포항항의 VTS 서비스구역 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of VTS Service Area in Pohang)

  • In world trade, the vessel traffic in major routes has been congested due to the rapid increase of cargoes and shipping tonnages. The patterns of vessel traffic have also been complicated and diversified. Therefore it was necessary that the Vessel Traffic Service(VTS) should be established in order to enhance the safety of navigation, to prevent the loss of life and damage to the environment. The first advanced radar surveillance system(LevelIII-VTS) was introduced in Pohang, Korea in 1993 and in 13 other ports later. While the hardware of Korea VTS is equal to that of an advanced country, the software, specially the operation manual, the recruitment and education of VTS operator, and the VTS service area is behind that of Russia, USA, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore and others. After researching and investigating. the VTS equipment and service area of many countries, and analyzing the IMO regulations relevant to VTS and the traffic pattern and accident of Pohang port, the most efficient VTS service area should be established in Pohang. According to the analysis of the preceding studies and research on VTS, the worldwide VTS areas are recognized under the following conditions: First, the service area should be extended over at least radar coverage taking into account of traffic flow, traffic density, the degree of danger to navigation and harbour condition in order to provide all possible services. Second, the established service area should be subdivided and systematized to render reliable VTS services, such as the allocation of VHF frequency and reporting procedure in each area. In conclusion, the VTS service area of Pohang must be established and operated over 10 miles from shore(radar site) covering the radar coverage, so as to include the area of traffic congestion and high density traffic flow.

지하철건설에 따른 문화재 보호와 동대문역사시공 보고서(1) (Study on the measurement of blasting vibration response in construction a subway station at East gate of cultural treasure)

  • The East gate station area is 205M long and 24m deep which is located 13 meter in front of cultural treasure east gate. The area to be excavated by blasting is composed of granite rocks from 10M depth to 25M. Surface earth extends to up 10M depth. This job site has in involves heavy traffic congestion such as over 10,000 cars passing in rush hour where clossing No 1 lint of subway running 3 minitues head way. This east gate station construction is to be executed for the provent of the setting down of underground level and blasting vibration effects to cultural treasure east gate. Therefore, the caltural treasure committee approved this execution subject to the following condition. 1. Subway gelogical foundation and measured natural frequency 2. Execution of water tight wall 3. Sellection and test of damping material for wall and under rail 4. Measurement of monitoring system during the execution 5. Measurement of histogram system The above two projects was carried out by Dr. Kwang team in KAIST and prof, Han in Hanyang University under accadamic study contract. In the blasting work, for the pourpose of reduced vibration and low explosion velocity such as CCR, Kovex slurry. The 2nd, used electrical caps shall be delay cap and M/S caps in multi delay. The 3rd, drilling pattern is bench cut in open cut and applied control blasting in tunnelling and also shall drill anti-vibration holes as line drilling.

TCS 자료를 이용한 강설과 고속도로 통행특성 관계 연구 (Analysis of Snowing Impacts on Freeway Trip Characteristics Using TCS Data)

  • 기상조건은 도로 및 운전조건을 열악하게 함으로써 교통사고와 정체의 원인이 되며, 운전자의 통행선택에 영향을 미쳐 기종점통행특성도 변화시킨다. 기종점 통행량은 교통계획에 있어 필수적으로 요구되는 자료이지만, 기상조건과 통행량과의 관련성을 검토한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 연구는 강설조건이 기종점간 통행특성에 미치는 영향을 분석한 연구로, 1998년-2008년 기상자료와 TCS 통행량 자료를 이용하여 강설일과 비강설일의 차종별 일통행량, 평균통행거리를 비교 분석하였으며, 강설수준별 통행량 관계를 제시하였다. 분석결과 강설일 대비 비강설일의 통행량은 감소하며, 통행거리도 감소한다는 것을 확인하였으며. 강설시 주말/평일별 차종별로 통행특성의 차이가 있고, 강설수준에 따른 통행량의 차이도 있으나 그 정도는 크지 않다는 것을 제시하였다.

청색증형 선천성 심질환아의 고식적 수술 이후 EBT에 의한 폐혈관계이 비침습적 추적 검사 (Non-invasive Fdlow-up of Pulmonary artey by EBT Other Palliatrve Shunt Operatin)

  • Background :To assess the accuracy of Electron-Beam Tomography(EBT) in following evaluation of the pulmonary vascular system after a shunt operation in the cyanotic con-genital heart disease with pulmonary stenosis or pulmonary atresia. Material and Method : Sixteen patients(M:F=11:5) who received Blalock-Taussig(n=8) bidirectional cavo-pulmonary shunt(n=10) and unifocalization (n=2) were ncluded in the study. We evaluated the patency of the shunt the morphology of intrapericardial and hilar pulmonary arteries(PA) peripheral pulmonary vascularity by background lung attenuation and the abundance of arterial & venous collateral. Angiography(n=12) and echocardiography(n=20) were used as the gold standard for the comparison of EBT results. Result: EBT was consistent with angiogram/ echo in 100% of the evaluation for the patency of the shunt and in 12(by angiogram 100%) and 19(by echo 95%) for the detection the hypoplasia stenosis or interruption of central PA In measuring of PA EBT and angiogram corrlated(r=0.91) better than EBT-echo(r=0.88) or echo-angiogram(r=0.72) Abundant systemic arterial collateral were noted in 4 and venous collateral in 3 cases. In evaluating the peripheral pulmonary vascularity the homogenous and normal-ranged lung attenuation(m=6) decreased but homo-genous attenuation(n=1) segment-by-sgment heterogeneous attenuation(n=3) homogenous but asymmetrical attenuation(n=3) segment-by-segment heterogeneous attenuation(n=3) homogenous but asymmetrical attenuation(n=3) and venous congestion(n=2) were observed nd 12 of them were compatible with the blood flow pattern revealed by cardiac catheterization. Conclusion: EBT was accurate in the integrated evaluation of the pulmonary vascular system after the shunt including the patency of the shunt operaion the morphology and dimension of the central and hilar PAs and the loco-regional pulmonary flow in the lung parenchyma. It suggests the useful information about the need of secondary shunt operation the proper timing time for total repair and the need of interventional procedure prior to total repair.

역혈류성 전외측대퇴섬피판을 이용한 무릎 잘린끝의 재건 (Reconstruction of Disarticulated Knee Stump by Using Distally Based Anterolateral Thigh Island Flap)

  • Purpose: The basic vascular anatomy and versatility of the anterolateral thigh flap was reported firstly by Song in 1984 and then by Zhang who introduced the reverse flow pattern of this flap. In this case, the authors reviewed various articles and their experiences with the distally based anterolateral thigh flap and applied it for coverage of bone-exposed wound occurred at the distal of the disarticulated knee stump. We consequently reported the reliability and resourcefulness of this flap in the difficult and limited situation. Methods: A 67-year-old-man who had suffered from arteriosclerotic obliterans inevitably underwent the disarticulation at knee joint due to clinical deterioration. He presented to our clinic with soft tissue necrosis and bone exposure at the stump. We debrided the wound and conducted the distally based anterolateral thigh island flap by transecting proximal portion of descending branch of the lateral circumflex femoral artery and the $14{\times}10cm$ sized flap was transferred to cover the defect. The pedicle measured 14 cm in length with pivot point 7 cm above the patella. Results: The postoperative course was mainly uneventful except early venous congestion for 4 days and subsequent partial skin loss. The wound was healed by secondary intension and no other sequelae had been observed during follow-up period of 12 months. Conclusion: Despite the presence of various reconstructive choices, the distally based anterolateral thigh island flap can be designed to repair soft tissue defects around the knee region, providing its reliable blood supply and long pedicle length, especially in the challenging cases.

도시물류정비를 위한 공공부문의 역할에 관한 연구 (Principles for Government Involvement in Urban Logistics Planning)

  • 도시의 통행활동을 여객통행과 화물통행 등으로 구분하여 온 지는 오래 되었으나 지금까지 도시교통의 계획과 정비는 주로 여객교통을 중심으로 되어 왔다. 그렇지만 교통혼잡과 환경오염 등 날로 심각해지는 도시문제의 하나로 화물자동차의 통행 증가가 지적되고 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위해 도시물류의 정비가 중요하다는 인식이 점차 확산되고 있다. 특히 다빈도 소량운송 시대로의 전환과 택배산업의 활성화는 화물자동차 통행수요를 증가시킬 것으로 예상되어 화물자동차의 통행관리가 도시교통의 현안과제로 떠오르고 있다. 정부는 화물유통촉진법의 개정을 통하여 도시물류의 중요성과 정비방향을 제시함과 더불어 광역도시 단위의 도시물류정비계획 수립을 서두르고 있으나 도시물류의 정비에서 다루어야 할 내용이나 도시물류 정비를 이끌어야 할 공공부문의 역할에 대해서는 아직도 많은 연구가 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구는 도시물류를 정비하는데 있어 공공부문이 하여야 할 역할에 대해 논하였다. 연구의 범위는 중앙정부에서 시행할 국가물류의 대상은 제외하고 광역도시 단위에서 할 수 있는 사항을 중심으로 하였으며, 도시물류의 기능을 토대로 공공부문의 개입이 필요한 이유와 공공부문의 역할에 대해 정리하였다. 연구의 결과는 앞으로 도시물류정비계획의 수립에서 다루어야 할 사항과 공공부문의 개입 정도를 판단하는데 도움이 된다.

상황버섯 균사체를 이용한 발효주가 흰쥐의 위점막에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Fermented Rice Wine Using Mycelium of Phellinus linteus on the Gastric Mucosa of Rat)

  • It was examined the effect of fermented rice wine using mycelium of Phellinus linteus (FWPL) on the gastric mucosa of rat. The gastric mucosal lesions were not seen macroscopically in normal, but ethanol-administrated rats produced congestion and edema with a few local lesions. The administration of FWPL showed a similar pattern as like normal except trace histopathological changes. The results of Western blot analyses showed that the higher expression of inducible nitric oxygenase (iNOS), cyclooxygenase (COX)-1, COX-2, tumor necrosis factor-$\alpha$ and c-fos, especially COX-2, in the ethanol-administrated rat compared with normal rat. But FWPL-administrated rat showed a trace increase of these expression compared to normal rat. About immunohistochemical observations, weaker iNOS reactions were detected in mucous cells of epithelim of ethanol administrated rat compared with normal and FWPL-administrated rat. These results suggested that FWPL-administrated rat showed a trace changes on the mucus barrier-related protein expression compared with ethanol-administrated rat and thus FWPL may be use to develop a functional alcoholic beverage.

선박재항시간에 대한 분석연구 -인천항의 경우- (An Analysis of Ship Turnaround Time in the Port of Inchon)

  • Transportation provides an infrastructure vital to economic growth, and it is also an integral part of production. As a port is regarded as the interface between the maritime transport and domestic transport sectors, it certainly play a key role in any economic development. Ship's delay caused by port congestion has recently has recently attracted attended with the analysis of overall operation in port. In order to analyse complicated port operation which contains large number of variable factors, queueing theory is needed to be adopted, which is applicable to a large scale transportation system in chiding ship's delay in Inchon port in relation to ship's delay problem. The overall findings are as follows ; 1. The stucture of queueing model in this port can be represented as a complex of multi-channel single-phase 2. Ship's arrival and service pattern were Poisson Input Erlangian Service. 3. The suitable formula to calculate the mean delay in this port, namely, $W_q={\frac{{\rho}}{{\lambda}(1-{\rho})}}{\frac{e{\small{N}}({\rho}{\cdot}N)}{D_{N-1}({\rho}{\cdot}N)}}$ Where, ${\lambda}$ : mean arrival rate ${\mu}$ : mean servicing rate N : number of servicing channel ${\rho}$ : utilization rate (l/Nm) $e{\small{N}}$ : the Poisson function $D_{(n-1)}$ : a function of the cumulative Poisson function 4. The utility rate is 95.0 percents in general piers, 75.39 percents in container piers, and watiting time 28.43 hours in general piers, 13.67 hours in container piers, and the length of queue is 6.17 ships in general piers, 0.93 ships in container piers, and the ship turnaround time is 107.03 hours in general piers, 51.93 hours in container piers.

서울대도시권역의 설정과 지역구조에 관한 연구 (A study on the establishment and regional strunture of Seoul metropolitan region)

  • 본 논문은 지속적인 서울시의 성장이 그 주변지역의 성장을 수반하면서 서울대도시 권화되어가는 과정을 밝히고 서울대도시권역을 설정한 후, 서울대도시권역 내에서 기능적 특성에 따라 지역을 분류하려는 것이 그 목적이었다. 1990년 시점에서의 서울대도시권역의 경계가 어느 정도 확대되었는가를 측정하기 위하여 도시화 정도를 측정하는 지표와 서울과 의 기능적 연계성을 측정하는 지표를 토대로 하여 그 권역을 설정하였다. 그 결과 서울대도 시권역은 수도권의 거의 전 지역을 포함하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 서울대도시권역에 포함된 지역들은 서울이 갖고 있는 기능을 일부 분담하면서 기능적인 면에서 특화되거나 전 문화되어 기능적 특성에 따라서 신종주거기능 탁월지역, 제조업기능 탁월지역, 서비스기능 탁월지역, 잠재적 개발가능지역의 4개 그룹으로 지역을 분류할 수 있었다.

시리즈 비디오 데이터의 접근 패턴에 기반한 프록시 캐슁 기법 (Proxy Caching Scheme Based on the User Access Pattern Analysis for Series Video Data)

  • 급격하게 증가하고 있는 인터넷 사용자들은 인터넷을 통하여 좋은 품질의 연속미디어 데이터를 제공받기를 원하고 있다. 그러나 서버의 과부하, 네트워크의 혼잡, 사용자에 대한 응답 지연 등의 문제는 이러한 요구를 충족시키지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 연속미디어 데이터의 특성과 사용자 접근 패턴을 고려한 네트워크 캐슁정책(PPC, PPCwP)을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 PPC 기법은 주기적으로 각 연속미디어 객체의 구간 재생량을 측정하여 인기도 분포를 결정하고, 이 분포에 따라 결정되어진 캐슁 데이터의 양만큼 객체의 앞부분부터 네트워크 캐슁을 수행한다. 또한 새로 생성된 객체의 인기도를 예측하기 위하여 시리즈 정보를 사용하여 캐슁할 데이터의 양을 결정하고 사용자의 요구가 발생하기 전에 인기도가 급상승할 비디오를 네트워크 캐쉬에 프리패칭하는 PPCwP 기법을 제안한다. PPCwP 기법은 시리즈 그룹의 정보를 사용하여 선반입함으로써 사용자의 요구에 대한 초기지연시간과 서버의 부하를 감소시키며, 제한된 캐쉬 공간을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 한다. 제안하는 기법 PPC와 PPCwP의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 실제로 운영되고 있는 인터넷 방송국 VoD(Video on Demand) 서버(iMBC 인터넷 방송국)의 로그 데이터를 이용한 트레이스 기반 모의실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 LFU나 LRU보다 초기지연시간과 BHR 측면에서 우수한 성능을 보였다.
