남성 정장 구매행동에 관한 연구(제2보) -20∼40대 남성을 중심으로- (A Study on Men's Suit Purchasing Behaviors (Part II) Focus on Men in Their 20's∼40's-)

  • This study was attempted to segment the male consumers' market for men's suit based on brand preferences and to identify the group differences in apparel purchasing behaviors and demographic features and to suggest basic information applicable to marketing strategy. 705 men were selected for the study; they were in their twenties through forties, and they lived in Seoul and its suburbs. 655 survey questionnaires were collected and used for analysis. Using the SAS package, frequency, factors, reliability, correlation, genealogical group analysis, distribution analysis, the ($\chi$$^2$-test and the Duncan test for verification were actualized for analysis. The findings of this study were as follows: First, male-suit consumers tend to prefer the national brand(61.07%), licensed brand(19.39%), volume character brand(7.63%), prestige character brand(6.56%), and directly imported brand(5.34%) in order. Second, there were significant differences in apparel shopping orientations, purchasing behavior variables and demographic variables among the 5 classified groups.

숙녀복 치수표기법에 대한 소비자의 선호도 조사연구

  • This study investigated whether consumer's characteristics affect their preference of size labeling systems. The survey included 443 women 20 to 64 years of age. The results show that the consumers' preferences of five size labeling systems were different significantly. Subjects strongly prefered the size label in use for many years at the marker. The consumers' preference for various systems was different by resident area, educational level, and body types of the subjects. The system with information on body measrements was prefered by the resident in the metro city area than the resident in the small city. The simplest system was strongly prefered by the subjects having no difficulties on purchasing ready-to-wear garments that reasonably fit their bodies. The subjects belonged to the low educational level strongly prefered the simplest system.

브랜드 아파트의 주동 입면 디자인에 대한 소비자들의 선호도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Preference of Consumers for facade Design with Brand Concepts in Apartments)

  • In the recent years, domestic construction companies have tried to differentiate their apartments using brand positioning. Respective construction companies are attracting public attention with discriminative brands. This study investigated residents' preferences focusing on apartments facade design used in marketing strategy of brand apartments. Four concepts in surveyed brand apartments are deluxe, modern, eco-friendly and comfortable. According to the related study on design factor of apartment facade, the design factors are chosen such as the overall building shape, balcony form, main color, exterior wall shape, material, main access shape, pent house design and window size. As a result of analysis, there was a difference between brand concepts and consumers' views. Therefore, apartment facade design to differentiate their own companies' brand images should consider the perception of customers.

An Empirical Research on Cultural Identity and Purchase Intention of Foreign Goods

  • Multinational enterprises have adopted the form of business to successfully operate globally, and the overseas project has brought huge cultural exchange and penetration. The cultural liberalization also has improved the manufactured goods production and effect the consumers' purchase intentions. In this paper we focused on the influence factors that effected the cultural output, by investigating the actual consume market, using Structure Equation model(SEM model) to test the relationships among cultural preferences and purchase intentions of foreign products. Also, we evaluated the consumers' ethnocentrism's influences on cultural identity with other nations' cultural background. Lastly, we concluded that cultural identity has influences and complicate individual thoughts and purchase actions, it provides significance of impact of nation's soft power and whole economic development, and ethnocentrism has no significant influences on consuming foreign manufacture goods.

  • 본 연구는 스포츠웨어 선택기준으로 스포츠웨어 시장을 세분화하고 세분화된 시장간 스포츠웨어 추구 혜택, 국내 및 해외 브랜드에 대한 태도, 스포츠웨어 선호이미지의 차이를 보고자 하였다. 자료수집은 서울에 거주하는 성인남녀를 대상으로 총 773부의 설문지를 통계분석에 사용하였다. 통계는 요인분석, 군집분석, t-test, 카이 검정을 사용하였으며, 자료분석 결과 스포츠웨어 시장은 브랜드/디자인, 기능성 중심의 두 세분시장으로 나누어졌으며 두 세분시장은 스포츠웨어 추구혜택, 국내 및 해외 브랜드에 대한 태도, 스포츠웨어 선호이미지에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 브랜드/디자인을 중요한 선택기준으로 하는 세분시장은 스포츠웨어 추구혜택으로 이성어필/인상향상, 개성, 신분과시를 추구하며 해외 브랜드에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 나타냈고, 고급스러운 이미지의 스포츠웨어를 선호하였다. 반면 기능성을 중시하는 세분시장은 편안함을 추구하였고, 국내 브랜드에 긍정적인 태도를 보였으며, 단순하고 활동적인 이미지의 스포츠웨어를 선호하였다.

전통문화에 대한 가치인식이 한복에 대한 선호도와 장기적 관계에 미치는 영향 -한복체험 정도에 따른 집단비교- (The Effect of Value Recognition toward Traditional Culture on Preference and Long-term Relationship about Hanbok -Group Comparison according to Degree of Experience of Hanbok-)

  • How consumers perceives Korean heritage is the most essential motivation to purchase traditional products. This study investigates if there is a difference in the value perception of traditional culture on preferences for and the long-term relationship of Hanboks. It also investigates differences in the preference and consumption behavior of Hanboks depending on the degree of experience for Hanbok. For this research purpose, data were collected from 745 residents between the ages of 20-60 in the Seoul and metropolitan areas through online and offline surveys. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and path analysis, using the SPSS-WIN 20.0, AMOS 20.0 program. The value recognition toward traditional culture derived aesthetic and symbolic factors. The result of grouping according to the experience of the Hanbok indicated that the two groups of traditional cultural values influenced preferences for Hanboks. In the middle group, only the symbolic value had a significant influence on the preference of Hanbok. It was found that the less experienced group had no traditional culture value factor which had a significant effect on the preferences for Hanboks. Based on the results of this study, it is expected to be used as basic data to establish a marketing strategy to increase the preferences for traditional culture such as Hanboks by increasing various traditional culture experiences as well as Hanboks.

복어요리에 관련한 수도권과 부산권의 인식조사 (The Survey on the Recognition of Puffer Fish Food Consumers in Seoul and Busan areas)

  • The aim of this study is to research on the recognitions and preferences of Puffer fish consumers with the recently increasing well-being trend. To carry out this research, the main analysis was focused on two specific points: how much consumers perceive swellfish and which kinds of Puffer fish foods are preferred by consumers. Although the consumption of Puffer fish is gradually expending, at the same time, there are also numerous obstructive elements in consuming swellfish. In this regard, this test on Puffer fish food will be able to contribute to show an outlook for the Puffer fish food market in the future and to promote consumption of Puffer fish as well. Methodologically, a statistical research was adopted to find out how people understand Puffer fish and the patterns of their choices and intensive examinations were conducted throughout the collected questionnaire. For a more effective outcome, it was necessary to divide into two groups, the Nation's capital area with Seoul as a center, the most densely populated area and Busan, the biggest marine products consumption area, examining the inclination to consume with regions. In the concrete, the detailed research survey on the Puffer fish were performed with the opinions of the five hundred people from capital area and the five hundred people from Busan area. The difference and common features of consumer's recognition about Puffer fish food were founded through cross analysis according to age, gender, regions, and income. In conclusion, this research showed the difference tastes and recognition standards toward Puffer fish among consumers from Seoul and Busan areas. If it is possible to apply this result to the efforts of improving supplier's understanding about Puffer fish consumers' features and cultivating new Puffer fish items, it could contribute to the further consumption of Puffer fish food in the long term point of view.

의복 구매 의사 결정에 관련된 소비 비젼에 관한 연구 (Consumption Vision in Apparel Buying Decision Making)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the characteristics of consumption vision related to the apparel buying decision-making. They propose that consumers form mental images of future consumption situations and that these consumption visions influence their decision-making. Consumers can imagine themselves consuming apparel products and experiencing the consequences of this consumption. By imagining the likely outcomes, they are able to identify the salient characteristics of each alternative and develop beliefs about their outcomes. Also, they can experience affective reactions to the outcomes they imagines. In this way, they form the cognitive and affective basis for their preferences and construct several consumption visions in the apparel buying decision-making. A consumption vision is "a visual image of certain product-related behaviors and their consequences....(they consisted of concrete and vivid mental images that enable consumers to vicariously experience the self-relevant consequences of product use"(Walker & Olson, 1994). We conducted unstructured, depth interviews with 9 groups participating 48 students at universities located in Busan, based on the results of previous studies. The results show that consumption visions related to the apparel buying decision-making are characterized as self-image, reactions of others, affection and mood, visual imagine, and self-satisfaction. By constructing consumption visions based on the various perspectives, consumers are influenced in the apparel buying decision-making. Many subjects reported experiencing positive affect when imagining positive outcomes of product use. Other subjects mentioned using consumption visions for purely hedonic reasons. With no intention of purchasing apparel products, consumers may evoke consumption visions to escape from the daily life, to fantasize and daydream about pleasurable consumption situations, and to enhance the mood. That is, the consumption vision related to the apparel buying decision-making helps consumers anticipate an uncertain future and make the purchase of apparel products.

  • 명품브랜드의 대중화는 소비자가 명품브랜드를 이용하는 방식과 소비하는 목적과 동기가 다양해진다는 것을 의미한다. 명품브랜드 시장을 보다 잘 이해하기 위해서는 차별화된 다양한 접근법이 필요하다. 본 연구는 명품 브랜드의 가치와 브랜드 선호도간 관계에서 조절초점 조절효과를 검토하는데 목적이 있다. 명품 브랜드에 대한 지각된 가치는 소비자의 조절초점성향에 따라 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향에 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 품질가치와 경제적 가치는 향상초점 소비자집단보다 예방초점 소비자 집단에서 더 높게 나타난 반면에 심리적 가치는 예방초점 소비자 집단보다 향상초점 소비자집단에서 높게 나타났다. 또한, 향상초점 소비자일수록 과시적 가치와 감정적 가치가 명품브랜드 태도에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 반면, 예방초점 소비자일수록 품질가치와 경제적 가치를 더 중시하는 것으로 나타났다.

패션 추천서비스 알고리즘에서 상품유형과 속성 조합의 영향 (Influence of product category and features on fashion recommendation service algorithm)

  • The online fashion market in the 21st century has shown rapid growth. Against this backdrop, using consumer activity data to provide customized customer services has emerged as a viable business model that draws attention. Algorithm-based personalized recommendation services are a good example. But their application in fashion products has clear limitations. It is not easy to identify consumers' perceptions of the attributes of fashion, which are various, hard to define, and very sensitive to trends. So there is a need to compile data on consumers' underlying awareness and to carry out defined research to increase the utilization of such services in the fashion industry and further engage consumers. This research aims to classify the attributes and types of fashion products and to identify consumers' perceptions of a given situation where a recommendation service is offered. To find out consumers' perceptions of and satisfaction with recommendation services, an online and mobile survey was conducted on women in their 20s and 30s, a group that uses recommendation services frequently. A total of 455 responses were used for analysis. SPSS 28.0 was used, combined with Conjoint Analysis and multiple regression, to analyze data. The study results could provide insights into a better understanding of recommendation services and be used as basic data for companies to identify consumers' preferences and draw up a detailed strategy for market segmentation.
