The effects of consumer characteristics were more significant in explaining the complaining styles derived from public and health services rather than goods. Overall consumer attitude consumer knowledge and the degree of satisfaction of services were discriminant variables in explaining the styles of consumer complaint. Both consumer knowledge and budgeting skill were significant in explaining complaint styles to response dissatisfaction derived from consuming clothing while both consumer education and time constraint were significant in shaping the kinds of complaining styles derived from consuming household appliances.

Consumer attitudes and behaviors towards brands are not only related to the perception of corporate brand image but also to factors such as the image of the country of origin, the characteristics of the host country, and consumer individual traits. This article focuses on Chinese multinational companies and aims to study the impact of brand international image and country-of-origin brand image on consumer behavior. A model is constructed with brand international image and country-of-origin brand image as antecedent variables, host country characteristics and consumer traits as moderators, and consumer behavior as the outcome. This study employs a questionnaire survey method targeting foreign residents living in China as participants. The research findings reveal that during the internationalization process, both brand international image and country-of-origin brand image have a significant positive impact on consumer behavior, while host country characteristics and consumer traits play a moderating role. The conclusions of this research enrich the theoretical understanding of brand internationalization and explore the influencing factors of consumer behavior, providing a basis for decision-making for multinational company executives.

As mobile shopping has been increasing, the competition has been also increasing to satisfy various consumers' needs. Despite such increase in terms of the volume of the consumers who use mobile shopping, there has been very few studies to examine characteristics of mobile shopping malls. The purpose of this empirical study is to investigate the effect of characteristics of mobile shopping malls on consumer loyalty and the interaction effect of the O2O experience on the relationship between the characteristics of mobile shopping malls and consumer loyalty. Using a sample of 276 individuals who have experienced mobile shopping, we found that certain characteristics such as ubiquity, personalization, or convenience have a positive impact on consumer loyalty and a design characteristic solely has an interaction effect on consumer loyalty. As consumer loyalty has a critical factor on mobile shopping mall's profit, examining which factor has a positive effect on consumer loyalty is beneficial for mobile shopping malls. The results of the study have both practical and empirical implications.
This study aimed to clarify the relationships among the characteristics of consumers and their influence on fashion leadership. Two kinds of variables were investigated in this study: centrality of visual product aesthetics and consumer innovativeness as personal characteristics, and role-relaxed consumption and consumer susceptibility to interpersonal influence as interpersonal characteristics. Data were gathered by surveying university students in the Seoul metropolitan area, using convenience sampling, and 322 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing data, correlation analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. Factor analysis on the centrality of visual product aesthetics revealed three sub-factors: value, acumen, and response intensity. Meanwhile, factor analysis for consumer susceptibility to interpersonal influence revealed two sub-factors: informative and normative conformities. However, consumer innovativeness, role-relaxed consumption, and fashion leadership revealed only one factor. Regression analysis showed that visual product aesthetics, especially acumen and response intensity, were the most influential factors; furthermore, consumer innovativeness and normative conformity had positive influence on fashion leadership. However, role-relaxed consumption had negative influence on fashion leadership.
The purpose of this study was to analyze searching value types of Internet consumer information and to identify difference of information characteristics by searching value types. The online survey was conducted by 262 netizens. We used SPSS10.0 package and statistical analysis as follows : factor analysis, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan's multiple range test. The results were summarized as follows: 1) searching value types of Internet consumer information were classified into 3 types - high benefit/high risk type, middle benefit/middle risk type, high benefit/low risk type. 2)In the degree of significance for information characteristics, consumer recognized accuracy as the most important then comes variability, utility, up-to-dateness, and reliability in that order. 3) high benefit/high risk type among searching value types was evaluated the most affirmative types for Internet consumer information.
The apparel market is extremely competitive and thus apparel manufacturers should try to maximize consumer satisfaction with cost-efficient but consumer-oriented strategies. Personalized strategies considering each consumer's characteristics have to be developed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of consumers' characteristics on personalization strategies of apparel brands. Investigating personalization based on consumers' values and demographic characteristics will allow apparel manufacturers to attract target consumers. A survey method was used for the empirical study. Questionnaires from 420 respondents were analyzed using factor analysis, cluster, t-test, and ANOVA. The results indicated a significant influence of consumer values on customer service-related aspects of personalization. Female consumers demanded product- and information-oriented factors of personalization. Age, residential area, and clothing expense also had significant influence on the need for personalization of apparel shopping.
The purpose of this study is to find out the important factors and efficient strategies concerning internet marketing. The areas of study interest are, the characteristics of on-line shopping mall and the consumer shopping propensity. To do this, a 24-item Internet shopping mall characteristics and a 13-item consumer shopping propensity variables were developed to collect data from the 230 samples. The sample population composed mainly of, the college students and business man who had recent on-line shopping experiences on apparel goods. The 4-item satisfaction measure was used as the dependent variable. Also, a 11-item perceived shopping value measure was developed and measured to explore the mediating effect in the path between the endogenous and exogenous variables. Findings indicate that the characteristics of Internet shopping mall significantly contribute to the utilitarian shopping values, while the consumer shopping propensity contributes to the utilitarian and hedonic shopping values. In addition, the characteristics of internet shopping mall, the consumer shopping propensity, and shopping values are the good indicators for the consumer satisfaction.
