서비스 복제 및 이주를 이용한 서비스 확장성 향상 기법 (Methods to Enhance Service Scalability Using Service Replication and Migration)

  • 서비스 지향 컴퓨팅은 재사용 가능한 서비스를 사용하여 애플리케이션을 개발하는 효과적인 패러다임으로서 널리 각광받고 있다. 서비스 지향 컴퓨팅에서 서비스 소비자는 서비스를 관리하거나, 수정할 필요가 없이 서비스 제공자가 제공하는 서비스를 단지 사용하기만 하면 된다. 반면에, 서비스 제공자는 사용자가 원하는 때에 서비스를 사용할 수 있도록 자원 및 데이터 등을 관리하여야 한다. 하지만, 서비스 소비자는 불특정 다수의 특성을 갖기 때문에 서비스 제공자가 서비스 품질을 관리하기 힘들다. 따라서 서비스 수준 협약에 명시된 품질을 보장하면서 여러 명의 소비자에게 서비스를 제공하기 위한 서비스 확장성이 서비스 지향 컴퓨팅의 잠재적인 문제로 주목 받고 있다. 확장성에 대한 연구는 네트워크와 데이터베이스, 분산 컴퓨팅 등의 여러 분야에서 진행되었다. 하지만, 서비스 공학 분야에서는 아직 서비스 확장성의 정의와 관련 메트릭 등의 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 서비스 환경을 다중 노드가 연결된 네트워크로 구성하고, 모든 노드의 자원을 통합 관리한다. 또한 동적인 서비스의 복제 및 이주 기법을 이용하여 서비스 확장성을 관리하기 위한 프레임워크를 제안한다. 3장에서는 확장성 관리 프레임워크의 구조와 기능성을 소개하고, 4장에서는 프레임워크의 기능성 실현에 필요한 확장성 향상 기법을 제안한다. 5장에서는 제안된 기법을 적용하여 프레임워크를 설계/구현하며, 6장에서는 구현된 프레임워크를 적용하여 실험을 수행한다. 실험을 통해 확장성 향상 기법의 실효성을 확인한다.

폐유 현황 분석 및 재활용 증진 방안 (Recycling Improvement Plans through Analysis of the Present Status of Used oil)

  • 폐유의 발생량에 비해 폐유 정제업체수가 크게 증가하여 폐유의 물량이 부족하고, 수거경쟁으로 인해 과도한 비용이 투입되고 있으며, 질이 나쁜 폐유를 함께 수거해 정제하고 있어 환경오염의 가능성이 높다. 과도한 비용으로 인한 정제유의 가격 상승은 소비자에게 부담을 주고 있다. 이러한 상황을 해결하기 위해 폐유 재활용 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 재활용 활성화 방안 첫 번째로 부족한 폐유 물량 확보를 위한 폐유 수입은 선진국으로부터 가능하다. 수입국의 국제공인기관에서 품질검사를 실시한 후 국내에 반입 시 석유품질관리원에서 이중으로 검사를 실시하여야 하여 철저한 관리가 필요하다. 폐유 정제 비용 중 큰 비율을 차지하는 수분 및 침전물 품질기준의 완화를 고려하였으나, 이 경우 침전물의 함량이 높아져 환경적으로 문제가 될 수 있기 때문에, 영향이 적은 수분을 따로 측정하여 기준을 완화하고 침전물의 기준은 2%로 유지하였다. 마지막으로 폐유를 난방기 연료로 사용하는 경우가 있어 환경오염의 가능성이 있으며, 적절한 관리가 요구된다. 폐유난방기 사용은 품질이 우수한 자동차용 폐윤활유를 연료로 사용하고, 대기오염방지장치가 포함되어 있다면 사용가능하다. 폐기물 발생자 처리원칙에 부합되고, 품질이 우수한 폐유를 수거과정과 처리과정을 통해 투입되는 비용을 절감할 수 있다.

  • 다가오는 21세기는 정보와 문화가 지배하는 시대이다. 인간의 삶의 질은 문화의 수준에 의해 좌우된다. 이러한 시대에는 한 나라의 독창적인 문화와 문학적 수준이 그 나라의 모든 것을 대변하게 될 것이며 문화의 총체적인 결과물이라고 할 수 있는 국가 이미지는 막대한 영향력을 행사하게 된다. 이같은 문화주의 시대의 도래는 근대문화의 합리성과 전통문화의 개념을 어떻게 실질적으로 조화시켜 후기산업사회를 맞이해야 할것인가라는 중요한 과제를 던져주고 있다. 이른바 문화의 산업화와 산업의 문화화는 국경없는 국가 경쟁시대에 무엇보다 중요한 생존 전략이 될것이며 한 나라의 독특한 문화가 배어있는 문화상품은 그 나라의 이미지 선양은 물론 고부가가치 산업으로 부상할 수 있다. 일반상품이 편의성, 실용성을 우선 조건으로 개발된다면 문화상품은 문화와 기술 창조력의 척도가 되는 것으로 한 나라나 한 지역을 국제 사회에 인식시키는 실체가 된다. 이러한 국제시장 질서와 문화환경 변화에 대응하기 위해서는 독특한 문화유산을 바탕으로 하여 현대적 기호와 감각에 적합한 디자인을 개발하고 이를 상품화하여 국제경쟁력을 강화해 나갈 방안이 절실하다. 하나의 상품이 탄생하여 시장에 유통되고 최종 수요자에게 도달하기 위해서는 상품의 개발과 유통·판매라는 여러 복합과정에 대한 이해와 각 분야의 시스템화가 필수적이며 또한 어떠한 영역도 소홀할 수는 없겠지만, 본 고에서는 이에 대한 정책·제도적 대안이나 유통과 마케팅적 관심은 논외로 한다. 본 고는 한국적 문화이미지로서 전통문양이 차지하는 비중과 이것이 문화상품이라는 형태로 구체화되는-전통문양이 상품에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있는 상품디자인·개발 과정을 제시하는 것이다. 따라서 이를 바탕으로 한 제도적 장치와 구체적 활성화 방안이 후속적으로 전개되길 기대한다.

만성 간환자의 대체요법 추구 경험 - 자기 몸 다스림 과정 - (The Experiences of Patients Seeking Alternative Therapies for Chronic Liver Disease - The Process of Jagi Momdasrim -)

  • In Korea, most of the patients with chronic liver diseases have been using some kind of alternative therapies at home. however, the question is why do people turn to alternative therapy and how the patients are able to use the alternative therapies widely, though the effects have not been proven scientifically. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the process of the patients' experiences using the alternative therapies. The 16 participants were from internalmedical departments in hospital and the permission was received to participate in this study from the subjects. The data were collected with interviews and participants observations, analyzed by the grounded theory methodology of Strauss and Corbin(1990). With the analysis of the data, 15 categories were generated such as psychological pressures, barriers of role performances, distrusts of western medicine, blind obediences to the treatments, attitudes towards alternative therapies, supportive systems, obstacles to taking alternative therapies, financial burdens, collecting informations, pursuing alternative modalities, efforting diversities, analyzing by themselves, managing the body, accepting the disease, and ambivalence. The paradigm model was developed to identify the relationships of categories. The central phenomenon of the experiences of seeking alternative therapies was named jagi momdasrim. The central concept of jagi momdasrim is a mind-set to desire to wellness and to take more responsibility for one's own healing by pursuing alternate healing modalities rather than the western medical system. The process of jagi momdasrim evolved several stages such as seeking, finding, struggling, overcoming, fulfilling, and governing the diseases. Four patterns of taking alternative therapies were found as follows: the bulsin-chujong-hyung, the suyoung-hyung, the yangdari-gulchiki-hyung, the chamjae-hyung. In conclusion, the phenomenon of alternative therapies as consumer-driven force to heal the chronic liver diseases of the patients could be explained as an adaptive behavior through the process of jagi momdasrim. However, since most of the participants practicing some kind of alternative therapies had no evidences of its effects and never tried to consult with their medical doctors about alternative therapies, we should approach more actively. Therefore, it is recommended for nurses to listen and watch the patients behaviors of using alternative therapies and find out how to educate the patients about the proper and safe way to take the alternative therapies.

유튜브 플랫폼을 통한 외식 문화 수용에 대한 소비자 주관성 연구 (A Study on the Subjectivity of Consumers to Accept the Culture of Eating out through the YouTube Platform)

  • 본 연구는 현재 많이 사용하고 있는 플랫폼 중 하나인 유튜브를 통한 외식문화 수용이 소비자 인식에 관한 주관성 연구를 가지고 유튜브 플랫폼을 사용하는 소비자 입장에서 어떤 효과가 있는지를 파악하고 유튜브 플랫폼을 통한 외식 문화 수용으로 인하여 얻을 수 있는 마케팅 효과를 설립하기 위하여 소비자 주관적 관점을 파악하고 분석하고자 Q-방법론을 선택하였고 탐색적 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 진술문카드를 응답자가 분류하는 방식으로 분석 작업을 행하였고 Q모집단을 선정하여 구성한 후 이를 통해 진술문을 작성하여 P샘플을 선정한 후 분류작업을 통해 얻어지는 Q-sort를 PC QUANL 프로그램을 사용하여 Q요인분석을 통해 분석 실행하였다. 분석결과 총 4가지의 유형으로 분류 되었으며 제1유형[(N=6): 선호음식과 대리만족형], 제2유형[(N=3): 비감성 선호음식형], 제3유형[(N=14): 정보획득 선호음식형], 제4유형[(N=2): 부정형] 등으로 각 유형마다 각각의 특징이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 나온 각각의 주관적 의견은 추후 다양한 연구에 도움이 될 것이며 향후 유튜브 관련 마케팅 및 소비자 외식 문화 수용에 참고자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

GIS 시장개척과 지리학의 가능성 (Exploitation of GIS(Geographic Information Systems) Market and Participation of Geographers in GIS Industry)

  • 오늘날 정보화 시대에 GIS 시장은 LBS. 텔레매틱스 등 지리정보 기반의 다양한 컨텐츠를 서비스하는 기업이 늘어나면서 GIS 시장규모가 확대되고 있다. 본 연구에서 지리학과 GIS의 특성을 살피고 GIS산업과 시장에서 지리학자들이 기대한 대로 핵심적 역할을 할 수 있는 연구와 교육이 이루어졌는지를 체계적으로 고찰하였다. 지리학과의 관계에서 GIS 기술은 지리학의 공간적 기본 개념을 토대로 현실세계의 문제를 더욱 합리적으로 해결하는데 기여하였다. 반면에 지리학에서의 GIS 활용의 의미는 GIS가 지리학을 이론적 학문에서 현실세계의 문제를 해결하는데 기여할 수 있는 실용적 학문으로 전환을 시켜왔다고 할 수 있다. GIS 분야에서의 지리학의 위상을 파악하기 위해 GIS 교육과정을 분석한 결과, 지리학 및 지리교육전공에서 설정된 GIS 관련 교과목은 GIS 기본이론 및 활용에 편중되어 있다. 또한 GIS 관련 전문학회지에서의 연구결과들의 특성을 살펴보았을 때 지리학자들에 의한 GIS 연구도 주로 공간분석과 응용시스템 개발과 관련된 연구가 타 분야에 비해 비중이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 GIS 분야에서 GIS 전문인력으로서 경쟁력을 높이기 위해 지리학 전공자들은 신기술을 수용하고 GIS를 체계적으로 활용할 수 있도록 양성되어야 한다. 이를 위해 지리학 교육과정에서 GIS 기술을 강화하여 문제해결 능력과 창의적 사고 및 기술능력을 함양해야 한다.

의료사고의 손해배상과 위자료 산정 -한국소비자원 의료피해구제 사례들의 일별- (Assessment of Damages for Non-pecuniary Loss and Compensation for Damages in Medical Accidents - Overview for Cases of Medical Injury Relief in Korea Comsumer Agency -)

  • There are two opinions on the legal characteristics of damages for non-pecuniary loss, a private sanctions theory and complementary function of damages for non-pecuniary loss, briefly. There is a close connection between the legal characteristics and the function of damages for non-pecuniary loss. The functions of damages for non-pecuniary loss are consist of satisfaction, prevention( sanctions) and complementation. Several cases of medical injury relief reported to Korea Comsumer Agency are categorized as follows, 1) cases of death after having an operation, 2) diagnosed with disability after a medical accident, 3) extended damages happening related to delayed diagnosis, 4) et cetera(a plastic surgery, a treatment with oriental medicine), and the damages for non-pecuniary loss in respect to each cases are examined. In the case of occurring death or disability, Korea Comsumer Agency has set up guidelines for assessment of damages for non-pecuniary loss by classifying into major and collateral violation for a duty of care. Furthermore, the damages for non-pecuniary loss in the case of all sorts of cancers, are assessed in accordance with the degree of responsibility subsequent to dividing cancer into good and poor prognosis. When it comes to a complementary function of damages for non-pecuniary loss in the actual work, it is hard to assess the damages as it is difficult to objectify non-pecuniary loss, such as emotional distress. Though compensation for damages is major legal characteristics of consolation money, preventing a damage(private sanctions) through consolation for a victim or sanctions against an assailant also has great significance. Therefore, it is necessary to approach flexibly for mutual agreement by considering specialty( concrete facts) of individual issue thoroughly. If considering this aging society that limits the possible age for work to 60 years old, it is needed to have a complementary function of consolation money in mind not to make it less meaningful for victims due to small sum of consolation money.

IPA기법을 활용한 기업의 사회공헌활동 비교 평가: 서비스업 및 제조업을 중심으로 (Comparative Assessment of Corporate Philanthropy by the IPA Method: Service and Manufacturing Industries)

  • Purpose - In today's globalized and modern business environment, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities are considered to be essential for the sustainable development of enterprises. In addition, the corporate philanthropy that is related to CSR practices, as well as their being capable of reducing the anti-corporate sentiment of people have facilitated a qualitative forward leap into the quantitative growth phase. This study aims to undertake a comparative evaluation of corporate philanthropy through the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method focusing on service and manufacturing industries, and to eventually determine a differentiated approach that is needed for corporate philanthropy. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey responses were collected through online research on specialized companies from consumers nationwide who were aged from 20 to 60 and who are aware of corporate philanthropy. A total of 408 sheets of questionnaire survey were used. Frequency analysis was undertaken in this study. The interviewees had demographic characteristics of gender: 206 males (50.5%) and 202 females (49.5%). They also had demographic characteristics of age: 82 people were over 20 (20.1%), 96 over 30 (23.5%), 105 over 40 (25.7%), and 125 over 50 (30.7%) years of age. The distribution of interviewees' residences is as follows: 154 persons (37.7%) in the Special City, 102 persons (25.0%) in the Metropolitan City, and 152 persons (37.3%) in the Provincial Region. The interviewees have been working for the following companies: 34 persons (8.3%) in LG Display, 80 (19.6%) in KT&G, 49 (12.0%) in Amore Pacific, 42 (10.3%) in KIA Motors, 47 (11.5%) in SBS, 52 (12.8%) in Shinhan Bank, 86 (21.1%) in Asiana Airlines, and 18 (4.4%) in Hyundai Department Store. We applied the paired t-test for the IPA analysis. PASW Statistics 18 was used for statistical analysis. Results - The results of IPA analysis indicated that the importance and performance degrees in both manufacturing and service industries were significantly different. Major empirical results showed that, in consumer, social, economic, philanthropic, and environmental dimensions, in the sub-factors of philanthropy activities in both manufacturing and service industries, the importance degree was found to be higher than performance degree. Further, the average difference between importance degree and performance degree by the sub-factors of philanthropy activities. On the other hand, the average difference of environmental dimension was found to be highest in both service and manufacturing industries. Thus, while consumers consider the philanthropy activities of the environmental dimension as most important, actual companies treat performance of philanthropy activities of the environmental dimension insufficiently or negligibly to some degree. Conclusions - The differentiated approach method that is required for corporate philanthropy may be proposed to uplift corporate accomplishments by analyzing the IPA of the attributes of the sub-factors of corporate philanthropy. This is, to an extent, insufficient in the existing studies related to the use of the IPA technique, and it shows the items that are to be conducted intensively.

스마트폰 이용고객의 소비가치가 관계적 요인과 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Consumption Value of Smartphone Users on Relational Factors and Repurchase Intention)

  • Purpose - As the smart-phone market adds new technologies and introduces new marketing trends, competition among companies is getting fierce. Now, smart-phone companies need to pay attention not only to attaining new customers but also to retaining customers, which means managing relationships to prevent customer defection. Therefore, how to satisfy customer needs and maintain long-term relations are both important to make consistent progress in the rapidly changing smart-phone market. To illustrate this point, the study focuses on analyzing the effects of consumption value on relational factors and buying intentions among smart-phone users. First, consumption value was divided into functional, economic, and emotional values. After that, the effects of these values on satisfaction and brand trust were confirmed. Additionally, effects of satisfaction and brand trust on repurchase intention were analyzed. Research design, data, and methodology - The data was collected in a self-administered survey among 270 undergraduate students, using smart-phones between June 4th-12th, 2012. A total of 257 questionnaires were collected and used for the data analysis. A path analysis based on Lisrel 8.54 was used for the hypothesis test. Consumption value was divided into functional, economic, and emotional values. Subsequently, the effects of these values on satisfaction and trust in the brand were confirmed. Additionally, the effects of satisfaction and trust in the brand on repurchase intention were analyzed. Results - First, functional value, economic value, and emotional value - especially emotional value - were revealed to have positive effects on satisfaction. Second, emotional value was shown to have positive effects on brand trust, while functional and economic values did not. Third, satisfaction had positive effects on brand trust. In considering the relative influence on brand trust, satisfaction was the most crucial factor. It is clear that in the evaluation of the direct experience, using the product or the service plays an important role in building brand trust. Fourth, satisfaction and brand trust positively influenced repurchase intention. This indicates that both factors must be achieved to induce the repurchase Intention among customers. Conclusions - One can see that the enjoyable emotions consumers feel while using smart-phones is the most important factor in increasing levels of satisfaction. Moreover, this indicates that consumers pursue economic desires along with convenient functions in order to reduce opportunity costs. Additionally, consumers are affected by psychological and emotional messages in building trust, rather than practical and rational ones. Thus, in order to appeal to young clients as an attractive brand in the smart-phone market, approaching customers with an emotional value is recommended. In addition, in order for the brand to gain trust, the overall experience the consumer feels while using smart phones should be maximized. After all, one must fulfill the consumers' desire for a new experience and show a willingness to faithfully accomplish the responsibility of the brand to strengthen relationships with customers in the smart-phone market.

  • The Korean government embarked upon ambitious economic development plans in the 1960's the goals of development policy at that time were the elimination of absolute poverty and the alleviation of unemployment. With scant natural resources, the government had to push for industrialization based upon borrowed foreign raw materials with surplus local labor. Preoccupation with the economic goals of industrialization and export expansion left little room for considering environmental protection. It is evident that Korea's exported industrialization strategy of the past three decades has been a success in terms of income, production, and other macroeconomic indicators, but it cannot be denied that a host of undesirable side-effects have been created. These include environmental problems. congestion in several large cities, poor wealth distribution, and regional disparities. The environmental problems were recognized even in the early stage of development, but preoccupation with the pending economic goals of industrialization and export expansion left little room for considering environment protection. The perceived and actual seriousness of the problems, however, has reached such a level that further negligence may imperil political stability and developmental problems facing the world arise from a world economic order characterized by ever expanding consumption and production, which exhausts and contaminates natural resources and creates and perpetuates gross inequalities between and within nations. It will be necessary to develop new culture and ethical values, transform economic structures, and reorient, our lifestyles. Changing lifestyles can not be promoted by government policy initiative alone but through self=generated educational efforts and mutual training by people themselves. The citizens group for environment (NGOs) should assume these educational and training responsibilities starting from grass-root level of people. It must be reawakened to the reality that the environmental preservation for better quality of life is based on the development of human relationships, creativity, spirituality, reverance for the natural world and celebration of life, and is not dependent upon increased consumption of non-basic material goods. To carry on such environment education social movements and NGOs should (1) provides educational methodologies, which focus on values clarification and moving beyond clarification and moving beyond blame to constructive action. (2) provide training for leaders of business and industry, government, union and others on consumption and production. (3) initiate and support the training and work of environmental counselor who encourage responsible consumption. (4) cooperative with media to initiate and strengthen educational programs on the social environmental programs on the social environmental impacts of consumption and production and to build awareness of consumer responsibility and potential. Economic and social development can be compatible with environment protection : both can be achieved simultaneously. Effective environmental management depends on the various factors : political will, institutional arrangements, appropriate legislation, and availability of the requistite financial and technological resources, which is possible with a strong public awareness of the importance of environmental preservation.
