패턴 인식에 의한 새로운 자동조정 PI제어기 (A New Auto-Tuning PI Controller by Pattern Recognition)

  • This paper describes the procedures for pre-tuning and re-tuning the gains of PI controller based on output patterns -output error integral- of the unknown process which may not have any information, for example, system order, deadtime, time constant, etc. The key ideas of the proposed adaptive scheme are as follows. The scheme determines the initial gains by using ZNM (Ziegler-Nichols Method) with relay feedback, and then the adaptive algorithms by pattern recognition are introduced for re-runing the PI gains with on-line scheme whenever control conditions are changed. Because, among the various auto-tuning procedures, ANM with relay feedback has the difficulty in re-tuning with on-line and Bristol method has no comment on initial settings and has variables to pre-determine, which makes the algorithm comples, the proposed methods have the combined scheme with above two procedures to recover those problems. And this paper proposes a simple way to determine adaptive constant in Bristol method. To show the validity of the proposed method, an example is illustrated by computer simulation and a laboratory process, heat exchanger, is experimented.

  • Recently, the microprocessor with network function based-controlled systems instead of conventional microprocessors is widely used to industrial applications, and also those technologies are widely adopted for train control and monitoring in modern rapid transit systems such as railway vehicles. The purpose of this paper is to propose a high quality data transmission line of railway vehicle system controlled by a microprocessor, which was designed and realized through SMG 7&8 and ISA project. Noise, distortion and attenuation are always present in data transmission system and strictly limit performance. This paper describes a method to calculate the propagation constant, attenuation constant, phase velocity and length of stub.

  • This paper presents exact Autotransformers(ATs)-fed AC electric Railroad system modeling using constant current mode far locomotives. An AC electric railroad system is rapidly changing single-phase load, and at a feeding substation, 3-phase electric power is transferred to paired directional single-phase electric power. As the train moves along a section of line between two adjacent ATs. The proposed AC electric railroad system modeling method considers the line self-impedances and mutual-impedances. The constant current mode model objectives are to calculate the catenary and rail voltages with the loop equation. When there are more than one train in the AC electric railroad system, the principle of superposition applies and the only difference between the system analyses for one train. Finally, this paper shows the general equation of an AC electric railroad system, and that equation has no relation with trains number, trains position, and feeding distance.

  • Length of most underground power cable in nation is not so long. Therefore it is operated without conductor transposition due to low unbalanced ratio. However, if cable length is long, line constant of each cable will be different. Different line constant can induce unbalanced voltage and current of sheath. Also it can induce several induced interference. This paper describes the operation effectiveness through steady and transient analysis on transposition and untransposition of cable conductor. Especially sheath current and induced voltage are analyzed and compared in case of transposition and untransposition. EMTP is used for modeling and analysis.

  • LOS analysis is used for optimal deployment of mid-range guided weapon system or system engagement effectiveness simulation. Comparing to real-world, LOS analysis includes error sources such as coarse terrain data resolution, refraction of radio waves, and several ideal assumptions. In this research, exact LOS algorithm under assumption of constant earth curvature and error analysis of that is investigated. It proved that LOS algorithm under assumption of constant earth curvature has negligible error in mid-range guidance weapon system's scope.

  • The main goal of this research is to solve variational inequalities involving quasimonotone operators in infinite-dimensional real Hilbert spaces numerically. The main advantage of these iterative schemes is the ease with which step size rules can be designed based on an operator explanation rather than the Lipschitz constant or another line search method. The proposed iterative schemes use a monotone and non-monotone step size strategy based on mapping (operator) knowledge as a replacement for the Lipschitz constant or another line search method. The strong convergences have been demonstrated to correspond well to the proposed methods and to settle certain control specification conditions. Finally, we propose some numerical experiments to assess the effectiveness and influence of iterative methods.

  • 본 논문에서는 H-모양 공진 개구를 이용한 평면 기판의 유전율 특성 분석 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 마이크로스트립 전송선로의 접지면에 H-모양 공진 개구를 추가하여 대역 저지 필터를 생성하였다. 마이크로스트립 전송선로의 접지면 뒤에 2 mm 두께의 평면 기판을 놓고 기판의 유전율 변화에 따른 공진주파수의 변화를 조사하였다. 기존의 상보 분할 링 공진기 구조를 사용하였을 때와 비교하여 기준 공진주파수에 대한 주파수의 변화 비가 커짐을 알 수 있었다.

분말재료의 복소 유전율 및 투자율 측정 (Measurement of Complex Permittivity and Permeability for Powder-type Materials)

  • Materials used at microwave are usually used as a dielectric with a manufacturing purpose of printed circuit boards, etc. Complex permittivity of them can be measured from attenuation constant or propagation constant of a transmission line using a microstrip line with bulk type. But as the technique recently which can manufacture to have complex permittivity and permeability demanded using nonferrous metals for powder-type grows up, we need sensors and methods which can measure characteristics of powder-type materials. So far measuring methods of permittivity and permeability with waveguide or coaxial cable are used but they have faults which have a complex measurement method and are difficult to simultaneously measure permittivity and permeability. In this paper, a simultaneous measuring method of permittivity and permeability with 2-port coaxial cable and a new proposed calculation. The proposed 2-port coaxial cable is designed to be easy to insert materials and to have a wideband. We measure permittivity and permeability of magnetic powder(Ni-Fe-Mo, Ni-Fe) which reveal its characteristic at $0.3{\sim}1.3GHz$ to identify the proposed sensor.

  • This Paper Presents the identification of rotor time constant using Neural Network. The difference between the rotor time constant of a controller and the actual one causes the degradation of motor performance in indirect vector control scheme. The actual value is varied by heating of motor, so on-line tuning method is necessary. Therefore, the identification using Neural Network is used in this paper. The simulation using Matlab/Simulink shows that the proposed method suitably identifies the rotor time constant in the steady state
