만화박물관 사이트 비교분석 (The Case Study of the Content of Comics Museum Websites: Comparative Analysis on "Korea Manhwa Museum" and "Kyoto International Manga Museum")

  • 본 연구는 만화박물관의 웹사이트에서 제시되는 콘텐츠 분석을 목적으로 한 것으로서, 부천의 한국만화박물관과 일본 교토의 교토국제망가뮤지엄의 웹사이트를 대상으로 했다. 만화 전문 박물관으로서 두 박물관의 웹사이트가 제시하는 콘텐츠를 성격에 따라 홍보형 콘텐츠, 전문정보형 콘텐츠, 전시/체험형 콘텐츠로 구분해서 분석했다. 이러한 분석은 만화박물관의 웹사이트가 전문박물관으로서 그에 부합하는 만화관련 콘텐츠를 제시함으로서 박물관의 기능에 적합한 역할을 하고 있는지를 검토하기 위함이다. 분석 결과, 대체적으로 두 박물관 모두 세 유목에 해당하는 콘텐츠를 비슷하게 제시하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 오프라인 박물관의 시설현황과 전시 프로그램, 그리고 교육 관련 이벤트에 대한 콘텐츠는 공통적으로 제시하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 콘텐츠의 제시가 지향하는 목적은 차이가 있는 것으로 보인다. 한국만화박물관은 교토국제망가뮤지엄보다 인터넷의 기술적 특성을 좀 더 활용하면서 양방향적 커뮤니케이션과 더 많은 정보의 제공에 목적을 두고 있는 것으로 보인다. 반면에 교토국제망가뮤지엄은 이러한 점보다는 홍보적 성격의 콘텐츠를 강조하는 것으로 보인다. 연혁, 설립과정과 배경에 대한 설명이 구분되어 제시되는 점, 그리고 4가지의 외국어 사이트가 이를 뒷받침해주는 사례이다. 이는 두가지 목적 때문인 것으로 보이는데, 하나는 공동으로 운영되는 자치사업이라는 점이고 다른 하나는 방문대상을 해외까지 확대하고자 하는 점이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털 휴먼 컨텐츠 생성 시스템을 제안한다. 디지털 휴먼 컨텐츠 생성 시스템은 전신 스케닝을 통해 3D AI 모델링 작업을 하고, 3D 모델링 후처리와 텍스쳐링, 리깅 작업으로 제작된다. 이를 가상현실 컨텐츠 정보와 결합함으로써 가상현실 내에서 가상 모델의 자연스러운 동작이 이뤄질 수 있고, 하나의 시스템에서 효율적으로 디지털 휴먼 컨텐츠를 생성할 수 있다. 따라서 자원을 최소화하는 가상현실 기반의 디지털 휴먼 컨텐츠 생성이 가능하도록 하는 효과가 있다. 또한 사람에 의한 3D 모델링 및 텍스쳐링 작업은 전처리 과정을 필요로 하지 않는 자동화된 전처리 공정을 제공하며, 다양한 디지털 휴먼 컨텐츠를 효율적으로 관리하는 기술을 제공고자 한다. 특히 가상 모델을 구성하기 위한 3D 모델링 및 텍스쳐링 등의 전처리 공정은 인공지능에 의해 자동으로 수행되도록 함으로써 신속하고 효율적인 가상 모델 구성이 이뤄질 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 또한 시그니처 모션을 통해 디지털 휴먼 컨텐츠 구성 및 관리가 용이하게 이뤄질 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

건해태(김)의 아연 및 마그네숨 함양과 품질과의 관계 (THE RELATION BETWEEN QUALITY AND CONTENT OF ZINC AND MAGNESIUM IN DRIED LAVER, PORPHYRA TENERA KJELLMAN)

  • The growth of sea weeds is greatly affected by the environmental conditions of ambient water. Especially nutrient salts in sea water function as a major factor to the growth of lavers, so that the content of inorganic substances in lavers could he a criterion for quality evaluation of lavers. In this experiment, the relation between the quality and the content of Zinc and Magnesium which are not only physiologically active and closely related with pigments such as chlorophll and phycobilins but also important in quantify is discussed if such a measurement to be an index for quality evaluation. Sixteen samples of layers were collected from three different culture farms, 7 from Jangrim-Busan, 6 from Wando-Jeon Nam, 3 from Hadong-Gyeong Nam, and classified into 3 quality grades to each farm and to whole samples by organoleptic test. Zinc and Magnesium were analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. For pigment analysis, chlorphyll was extracted with 85 percent acetone, filtered and the absorbance was measured at 660 nm and the residue was further extracted with phosphoric buffer solution to determine the optical density for phycobilins at 560 nm. The result showed that the total content of Zinc and Magnesium varied between the farms, but kept consistent with quality grades from the same farm. The Zinc content was correlated proportion- ally with the content of phycobilins, and Magnesium content in total ash could roughly represent the content of chlorophll except some examples in which the Magnesium content of chlorophyll-ext ractresiduewasexceptionallyhigher. In conclusion the contents of these metals provide an applicable index for quality judgment of lavers.

경기도지역 어린이집과 유치원 급식의 소금함량 및 유아 식사준비자의 나트륨 섭취관련 식태도 조사 (A Survey on the Salt Content of Kindergarten Lunch Meals and Meal Providers' Dietary Attitude to Sodium Intake in Gyeonggi-do Area)

  • Dietary habit of excess sodium consumption is formed mainly by excessive salt intake from the younger age and this may lead to hypertension, stroke, and stomach cancer. This study was performed to estimate the salt content in kindergarten meals and provide basic data on meal providers' dietary attitude to sodium intake for nutrition education. We collected data on161 food items from 16 institutions in Gyeonggi-do and salt content was calculated from salinity and weight of individual food items. The average salt content from lunch meals was 2.2 g, which was about daily adequate intake of sodium for children aged 3 to 5 years old. Greatest contributor to the salt content in a meal was soup and stew (47.8%). The most salty dishes were sauces and kimchi followed by stir-fried food, deep-fried food, braised food, and grilled food. The salt content was higher in soup and stew despite of low salinity, due to the large quantity per serving. The salt contents of soups and kimchi were 40.6% and 14.3%, respectively of the total salt content in dish groups. Staff members and caregivers at home who prepared food for the child showed preference for one-dish rice meal, dried fish and salted mackerel, and broth when eating soup, stew, and noodles. Caregivers showed higher sodium index score and had higher preference for processed food such as Ramen, canned food, and ham compared with staff members (p < 0.05). These results suggested that monitoring salt content of kindergarten meals and nutrition education for those prepare meals for children are needed to lower sodium intake in childhood.

열펌 시술시 수분함량에 따른 모발의 물리적·형태학적 특성 변화 (Physical and Morphological Characteristics Change of Hair according to Water Content when Heat Permanent Wave is treated)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide beauticians with the fundamental material for them to use effectively heat permanent wave and satisfy their customers. It carried out an experiment with hair of a woman in her late twenties to investigate the change of physical and morphologic characteristics by its water content when performing heat permanent wave. It evaluated the water content as 0g, 1g, 2g, 3g and 4g respectively when performing the heat permanent wave on hair, then it compared and observed the wave type, tensile strength and elongation for its physical change also observed the morphologic change by scanning electronic microscope and transmission electronic microscope. The result of experiment on the physical specificity revealed that the wave was the most ideal when the water content was 2 g. The material with much water content made wave but the result was not satisfied. In the case of hair with water content of nearly 0g didn't make wave. In terms of tensile strength and elongation, the tensile strength was generally reduced as hair was damaged, on the contrary, the elongation was increased. It observed the change of morphologic characteristic and got the result that the damage on hair cuticle was deepen as its water content was decreased. It also showed the result that damage happened on hair cuticle more than hair cortex with the observation of fine structure on hair section by transmission electronic microscope. Generally chemical treatment damaged hair. Under consideration of this aspect, the ultimate goal of this thesis is to minimize the damage of hair caused by chemical treatment and get the satisfaction on the hair style. The result of experiment presented that the hair showed the best result when its water content was 2 g.

중국의 Mobile Device Platform 기반 영상콘텐츠 Application 연구 (A Study on Video Content Application Based on Mobile Device Platform in China)

  • 본 논문은 중국의 Mobil Device Platform 기반 영상콘텐츠 Application에 대해 분석하였으며 향후 발전 방안에 대해 연구하였다. 조사에 따르면 2019년 현재 중국의 인터넷 서비스 가입자와 앱 사용자는 전체 인구의 78%를 기록하였다. 독자적으로 Mobil Device Platform을 개발하여 영상콘텐츠 Application 서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 2013년부터 현재까지 동영상 앱 사용자 수가 6억 4천만 명으로 집계되었다. 이중 65%의 사용자는 두 개 이상의 영상콘텐츠 앱을 설치해 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 중국의 TikTok, Kuai Shou, MeiPai 등 영상콘텐츠 앱은 조작이 간편한 User Interface와 사용자가 손쉽게 영상콘텐츠를 직접 제작 가능하도록 촬영, 편집, 특수효과 등의 기능을 제공함으로서 10대, 20대, 30대 뿐만 아니라 40대 이상의 사용자까지도 끌어들이고 있다. 영상콘텐츠 제작기능 제공은 미국의 유명 동영상 플랫폼 You Tube와는 다른 차별화 된 특징이라 할 수 있다. 동영상 플랫폼 시장에서 핵심 경쟁력은 콘텐츠 창작에 달려있다. VR, AR 등의 영상공학을 융합한 영상콘텐츠는 동영상 플랫폼 시장을 더욱 활성화 시킬 전망이다.
