  • Building trust assurance particularly in case of commercial practices in cyber space without physical contact is a very complex task to tackle. Several factors are interrelated in not necessarily technical but also societal dimensions over the entire process of e-commerce firm ex-ante through ex-post transactions. This paper attempts first to brief the substance of e-trust and examine the natuure of its complexity by using system dynamics simulation technique, followed by its current address and the future directions to move. A framework of 3 x 3 matrixes is deviaed and the key issues of e-trust are mapped into cross-cells of the table. The paper also includes some possible suggestions on the matter of trust assurance especially for B2C and B2B in policy wise and organizational perspective from the context of international collaboration.

  • Statement of problem: When an implant is fixed, a fixture comes into contact with a tissue fluid. Adhesion of a tissue fluid to a surface of implant is various case by case. Purpose: The ultimate goal of this work is to analyze a correlation between a surface roughness and wettability of implant specimens. A measurement for wettability is performed considering 4 types of specimen implant with surface treatments different from each other to investigate the change of wettability with the elapse of time. Material and methods: Firstly, 20 specimens of titanium were prepared. The specimen were made of a commercial Titanium Grade IV with the diameter of 10 mm and the thickness of 1 mm. According to the method of surface treatment, the specimens were classified into 4 groups of 5 specimens per group. Group A: Machined Surface Group B: Anodized surface Group C: RBM (HA blasting) surface Group D: CMP (calcium methaphosphate) coating surface. Surface roughness of specimen was measured using SV-3000S4 (Mituyoto, Japan). The measurement was based on the standard of JIS1994. Sessile drop method was used to measure the wettability, which measures contact angle between implant disc and saline with the time interval of 5, 10, and 15 seconds. SPSS 11.0 was used to analyze the collected data. In order to analyze the difference of wettability and surface roughness according to implant surface treatment method. The statistical significance was tested with the confidence level of 95%. Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to evaluate the correlation of surface roughness and wettability. Results: The difference of surface roughness was statistically significant in the order of Group C ($1.69{\pm}0.26$), Group D ($1.58{\pm}0.16$), Group B ($0.78{\pm}0.14$) Group A ($0.18{\pm}0.05$). The wettability has also a statistically significant difference, which was in the order of group B ($17.70{\pm}2.66$), Group C ($27.86{\pm}4.52$), Group D ($66.28{\pm}3.70$) Group A ($70.52{\pm}8.00$). There was no difference in wettability with the passage of time. Conclusions: 1. The surface roughness was high in the order of RBM, CMP, Anodized, Machined group (P<.05). 2. The wettability was high in the order of Anodized, RBM, CMP, Machined group (P<.05). 3. There was no statistical significance in the correlation of surface roughness and wettability.

  • Recently, the role of the contact center for business-to-consumer (B2C) operations is becoming more and more important as the customer contact point. In particular, an Internet Protocol (IP)-based contact center system is made up of a complicated information system in order to accommodate various customer channels, in addition to the telephone, and to respond in real time. However, until now, evaluations of contact centers have focused on customer service-based research from inbound contact centers. We used the contact center as a measure of performance, focusing on indicators that have traditionally influenced customer satisfaction, such as response rates and service levels. There is insufficient research on the characteristics of the services that a contact center should have and on the evaluation models for information systems. The role of information systems is becoming important as the latest contact center, which has moved from the TDM-driven digital phone system center to the IP-based contact center, accommodates a variety of digital channels other than voice phones. In particular, as offline branches decrease due to the development of the Internet and mobile phones, non-facing responses to customers are important, so the contact center has influenced the enterprise. Therefore, we developed an evaluation model not only in terms of customer service, but also from information system and business aspects, using the AHP and verifying the evaluation model through empirical cases. In particular, content analysis was used to ensure objectivity of AHP evaluation items.

  • Newly designed structure of a thin ultrasonic rotary motor was proposed. Thin brass plate was used as a cross shaped vibrator and eight ceramic plates were attached on the upper and bottom sides of the brass plate as in Figure 1. The thin type ultrasonic motor has the structure adherent piezoelectric ceramic on the top and bottom surface of the thin elastic body. The direction of polarization is decided so as to occur the elliptical displacement in regular sequence at touch point A, B, C and D of stator contacted with rotor. By applying two electric fields which have 90 degree phase difference on the ceramics, each contact points make rotational displacements as in figure 2. Finite element analysis program ATILA was used to find the optimal size of the stator. As a result of the simulation, elliptical displacements of the tips were obtained at off-resonance frequencies. The maximum displacements of the contact tips were obtained at the length of 16[mm], width of 6[mm] and thickness of 0.4[mm]. Changes of the resonance frequencies were inversely proportional to the length of ceramic and proportional to the width of ceramic. Elliptical motions of the contact tips. of the stator were consistently obtained at off resonance frequencies. From a prototype motor, speed of 600[rpm] was obtained at 20[Vrms].

  • The plasma processing is applied to many industrial fields as thin film deposition or surface treatment technique. In this study, we investigated large-area uniformed surface treatment of PET film at low temperature by using Scanning Plasma Method(SPM). Then, we measured difference and distribution of temperature on film's surface by setting up a thermometer. We studied the condition of plasma for surface treatment by examining intensity of irradiation of uniformed plasma. And we compared contact angles of treated PET film by using Ar and $O_2$ plasma based low temperature. In our result, surface temperature of 3-point of treating is low temperature about $22^{\circ}C$, in other hands, there is scarcely any variation of temperature on film's surface. And by using Ar plasma treatment, contact angle is lower than untreatment or $O_2$ plasma treatment. In case of PET film having thermal weak point, low temperature processing using SPM is undamaged method in film's surface and uniformly treated film's surface. As a result, Ar plasma surface treatment using SPM is suitable surface treatment method of PET film.

  • The surface status of a workpiece determines its functionality, product quality, and manufacturing costs. Thus, several finishing technologies have been widely investigated and applied to improve surface characteristics. In this study, rotational electro-magnetic abrasive finishing (REMAF) was suggested as a non-contact finishing process to achieve high geometric precision. To verify the effects of the REMAF process on burr removal on the surface of Al6061, experiments were conducted using the Taguchi method. Based on the experimental results analyzed by the S/N ratio and ANOVA, the optimal conditions were defined as A3B2C3D3 that corresponded to 1,800 rpm of rotational speed, 1.5 kg of abrasive particle weight, 0.7 mm of abrasive diameter, and 15 min of working time. In addition, the particle weight was a key attribute for deburring, whereas the working time was less effective.

  • Objective : A study and development of Korean Bobsleigh athletes's shoe which considers their physical condition has yet to be completed. So this study examines the effects of running shoes used by athletes based on plantar pressure and sprint time in order to provide raw data for the development of bobsleigh shoes suitable for Koreans. Method : The study selected seven bobsleigh athletes as subjects and selected three pairs of spiked running shoes from three companies, which will be referred to as Company N (Type A), Company A (Type B), and Company M (Type C). To analyze sprint time and plantar pressure for each shoe, the subject of the study were instructed to wear the selected shoes and to drag a sled at maximum sprint for 15 meters for 15 meters for in each condition that would be in real bobsleigh competitions. Results : The average sprint intervals for each athlete in each pair of shoes revealed Type C produce the fastest sprint in the order of Type C < Type A< Type B. Shoe Type C also had the largest contact area in order of Type C > Type B > Type A (p<.01). None of the three shoe types seem to yield a distinct advantage in terms of maximum average pressure or maximum pressure. Conclusion : In the future, functional analysis should be carried out by comparing the material properties, hardness, and toe spring of shoes based on the Type C shoe from Company M in order to develop bobsleigh shoes suitable for Koreans.
