The main object of this study was to find a way to operate the marker for simulating a virtual construction using a MR(mixed reality) device. The secondary object was to find a way to extract the form-data from BIM data, and to represent the virtual object by the MR device. A tiny error of scale causes large errors of length because the architectural objects are very large. The scale was affected by the way that the camera of the MR device recognizes the marker. The method of installing and operating the marker causes length errors in the virtual object in the MR system. The experimental results showed that the error factor of the Virtual object's length was 0.47%. In addition, the distance between the markers can be decided through the results of an experiment for the multi-marker tracking system. The minimum distance between markers should be more than 5 m, and the error of length was approximately 23mm. If the represented virtual object must be less than 20mm in error, the particular mark should be installed within a 5 m radius of it. Based on this research, it is expected that utilization of the MR device will increase for the application of virtual construction simulations to construction sites.

Recently IT industry has its eyes on IT Converged Technology as its future growth engine. Now, local governments are busy with planning U-City Constructions to improve their competitiveness. While this shows the ripple effect of U-City Constructions, the related standards or laws don't still seem to be established. The existing Construction Criteria which comprehends only construction could not apply to U-City development. Therefore Construction-Information Converged Technology Criteria should be needed. And fundamental research of Criteria should be preceded. The objective of this research is to develop Structure of Construction-Information Converged Technology Criteria on U-City. The new comprehensive Criteria for Construction-Information Converged Technology would be fundamentally basic standard for U-city development. Thereafter local governments, the main body of the projects, could use Construction-Information Converged Technology Criteria so that there must be lest trial and error to Construction U-City Project.

This paper proposes a technique for counting construction materials by analyzing an image acquired by a Drone. The proposed technique use drone log which includes drone and camera information, RCNN for predicting construction material type, dummy area and Photogrammetry for counting the number of construction material. The existing research has large error ranges for predicting construction material detection and material dummy area, because of a lack of training data. To reduce the error ranges and improve prediction stability, this paper increases the training data with a method of data augmentation, but only uses rotated training data for data augmentation to prevent overfitting of the training model. For the quantity calculation, we use a drone log containing drones and camera information such as Yaw and FOV, RCNN model to find the pile of building materials in the image and to predict the type. And we synthesize all the information and apply it to the formula suggested in the paper to calculate the actual quantity of material pile. The superiority of the proposed method is demonstrated through experiments.

In this study, we investigated the errors that students committed in the processes of constructing graphs on experimental results by the students' science achievement level. A test of constructing a graph about 'the relationship between the pressure and volume of a gas' was administered to 7th graders (N=145). Results revealed that most students committed errors in the processes of constructing the graph, showing 12 error types in the categories of 'Misinterpreting the variables', 'Mismarking the graphical elements', and 'Misusing the data'. The students in the lower achievement level had more errors than those in the higher achievement level in the two error types, that is 'representing the bar graph' and 'marking the scale in the presented data order', but the results were reversed in the three error types, that is 'marking the independent variable and dependent variable reversely', 'adding the data', and 'neglecting the data'. In the other error types, there were little differences in the frequencies of the errors by students' science achievement level.
Pipe wall thinning by flow-accelerated corrosion and various types of erosion is a significant and costly damage phenomenon in secondary piping systems of nuclear power plants (NPPs). Most NPPs have management programs to ensure pipe integrity due to wall thinning that includes periodic measurements for pipe wall thicknesses using nondestructive evaluation techniques. Numerous measurements using ultrasonic tests (UTs; one of the nondestructive evaluation technologies) have been performed during scheduled outages in NPPs. Using the thickness measurement data, wall thinning rates of each component are determined conservatively according to several evaluation methods developed by the United States Electric Power Research Institute. However, little is known about the conservativeness or reliability of the evaluation methods because of a lack of understanding of the measurement error. In this study, quantitative models for UT thickness measurement deviations of nuclear pipes and fittings were developed as the first step for establishing an optimized thinning evaluation procedure considering measurement error. In order to understand the characteristics of UT thickness measurement errors of nuclear pipes and fittings, round robin test results, which were obtained by previous researchers under laboratory conditions, were analyzed. Then, based on a large dataset of actual plant data from four NPPs, a quantitative model for UT thickness measurement deviation is proposed for plant conditions.
A series of experimental tests have been performed on a tube beam in which artificial damage is applied in order to address damage detectability using modal analysis. Modal parameters considered are frequency, displacement mode shape and strain mode shape CoMAC(Coordinate Modal Assurance Criterion) and Modal Vector Error have been adopted for presenting the change of displacement mode shape and strain mode shape. It is revealed strain mode shape is the most sensitive to damage.
Quantum low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes based on the Calderbank-Shor-Steane construction have low encoding and decoding complexity. The sum-product algorithm(SPA) can be used to decode quantum LDPC codes; however, the decoding performance may be significantly decreased by the many four-cycles required by this type of quantum codes. All four-cycles can be eliminated using the entanglement-assisted formalism with maximally entangled states (ebits). The proposed entanglement-assisted quantum error-correcting code based on Euclidean geometry outperform differently structured quantum codes. However, the large number of ebits required to construct the entanglement-assisted formalism is a substantial obstacle to practical application. In this paper, we propose a novel class of entanglement-assisted quantum LDPC codes constructed using classical Euclidean geometry LDPC codes. Notably, the new codes require one copy of the ebit. Furthermore, we propose a construction scheme for a corresponding zigzag matrix and show that the algebraic structure of the codes could easily be expanded. A large class of quantum codes with various code lengths and code rates can be constructed. Our methods significantly improve the possibility of practical implementation of quantum error-correcting codes. Simulation results show that the entanglement-assisted quantum LDPC codes described in this study perform very well over a depolarizing channel with iterative decoding based on the SPA and that these codes outperform other quantum codes based on Euclidean geometries.

The performance of concrete mainly depend upon its water-cement ratio. If water percentage is excess in concrete, it may cause the degradation of performance. Because of these reasons, the change of water content is managed by using various evaluation method of unit water content. And criterion for the change of water content is regulated and used. However the criterion is set only considering production error and measurement error but criterion does not consider performance degradation of concrete. Therefore this study tries to investigate degradation of performance while adding extra water by artificial manipulation or management error in concrete, The contents of extra water for tests are set as 0, 20, 40, 60kg/m3, to examine the performance degradation of concrete, strength, shrinkage, cracks, carbonation are tested This study conclude that, when extra water content is excess than 20kg/m3 in concrete, then performance level of concrete declined rapidly. 80 it is very important to maintain quality of concrete for its better performance.
Electronic control units (ECUs) are currently popular, and have evolved further towards the high-end application of autonomous vehicles in the automotive industry. Such digital technologies have also become widespread, in agriculture and construction equipment. Likewise, transmission control of high-speed tracked vehicles is based on the transmission control unit (TCU), performing complex gear change control functions, and diagnostic algorithms (a TCU's self-diagnostic and reporting capability of malfunction data through CAN communication). Since all functions of TCU are implemented by embedded-software, it is hardly possible to analyze specifications by reverse engineering. In this paper a real-time transmission simulator adaptable to TCU is presented, for analysis of diagnosis algorithm and standards. Signal simulation circuits are deliberately designed considering electrical characteristics of TCU inputs and various analysis tools, such as analog input auto scan function, and global output enable switch, are implemented in software. Test results from hardware-in-the-loop simulator verify tolerance time for each error, as well as cause of fault, error reset conditions.

Major influence factors for piercing depth of concrete against small caliber bullet are target's property such as compression strength of concrete and bullet's property such as the velocity and weight of it. In particular about the bullet's property, velocity and incidence angle could be controlled by specific position or distance between targets and shooter, but the angle of yaw of bullet dose not. Because the the angle of yaw of bullet causes lower piercing force of bullet, some errors on piercing depth of concrete could be appeared by live fire test for the evaluation of protective performance. Therefore, we have checked the error canceling effect on the piercing depth of concrete by single shot and barrage of small caiber bullets. As a result, we identified that the error of piercing depth by the angle of yaw of bullet could be cancelled by barrage.
