  • The application field of photovoltaic system has been increased widely. In the application of photovoltaic system, the utility interactive photovoltaic system(UIPVS) has benefits of not only the home energy saving in domestic system but also reduction of peak power which threaten the capacity of power plant equipment when the maximum power consumption is occurred in daytime. This paper represents the effect of the nonlinear AC load which connected to the UIPVS with parallel connection and introduces the active power filtering(APF) techniques to the UIPVS for the reactive power compensation. The enhancement of source side power quality using APF algorithm is verified using simulation.

취업주부의 가사노동시간에 관한 연구 (Time Spent on Housework by Employed Wives)

  • The purpose of this stud is : (1) to figure out the amount of time being usually spent on the housework performed by the employed wives and (2) to find out factors influencing the total and the specified housework time. The major findings are the following : 1) A employed wife spends 374 minutes(6.2 hours) on the average a day on the housework. Compared with research results of the past, this shows little difference, and less 157 minutes than full time homeworker. Time connected with meals is 123minutes, clothing (68), management and marketing(64), family care(61), and housing care(58). 2) Family environment variables (the wife's education level, wife's employment status, income, young child's age and presence of employed housekeeper) significantly differentiates the housework time. In general, a wife with higher SES level spends less time for housework except family care. 3) Housework related variables (planning, preference, performance competency, and performance stand rd) significantly differentiate the specified houseworks. High planning, preference, and performance competency do not necessarily diminish the housework time except routine houseworks. High performance standard causes her to spend more time. 4) A wife' sex-role attitudes and a husbands attitudes perceived are more traditional, she spends more time.

  • 최근 인터넷의 발달과 모바일 기기에 대한 소비가 확충되면서 인터넷을 이용하여 기존의 기기들을 원격으로 제어하는 기술에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모바일 웹 페이지를 만들어서 웹을 통하여 연결된 기기들을 제어하는 시스템을 제안코자 하였다. 그리고 모바일 기기를 이용한 웹 제어시스템은 홈네트워크, 텔레메틱스 둥 그 응용 분야가 넓기 때문에 앞으로 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

Remote Vital Signal Monitoring System Based on Wireless Sensor Network Using Ad-Hoc Routing

  • A distributed healthcare monitoring system prototype for clinical and trauma patients was developed, using wireless sensor network node. The proposed system aimed to measure various vital physiological health parameters like ECG and body temperature of patients and elderly persons, and transfer his/her health status wirelessly in Ad-hoc network to remote base station which was connected to doctor's PDA/PC or to a hospital's main Server using wireless sensor node. The system also aims to save the cost of healthcare facility for patients and the operating power of the system because sensor network is deployed widely and the distance from sensor to base station was shorter than in general centralized system. The wireless data communication will follow IEEE 802.15.4 frequency communication with ad-hoc routing thus enabling every motes attached to patients, to form a wireless data network to send data to base-station, providing mobility and convenience to the users in home environment.

  • This paper proposes a remote control system that combines computer network and an autonomous mobile robot. We control remotely an autonomous mobile robot with vision via the internet to guide it under unknown environments in the real time. The main feature of this system is that local operators need a World Wide Web browser and a computer connected to the internet communication network and so they can command the robot in a remote location through our Home Page. This system offers an image compression method using motion H.263 concept which reduces large time delay that occurs in network during image transmission.

  • Recently, A robot which accomplish many tasks is the universality in fixed environment. But home robot or entertainment robots has interested greatly, and the concept of service robots is outstanding newly. In special, research about the self-steering robot is increasing gradually. Also Internet has become general, many information devices and tools were connected with internet. According to such a trend, we developed the mobile robot that moves by self-localization and is controlled in the basis of internet. Our robot system will assist office workers. In this paper, we introduce mechanical feature, control system and service faculty of robot, MAIRO in an office environment.

The hardware architecture of this system consists of an autonomous mobile robot, workstation, and local computers. The software architecture of this system includes the server part for communication between user and robot and the client part for the user interface and a robot control system. The server and client parts are developed using Java language which is suitable to internet application and supports multi-platform. Furthermore, this system offers an image compression method using motion JPEG concept which reduces large time delay that occurs in network during image transmission.

수의에 관한 연구 (A Study on Shroud)

  • This is a study of the history and the changes of methods of making shroud from Koryo up to present. Korea is Known as a country of East with its courtious people, and naturally the people observed the proprieties, especially on the funeral, in performing religious services and worshiping of the ancestors. Since Koryo and Yi Dynasty, because of the complexcity of the formalities under the confucianism, the shroud also became very complex. The process of making shroud was various according to the classes and economical circumstances. They made shroud of fine textured hemp cloth or silk, selecting one of 'good days' in leap year. As they believed the shroud should be rotten as soon as possible, fine textured hemp cloth was common as for the material. The color of the shroud was either plain or colored as the casual wears. In sewing shroud, the thread shouldn't be knotted nor connected in each seam and the strips should not be even numbered. These methods of making shroud have been changed variously and symplified according to the economical circumstances up to now.

  • An experimentation on the on-line fault detection and diagnosis(FDD) system has been performed with HVAC system in he experimental building constructed inside the large scale environmental chamber. Personal computer with a home-made FDD program by pattern recognition method utilizing artificial neural network was connected on-line via Ether-net TCP/IP to the supervisory control server for HVAC system. The FDD program monitored the HVAC system by 1 minuted interval. The results showed that he FDD program detected the sudden or abrupt faults such s those in fans, sensors and heater, etc.

  • In this paper we implement a robot system consisted of mobile tole robot to be controlled by client through web browser Newly Internet is connected to all network of the whole world. If client uses the network like this, client can control direction of a robot that is selected in free place. In this study, system is embodied in using robot that can move freely in plan place and cod camera that can grab robot image. System transmit image data of cod camera to java server that is placed in web server of internet that is used by client. Java server display incoming data in home page using java applet. Then web browser offer robot image to client and client send remote control signal to robot. Control signal is transmitted to robot by java server and robot receiving signal moves toward direction wanted by client.
