온산(溫山) 공단지역(工團地域)의 배출(排出)가스 (아황산(亞黃酸))가 농작물(農作物) 수량(收量) 및 식물체내(植物體內) 유황함량(硫黃含量)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect to Agricultural Crop Yield and Sulfur Content in Leaves by Sulfur Dioxide Gas Emission from Onsan Nonferric Metal Industrial Complex)

  • 아황산(亞黃酸)가스가 배출(排出)되는 공단주변(工團周邊)에서 재배(栽培)되는 배나무와 수도(水稻)의 엽내(葉內) 류황함량(硫黃含量) 및 감수율(減收率)을 조사(調査)하여 아황산(亞黃酸)가스가 수량(收量) 및 엽내(葉內) 류황(硫黃) 축적에 미치는 영향과 이들간의 관계(關係)를 규명하기 위해 실시한 실험(實驗)의 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1) 배나 수도(水稻) 공(共)히 대조지점(對照地點)에 비해 피해지점(被害地點)의 엽내(葉內) 류황함량(硫黃含量)이 높고 감수(減收)가 되는 경향을 보였다. 2) 배나 수도(水稻) 모두 엽내(葉內) 류황함량(硫黃含量)과 감수율간(減收率間)에는 매우 높은 유의상관(有意相關)을 보여 공해(公害)의 영향(影響)으로 감수(減收)가 된다는 것을 보여 주었다. 3) 류황산화물(硫黃酸化物)(SOx)을 주로 배출(排出)하는 공단주변(工團周邊)에 재배(栽培)되는 배나 수도(水稻)의 공해피해(公害被害)에 의한 보상(補償)을 위(爲)해서는 엽내(葉內) 류황함량(硫黃含量)과 실감수율(實減收率)과의 회귀식(回歸式)을 아황산(亞黃酸)가스 피해지(被害地)에서의 수량감수율(收量減收率) 조사(調査)에 참고(參考)함이 좋을 것으로 생각된다.

우리나라 중.고등학교 교과서에 나타난 간호관련 내용분석 (Analysis of Nursing-related Content Portrayed in Middle and High School Textbooks under the National Common Basic Curriculum in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze nursing-related content in middle, and high school textbooks under the National Common Basic Curriculum in Korea. Methods: Nursing-related content from 43 middle school textbooks and 13 high school textbooks was analyzed. Results: There were 28 items of nursing-related content in the selected textbooks. Among them, 13 items were in the 'nursing activity' area, 6 items were in the 'nurse as an occupation' area, 2 items were in the 'major and career choice' area, 6 items were 'just one word' and 1 item in 'others'. Conclusion: The main nursing related content which portrayed in the middle and high school textbooks were caring for patients (7 items accounting for 46.5%), nurses working in hospitals (6 items accounting for 21.4%). In terms of gender perspective, female nurses (15 items accounting for 53.6%) were most prevalent.

Quantification of Starch Content in Apples Using Image Analysis and Its Relationships to Physicochemical Properties

  • The starch content of apples, which is related to the maturity and ripeness, was quantified by using a computer vision system. The stained area was measured by image analysis when an apple slice was stained with KI/I$_2$ solution. The ratio of stained area of the apple slice to its whole area, so called the starch index, was defined as an indicator of the starch content. When Tsugaru apples were manually sorted into immature, turing and mature groups, their starch indices were 0.374, 0.312 and 0.129, respectively. The starch index had relationships to various physicochemical properties of Tsugaru apples. At the statistically significant level of 0.1%, it was correlated with the pH value, bio-yield force, rupture force and color of intact and skin-removed apples. At the 1% significant level, it had the correlation with the density and moisture content.

이기작에 따른 옥수수의 지방산 조성 및 Phytosterol 함량 변화 (Changes in Fatty Acid Composition and Phytosterol Content in Double Cropping Maize)

  • 옥수수 이기작에 따른 종실의 지방산조성과 phytosterol 함량의 변화를 검토하여 이기작의 조기정착화 및 수확된 농산물의 부가가치 향상을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 본 연구를 실시하여 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 전기작(4월 10일 파종) 옥수수 11품종의 평균 출사일수는 89.5일이었고, 후기작(7월 30일 파종) 옥수수의 평균 출사일수는 46.7일로서 후기작의 출사일수가 전기작에 비해 약 43일 빨랐다. 2. 전기작 옥수수 11품종의 평균 백립중은 28.4 g이었으나 후기작은 18.1 g으로 전기작에 비해 약 10.3 g (36.4%) 백립중이 감소되었고, 조지방 함량은 전기작이 3.97%, 후기작은 3.08%로서 전기작에 비해 약 0.89% 함량이 낮았다. 3. 전기작 옥수수의 지방산 조성은 linoleic 51.66% > oleic 29.52% > palmitic 14.33% > linolenic 2.30% > stearic acid 2.18%이었고, 후기작은 linoleic 53.06% > oleic 27.33% > palmitic 15.43% > linolenic 2.58% > stearic acid 1.61% 였다. 4. Stearic과 oleic acid의 조성비는 전기작이 통계적으로 유의하게 높았고, palmitic과 linoleic acid는 후기작이 높았으나 linolenic acid는 차이가 없었다. 5. 조지방 함량은 전·후기작 모두 linoleic acid와 부상관(전기작 -0.264ns, 후기작 -0.504**), linolenic acid와 정상관(0.526**)이 있었고, 불포화지방산 비율은 전기작 83.48%, 후기작 82.96%로서 이기작에 따른 유의차가 있었다. 6. 총 phytosterol 함량은 전기작이 598.3 mg/100g, 후기작은 701.9 mg/100g으로 이기작에 따른 유의차가 있었고, β-sitosterol은 이기작간 차이가 없었으나 campesterol 및 stigmasterol은 후기작의 함량이 전기작 보다 유의하게 높았으며, 불포화지방산은 phytosterol 함량과 전·후기작모두 유의한 부의 상관(전기작 -0.346*, 후기작 -0.468**)을 보였다. 7. Phytosterol 함량이 후기작에서 높았던 것은 등숙 중기부터 기온이 저하되면서 전분축적이 지연되어 종실의 충실도가 낮아진 반면 phytosterol은 전분보다 상대적으로 빠르게 종실 축적이 이루어졌기 때문인 것으로 사료되었다.

우리나라 서남해안 간척지 및 간석지 토양의 화학적 특성 (II) - 인의 형태별 함량 분포 - (Chemical Properties in the Soils of Reclaimed and Natural Tidelands of Southwest Coastal Area of Korea (II) - Distribution of Phosphorus Fractions -)

  • The chemical fractions of phosphorus were investigated in the soils of reclaimed and natural tidelands of southwest coastal area of Korea. The content of total-P varied to ranged from 322 to 614 mg/kg dry weight with a mean value of 467 mg/kg. The order of different fractions of phosphorus in reclaimed tideland soils was as follows: 1) inorganic phosphorus: Ca-P > Fe-P > Al-P > reductant soluble Fe-P. 2) organic phosphorus: Inositol-P > nucleic acid-P > phospholipid-P. The content of Al-P showed negative correlation with organic matter content but showed positive correlation with pH. The content of Fe-P showed negative correlation with clay mineral content but showed positive correlation with organic matter content. Reductant soluble Fe-P and Ca-P were no correlation with soil properties. The content of inositol-P showed highly positive correlation with clay mineral, organic matter content, and CEC.

서울 남산과 강원도 백적산의 신갈나무 숲에서 엽록소 함량 및 광합성능의 비교 (Comparison of Pigment Content and Photosynthetic Capacity of Quercus mongolica Stands at Namsan, Seoul and Paekcheoksan, Kangwondo)

  • 서울 남산과 강원도 백적산의 신갈나무 숲의 잎의 광합성 색소함량, 광합성능 및 증산율을 현장에서 측정하여 비교하였다. 서울 남산의 신갈나무의 광합성능, 광합성 색소함량 및 비엽면적이 강원도 백적산의 것보다 낮았다 신갈나무 잎의 광합성 색소함량은 6월초에 강원도 백적산보다 서울 남산이 많았으나 그 이후에 후자에서 적었고 두 지역 모두 시간이 경과함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 8월 이후에 서울 남산의 신갈나무 잎의 일부에서 반점이 출현하였다. 비엽면적은 서울 남산의 것에서 작았다. 잎의 광합성능은 서울 남산에서 7∼9 월에 더 낮았다.

HPLC analysis of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons(PAHs) in Mussels(Mytilus edulis) living in the Intertidal Zone of Kori, Korea

  • Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) are ubiquitous contaminants in coastal marine environment. PAHs enter estuarine and nearshore marine environment via several routes such as combustion of fossil fuels, domestic and industrial effluents and oil spills. In August of 1997, mussels(Mytilus edulis) were collected at 6 sites near Kori nuclear power plant in order to analyze the PAH content by HPLC with uv/vis detection. Unfortunately, I could not find any living oysters in which I firstly intended to measure the PAH content in the study area. NPTHL and ANCPL were the major dominant PAH compounds in mussels living in the intertidal zone of Kori, Korea, and DahA, BbF, BaP were the next dominant PAH group in mussels in the study area. The mean concentrations of 15 PAH in mussels ranged from 3.2 to 1,680 ppb(mean 105$\pm$60.5 ppb). Compared with other studies world over, the concentrations of carcinogenic PAHs were relatively low in mussels in the study area, even though total PAH content was rather high. According to N/P(Naphthalene/Phenanthrene) ratio(147) and the ratio of 2∼3 ring to 3∼5 ring PAHs(58∼90 %) in mussels in the study area, I expect that the major source of PAHs in this study area is rather fresh petroleum-derived. This study presents preliminary data for the PAH levels in mussels from the intertidal zone of Kori, and the data will hopefully be utilized for the assessment of oil pollution in the East Sea, Korea.

정보조직분야의 주요영역 및 내용요소 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of the Major Areas and Content Elements in the Information Organization Field)

  • 본 연구는 문헌정보학 정규교육과정에서 중점적으로 다뤄야 하는 정보조직분야의 주요 영역을 도출하고, 영역별 내용요소를 제안하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구, 내용분석, 설문조사 및 전문가평가를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 정보조직분야를 정보조직일반, 분류, 목록, 실습이라는 4영역으로 구성하고, 총 31개의 영역별 내용요소를 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 영역별로 도출된 내용요소들은 정보조직분야 교과목에 대한 강의계획안이나 교수 요목을 설계할 때 도움이 될 수 있는 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다. 또한, 본 연구에서 사용한 연구방법을 적용하여 정보조직분야의 주요 영역별 내용요소를 확장할 수 있기 때문에, 정보조직분야 교육내용을 설계를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

토양 코아 분석을 통한 화산 골프장의 조성된 그린에 대한 평가 (The Evaluation on the exiting greens of Hwasan Country Club by undisturbed Soil Core Analysis)

  • The subsurface environment of the root zone area can set the stae for "do or die" of the turfgrass plant. The good condition of the greens is verified by their physical properties. Therefore, this study was carried to evaluate on the existing green of Hwasan C.C. by undisturbed soil Core Anaysis. We completed the ISTRC SYSTEM BenchMarking of the undisturbed core samples taken from Green #1, Green #5, Green #9-"Best" area, and Green #9-"Stressed" area for the Hwasan C.C.. It was also our understanding that the greens were in "good" to "very good" conditioni. THe exception might be Green #9-"Stress" area, which was the stressed area. The stressed area was confined to a ridge across Green #9. The organic content test results comfirmed the development of organic layering in depth 0-2.5cm. For the amount of compaction in the upper root zones and te development of the green's respective organic layers, the infiltration rates were high in Green #1, Green #5, and Green #9 "Stressed" area. The depicted aerificaton hole might be the probable cause of the relatively high infiltraton rate. Green #9-"Best" area had a tested infiltration rate of 18.75cm/hr. Either this area had not been aerified, or the undisturbed sample did not contain a aerification cavity. The water retention capacity of the undisturbed samples was good. When the greens were first constructed, the original root zone mix had been relatively low water retention properties. And the bulk density and the porosity of the undisturbed samples were good. In the result, all the greens were similar except for the infiltration. Thus, we supposed that Green #9-"Stressed" area might be ainly influenced by the amount of irrigation water and the configuration of the green's surface. There had been a reduction in the amount of irrigation water as the water retention capacity in the greens was promoted. Especially, it had gradually become more of a problem as the green had matured in Green #9-"Stressed" area. Because Green #9-"Stressed" area was a ridge area. The reduction in the amount of irrigation water might be the probable cause of the stress in Green #9-"Stressed" area. Our final observation related to the soil texture and the particle size distribution of the sand. Though and sand contant of all the tested greens were good, the gravel content of them exceeded ISTRC Guidelines. In particle size distribution of the sand, the very coarse and the coarse content of all the tested greens exceeded, but the rest was insufficient. The stability is a function of the material retained on the 0.25mm mesh screen. But, the content of all the tested greens was very insufficient. Though all the greens was serviceable, the coarse root zone sands, such as the sand in the tested greens, tended to be "unstable". Thus, we recommend using a topdressing/aerification sand which should be more in line with ISTRC/USGA Guidelines.;unstable".
