표면처리방법에 따른 초고성능 콘크리트의 전단부착성능 평가 연구 (An Assessment of Bonding Shear Performance of Ultra-high-performance Concrete Regarding Interface Treatment)

  • The present study aims to derive optimal interface treatment conditions for emulating a monolithic construction. The joints in this construction are formed through the bonding shear evaluation method during the placement of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) and normal strength concrete (NSC). The evaluation items include push-off tests for homogeneous UHPC + UHPC and heterogeneous NSC + UHPC. The experimental samples comprised a monolithic placement as the baseline, two levels for the separated placement according to the compression strength of concrete, and five levels for the interface treatment. The increase in the number of grooves and their cross-sectional areas only slightly influenced the bonding shear performance. The optimal interface treatment method for the homogeneous UHPC + UHPC construction grooves was at least 30mm. The heterogeneous NSC + UHPC construction should utilize waterjet roughening to expose the aggregate for the increased roughness.

Factors That Affect Project Time and Cost Performance during Highway Construction Using Incentive/Disincentive Provisions

  • Incentive/Disincentive (I/D) contract is designed for minimizing any disruption of traffic flow in road construction projects. I/D contracting projects have been evaluated with regard to time and cost performance in various states, more than 35 states. However, construction project managers and planners have little understanding of the project factors that affect the project time and cost performance of highway construction projects using I/D regulations. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find factors that affect I/D project success or failure to improve the decision-making process for the implementation of I/D projects. In order to achieve the objectives of this research, the researchers collected I/D road construction project data from FDOT and performed evaluation for each collected project. Then, project data analysis to identify key factors that affect I/D project performance was performed. In conclusion, five significant factors for project time performance and six significant factors for project cost perfornace were identified and summarized.

  • 건설신기술제도는 1990년도부터 15년간 운영되면서 2004년말 기준 443건이 신기술로 지정되었고, 신기술이 현장에 약 20,000회 이상 활용되는 등 정착단계에 접어들었다. 그러나, 건설신기술의 기술사용료 지급기준이 마련되어 있지 못해, 발주기관별, 신기술항목별로 기술료가 상이하고, 지급절차 및 기준이 없어 혼란을 야기하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 건설신기술의 기술사용료 현황 및 문제점을 비교 분석한 결과를 토대로, 향후 건설신기술 사용료의 개선방향을 다각적인 측면으로 제시하고자 한다. 특히, 본 연구는 신기술 사용료 지급기준을 제시하고, 신기술 보호 취지 아래 조사가(공사예정가격)를 기준으로 기술사용요율$({\alpha})$을 정하는 방안을 제안하였다. 이러한 건설신기술이 건설현장에 많이 활용 보급되기 위해서는 우수한 신기술을 지정하는 것도 중요하지만, 지정된 신기술을 건설현장에 활용될 수 있도록 신기술 사용료 지급기준을 마련하는 것이 무엇보다도 필요하다.

  • This paper draws performance results through comparing WMNs' methods when the WMNs are used in tunnel construction sites. There are many advantages of WMNs : lower cost, easy to network maintenance, robustness and reliability within RF-ranges. As a result, using the WMNs would be suitable to employ as a network infrastructure for the construction sites. This paper evaluates the performance of WMNs which we have installed in a tunnel construction. Through the performance results, we conclude the performance of data throughputs gets lower when we perform the network in tunnel environments. We make attempts WMNs' two major methods which are SISC(Single Interface with Single Channel) and MIMC(Multi Interface with Multi Channel) to figure out which method will be better for the construction sites. Through the experiments, the WMN based on the MIMC method was comparatively suitable in network performance aspect for the tunnel Sites.

  • Brittle failure has been detected in over-stressed rock mass during the construction of oil storage cavern. The main characteristics of stress induced brittle failure of the site are introduced. Various evaluation and measures are sought to stabilize the over-stressed rock mass. The major results from numerical analysis of the cavern are presented, and from current microseismic monitoring to detect hazard from brittle failure are presented.

아파트의 적정 건설층수 결정을 위한 에머지(emergy)평가 (Emergy evaluation of the optimum number of stories of new apartment buildings)

  • The cost of the construction and management of new apartment buildings was evaluated using a monetary analysis and an emergy concept to provide a new perspective regarding the housing policy of Korea. The systems of analyses were typical apartment buildings with an area of $76.03m^2$ per household in Korea built on the same size of land area. Three apartment buildings with different stories were evaluated and compared; 5-story, 15-story, and 20-story apartment buildings. The durable years of those apartments were assumed to be 40 years. The total cost of the construction and management of an apartment building was divided into three categories of construction, land purchase, and management. A 20-story apartment showed the highest cost and a 15-story apartment the lowest in the monetary cost analysis. In contrast, the emergy evaluation revealed a different pattern in the cost of construction and management, the cost increasing from a 5-story apartment to a 20-story one. This means that the higher the apartment constructed, the greater the cost in terms of real wealth. This result suggests that new evaluation methodologies like the emergy analysis should be used together with the monetary analysis to provide better insights on the national housing policy.

국내 건설기업의 ESG 평가 및 대응방안 (ESG Evaluation and Response of Construction Companies in Korea)

  • 국내 건설기업의 ESG 경영은 대형업체 중심으로 추진되고 있다. 건설업체는 ESG 경영보고서를 발간하고, 중대성 평가를 통하여 이슈를 도출하고, 관련 전문가 의견수렴 과정을 통하여 10대 이슈와 우선순위를 도출하여 ESG 경영관리를 하고 있다. 또한 국내외 ESG 평가기관의 건설업체 ESG 평가결과, 동일한 업체에 대한 평가결과가 상이한 것은 각 기관별 평가항목과 평가절차 등의 평가모델이 다르기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 건설ESG 경영을 강화하기 위한 대응방안을 제안하였다. 첫째, 중소건설업체도 건설ESG 경영을 추진할 수 있도록 정책적인 지원과 자금지원이 필요하다. 둘째, 건설산업의 특성에 맞는 건설 ESG 평가항목을 표준화하여 공개함으로써 건설업체가 ESG 경영 및 추진하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 하청업체의 ESG 평가도 표준화하여 발표함으로써, 하청업체들이 ESG 경영 및 평가를 준비하는데 활용하는 것이 필요하다. 넷째, EU 발주처인 사업의 경우 아프리카, 동아시아지역의 해외건설 사업은 ESG 기준에 맞게 사업을 추진하도록 요청받고 있다. 따라서 장기적으로 해외사업은 지역별, 국가별 ESG 규제사항 및 영향 등에 관한 자료를 구축하여 해외건설 진출기업에게 정보를 제공하는 방안을 제안하였다.

건설산업 공공데이터 개방의 현황과 과제 (The Current Status and Problems of Open Government Data on the Construction Sector and Its Improvement Plan)

  • In order to meet the trend, construction public data are already disclosing not only data generated at the construction site but also various data ranging from inspection reports and public construction contracts through multiple portals. However, unlike the excellence of the open performance evaluated by the number of data, it is difficult to evaluate the specific level of disclosure because there is no case of analyzing the quality, ease of use, and possibility of further opening of the public construction data set. On the other hand, performance measurement is already performed using an internationally agreed evaluation method in different fields such as real estate, population, and environment. So it is essential to analyze the current status of public data openings in the construction field and to derive improvement tasks. Therefore, this study conducted a survey of researchers with the highest system utilization targeting representative public data open systems in the construction field, such as E-AIS(세움터) and KISCON. To ensure fairness and increase comparability, the questionnaire was composed using evaluation items on implementing public data conducted annually by the World Wide Web Foundation, an international non-profit organization. With these responses, we investigated the status of public data disclosure and opinions on data quality and derived tasks to improve public data disclosure in construction through the analysis of the results.

  • As the importance of building maintenance is being emphasized, studies regarding the efficient building maintenance focus on the evaluation of the maintenance plan, implementation and its cost only while the evaluation of the maintenance performance is nearly ignored. At this point when the importance is placed on the performance design we need to have methods to improve maintenance performance of the buildings in Design Phase. The purpose of this study was to set the design evaluation items to improve the maintenance performance of the buildings. Through the review of the existing literature, we set the concept of the maintenance performance and suggested evaluation items to evaluate the maintenance performance through the analysis of domestic and overseas certification and design guidelines.

  • The condensation performance evaluation is required for improved living environment of apartment housings. In the current condensation performance evaluation process, high demand of manual works and repetitive process cause unexpected risks due to uncertainty and inefficiency by applying 2D CAD drawings in simulation tool. Furthermore, the evaluation requires taking in action responding to the expanding use of BIM. In this study, the analysis of current evaluation process and required functions for the process improvement based on BIM modeling were deducted from interviews with experts. It is expected that the results of this study can be employed to develop of process automation module for condensation simulation evaluation.
