  • The importance of construction management has been increasing due to the fact that complex construction projects blend several different industries depending on the traits of the construction. This research was conducted to search for a method to enhance efficiency in cost management of construction project and meet the need for reusability of accumulated construction information. The process of detailed estimation and methodology for using standard unit price information has been developed to strengthen the interoperability in cost information by utilizing a standard classification system. The concept of ontology is proposed as a method of connecting construction information based on a standard breakdown structure to increasing the connectivity of the cost information in the construction project. Therefore, construction information knowledge framework is developed in order to improve the efficiency of the detailed estimation work process.

  • With the recent emergence of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the government is promoting the development of smart construction technology and institutional improvement through various policies to induce cutting-edge and technological innovation in the construction industry. As part of such smart construction technology, the application of BIM is being activated, and related regulations and guidelines are constantly being supplemented. In relation to BIM, there are many studies on the fields of library, design standards etc., but research on specific unit price utilization and unit price DB construction for calculating construction cost is insufficient. Therefore, in this study, a basic study was conducted on the linkage of the construction standard market unit price and the BIM library. Based on the basic research conducted in the future, we intend to establish specific standards for calculating BIM-based construction costs.

중국 BIM 표준의 현황과 특성에 관한 사례 분석 (A Case Study of Status and Characteristics of the BIM Standard in China)

  • The Standard for BIM in Construction of China was released in 2017. The Unified Standard for BIM of China also took effects on 2017. The BIM standards of China needs to be compared with those related guidelines of Korea to find the status and characteristics for future development of BIM application in both countries' construction industries. The research methodology is a case study of comparing various standards of both countries. The case study results reveals many interesting issues for future BIM application and guidelines for practice of design and construction process. The research foundings include followings : LOD (Level of development) are well defined including LOD 350 in Chinese Standard. P-BIM(Practice based BIM) concepts and series of standards are set for the well-defined design and construction process by work stage in China. Korean standards shows more processes of design and documentation in detail. Major three aspects, particularity in BIM standard by work trade, practicality in BIM work process of design and construction, and professionality in subjects of BIM application, are analyzed and compared with various Guidelines of BIM in both countries.

  • The Construction Standard Production Unit(CSPU) has been used for the standard cost estimate in public and private construction projects. However, It is difficult to reflect the various site attributed variation in productivity using existing CSPU. The reason is that a criteria which site should be selection for enactment and/or revision of CSPU is not established. This study aims to provide essential data to be used for analyzing the labor factors in a way to secure efficiency and reliability of CSPU.

  • The study set up the models of a general standard apartment house and a super high-rise standard apartment house, which were based on the 5 floor plans of the assessment reference houses of the "green homes" provided by the government; such main construction materials as to account for more than 80% of the entire amount of $CO_2$ emission in a construction work were selected; a database was built up for evaluating the environmental loads of the main materials according to the house types that were different from each other in area, block type, combination of living units or floor; and using the database, an attempt was made to develop the technology to assess $CO_2$ emission from the production of construction materials used in the stage of construction.

  • 프로젝트 초기단계에 공기산정이 적절히 이루어져야만 프로젝트 진행과정에서 인력, 자재, 장비 등을 효율적으로 이용할 수 있으며 자금을 적절하게 배분할 수 있다. 그러나 아직 국내에서는 기준으로 삼을 만한 공기산정 기준이 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 현재의 불명확한 공기산정방식을 개선함으로써 프로젝트 초기단계에서 적정공기를 예측하고 타당한 공정계획을 수립할 수 있도록 합리적이고 체계적인 공기 산정기준을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 기존 산정기준의 비교 분석을 통하여 개선방향을 도출하고, 현장기술자들과의 면담조사, 현장실험, 기존 연구자료 등을 활용하여 적정공기 산정기준을 제시하였다.

  • Research on construction waste unit was in progress in the 1995 when 'Proper Disposal and Recycling Measures for Construction Waste' was made by the Seoul Development Institute. Such an effort has been made in order to cope with the lack of natural resources in Korea and to utilize the reusable resources. Furthermore, these efforts have also increased due to the improved standing of Korea in the international community. A large number of residential buildings were built in the response to the government's policy by increasing the supply of houses between the 1970's and 1980's. In 2000, more reconstruction and redevelopment was done because of the aged buildings and change of use for those buildings. And the project has been actively promoted until now, which caused a sharp increase in the generation volume of construction waste. In Korea, 8 kinds of construction waste unit, including the standard construction manpower and materials estimation, are introduced. Currently, they provide standards to different building categories and waste properties while for construction sites different standards are applied. This study aims to measure the actual amount of construction waste after sample buildings are dismantled and analyzes the estimation of the waste quantity by using various standard units. Through comparison, this study will figure out the differences among the standard units in order to find out how to apply the standard units properly. Moreover, this research will provide practical measures to apply such units to construction sites.

  • 정부에서는 건설기술관리법 개정을 통해 국내 시방서의 위계를 표준시방서, 전문시방서, 공사시방서로 정하였고, 설계도서 작성시 기존의 '특별(특기)시방서'에 여러 표준시방서 등을 첨부하여 사용하던 것에서 탈피하여, 표준시방서, 전문시방서 등의 해당 내용을 발췌, 수정, 보완하여 '공사시방서'를 작성하도록 하였다. 그러나 아직도 공사시방서의 수준은 이전의 특별(특기)시방서의 수준을 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 상황에서 공사시방서 수준을 향상시키기 위하여 시방서(표준 전문공사)운영체계 개선방안 및 시방서(표준$\cdot$전문$\cdot$공사)의 일반적인 작성방법 개선방안 ,총칙 작성방법 개선방안 등을 제시하였다.

  • Due to the nature of the construction industry, massive and diverse data is generated and collected from each project. It can be classified into a number of variables that specify the distinct characteristics of construction projects. However, a variable is used in different terms depending on the users. This situation plays as a great barrier to effective construction information management and also has limitations to collective research and practice. As a solution, it is essential for developing common and shared variables. In this context, the aim of this study is to define systematically organized standard variables for globally collaborative construction management. The standard variables are identified by bibliometrics analysis with VOSviewer, and the bibliographic data is collected from the Scopus with 13,533 documents about construction management.
