Like all other European countries, as a result of gradual industrialization, Germany is just before the start of new social system; the so-called 'aged society'. Over half of the century, Germany focused their welfare system on facilities. However, with the start of the new 'aged society', they introduced a new concept which consists mainly on home care and community care. These new concepts resulted from the general idea that even elderly have the right to live an independent quality life. Therefore, to satisfy the elderly with such life it has been seen as necessary not only to offer them efficient protection but to introduce an economical welfare system and facility scheme. The regional integration plan for welfare is one of the open schemes in which the lifestyle of the elderly are seen as the whole. Participated by several members and specialists of all social standings, necessary facilities are planned. By looking into a project example carried out in Germany, this study is aimed to increase the quality of the elderly welfare system and facility construction plan.

From 2011, newly developed Information textbook will be given to high school students. This research investigates contents of the new Information textbook and attempts to offer improvement of the book, which were compiled according to the 2007 Revised Curriculum. This thesis aims to make a comparative analysis of the contents and structure of six Information textbook which passed the screening. The structures of six textbooks were examined under four sections, which are overall structure, relative importance in the textbook, development method, and evaluation type. Moreover, for analyzing the contents, the research investigated the number of the major concepts that are dealt in the textbooks. The results show that there are too many difficult concepts for high school students and reveals that there are big difference in the contents and construction among textbooks. This research suggests how the textbook should be revised in the light of the contents, construction, terminology, and practical training.

Urbanization created by modernization and industrialization has brought tremendous growth of hotel demand with city ' development such as population’s centralization, living environment changes, consumption emphasis, and internationalization. Moreover, the hotel industry has been developed in two ways. First, it has been diversified and popularized by hotel culture. Second, the hotel industry has been upgraded form focusing oh its specific targets. In the view of Hotel design, Hotel was shown as a social and cultural value. Customer can experience the space, not normal big sizes, but being new and reflecting trends regardless of any purposes or locations. The hotels that were resulted in development of American economy and construction since the 1980 had new design concepts. These hotels were one of the examples showing pluralism requiring on modern society. In the case of Korea, Korean Architect Company have built in copying or repacked western hotel without considering Korean local conditions. Korean company just tried to make large scales, high-story buildings, and chain hotels. Nevertheless, it is the current trend to understand the customer's sensitivity and viewpoint by introducing a new style of hotel management that requires variety and different characteristics of hotel design. Therefore, the purpose of this study presents a direction of the future hotel architecture by analyzing design characters of domestic and international hotels, by collecting various consumer's requests.

Last February, $\ulcorner$The Act on Ubiquitous City Construction and etc.$\lrcorner$ was approved by the National Assembly. The law stipulates the regulations on the planning, construction and management of the Ubiquitous City. As its national-level law system is about to take its effects, future new city developments are expected to have its legal basis to be built to meet ubiquitous city requirements. Also, it is anticipated that such needs would require much more planning techniques and strategies. In reaction to those upcoming needs, this study is to search for new planning approaches to realize the u-City in reality. It is also to supply with the framework to execute the u-City projects in more structuralize and systemize manner. Therefore, with the purpose of the establishment of comprehensive planning system, the theoretical bases were sought in relation to planning u-City, pre-existing u-City development cases and regarding regulations were analyzed, and then basic concepts, features, and constituent factors were set up.

Since Lean Construction has been introduced as a new management approach to improve productivity in the construction industry, much research is in progress to develop lean concepts and principles for better implementation and to get results of the successful adaptation of lean ideas from manufacturing for application in the construction industry. Currently, several construction companies in the USA have applied the Last Planner System (LPS), a decentralized system developed by the Lean Construction Institute. Thus, there are demands to share information how other companies implement lean construction, to identify the benefits and barriers of lean implementation in the construction fields, and finally to improve their lean implementation. This study carried out case studies to assess current lean construction projects with the objective to find out how effectively and to what extent lean construction is being adapted by the construction industry. This study will only introduce the Last Planner which has four levels in the LPDS, findings based on interviews with project participants, and observations from the projects. This study will also provide empirically identified success factors associated with lean implementation on the construction site. Finally, the recommendations are offered to support the effort of adaptation of lean construction in the domestic construction industry. Even though lean construction still stood on the bridge crossing from current practice to lean practice, it is the researcher's conviction that lean construction would be successfully adapted to the construction industry in the near future and would be recognized as an effective management innovation.

This paper proposes 2 problems of Internet Marketing. Firstly, nowadays many people are aware of Web Service and the services that are available in cyberspace. However they are not fully aware of the concepts and range of Web Services. Secondly, most of the research of Internet Marketing focuses on the service quality of cyber shopping using SERVQUAL in relationship to service quality of shopping malls. Therefore they have a lot of limitations because they do not understand all the media characteristics of Internet. Basically the Internet has service parts and also has characteristics of new advertising. But many research papers do not consider these respects. The purpose of this paper is to study of the effects of Web Service Quality on Internet Commerce Transactions. To accomplish the purpose of this paper effectively, theoretical background of web services was reviewed briefly. We defined Web Services and categorized them. We found that the components of Web Service Quality are Information Providing Service Quality and Advertising Service Quality. Factor analysis is conducted according to the dimensions of each component. We conducted Path analysis how these components affect buyers'attitude and buyers'attitude affect revisit intentions and buyer intentions. The results show that strategies of cycler brand construction are better than strategies of selling to web surfers. The strategies of cyber brand construction are related to buying in that customers increase their visits to the entrepreneur's Web site and this increases the loyalty to that site therefore this is related to buying habits.

This text discusses trends in the construction of religions since the Meiji Era, using Konkokyo and Restoration Shintoism as examples. The construction of religions is applied here as the process of a deliberate acceptace of religious images as a discourse of "Civilization" endowed with "kyougi" or "Doctrine" and "kyousoku" or "Rules of Instruction." Winding through a meandering path, these constructed religions do not take precedence over "Jikyou" or "State Religion." Yet, "Jikyou" for a while was fixed in its own fragemented self-imagery. As for Shinto, in 1900, the Office of Shinto Shrines became independent from the Office of Shrines and Temples in the Department of Domestic Affairs, and clearly Shinto and Shinto Shrines were part of secular state ideology. In the Bakumatsu and Meiji Periods, it ultimately was cut off from Restoration Shinto, thereby achieving this development on its own. This tells of the formation of an entirely new and modern Shinto within a secular "Jikyou." Konkokyo, moreover, as a religion establishes "kyousoku" and "kyougi." As a Shinto sect, it takes steps on the path toward recognizing a self-identity, namely as religious Shinto. As a result, dogmatization and systemization progress, and "Byoukinaoshi" or "illness-recovery" from the Tokugawa Period weathers. Also, as for progress in the Shinto religious order, from its foundation, the characteristics of a unified state and religion emerge, and thus there is an acceptance of significant restrictions. This dillema continues to persist as a problem in postwar Japan. Shedding light on Tokugawa Era practice also sheds light on where we can now take religious concepts.

Information technologies centered on the internet in the area of shipbuilding and marine engineering further incur the needs to increase the flexibility of the organization, the dispersion of work process, and the use of out sourcing, as well as the globalization of related market. In near future, electronic commerce and concurrent engineering based on CALS/EC and the Internet will be an integral part of the environment and upon these changes, ship design and construction will become a computer supported cooperative work of many dispersed and specialized groups. As the means of active response to these environmental changes, many new concepts such as digital shipbuilding, virtual shipyard, and simulation based design are appearing. In this paper, the concept and current status of digital manufacturing in general manufacturing industry will be reviewed. Then, related technologies, area of application and methods of digital manufacturing in shipbuilding and marine industries are presented. In addition, virtual assembly simulation system for shipbuilding(VASSS), a tool for crane operability and block erection simulation in virtual dock based on 3D product model, will be introduced.

Recently, there is a growing interest on sustainable connection system that makes it possible to reuse of main structural members by concentrating most of the damage in the frame caused by strong horizontal force, such as earthquake, to damper. In this study proposed a new type of damage-controlled connection system applying these concepts and analysed the major structural performance of the proposed system through the full-scale cyclic loading test and nonlinear finite element analyses. According to the result, it derived the optimal damper/beam strength ratio that minimize the damage of main members and satisfy at least the fully plastic moment of the beam. And it was to verify the possibility of applying as seismic connection details.

The advancements of the society aggravate ecological problems, and it is at a point where our living environment is under a serious threat. To resolve such problems, environmental friendly design concepts are evolving through various naming conventions such as conservation of global environment, environmental symbiosis, friendly environmental, nature-friendly, environmental friendly type, green building and eco-construction. Accordingly, in this research, for the purposes of healthy living environmental construction, nature as the subject of its design and highly praised as a new design arena, floral art design theory and its functions, as well as its examples are explored. With the Information available, I was able to confirm that, in interior decorating, floral art design is used as a tool for expressing environmental friendly space, and gradually its necessity and the scope of its application have been broadened. Therefore, utilization of floral art design is to fabricate environmental friendly interior space; and it is expected as a substitute for accomplishing green amenity, and its study should continue for the years to come.
