자유비행 환경에서의 항공기 분리보장을 위한 충돌 탐지 및 해결 방법에 대한 고찰 (A Study on Conflict Detection and Resolution for Aircraft Separation Assurance in a Free Flight Environment)

  • The goal for the CD&R system is to predict that a conflict is going to occur in the future, communicate the detected conflict to a human operator, and, in some cases, assist in the resolution of the conflict situation. To provide insight into different methods of conflict detection and resolution, a literature review of previous research models and current developmental and operational systems was performed. This paper focuses only on the specific attributes of each model, not on the depth to which a model has been analyzed, validated, or accepted. Thus, care should be taken to remember that a model that seems to be simple according to our categorization scheme may be significantly more viable than an apparently sophisticated model.

자율형 운항 알고리즘 설계 연구 (Autonomous flight Algorithm Design)

  • 항공기 분리보증은 자유비행의 핵심요구사항이다. 본 논문에서는 위임권한 확대, 공역 효율성 문제 등 자유비행의 실증적 문제해결을 위해 자율형 운항 알고리즘을 제안하고, 제안된 알고리즘과 포텐셜 필드 알고리즘을 모델링하여 두 가지 조건의 시나리오 상황에서 항공기 성능 데이터를 활용, 알고리즘 성능 및 충돌해결과 운항 자율성 효과 등을 측정하였다. 실험결과 자유비행 공역 하에서 자율형 운항 알고리즘이 포텐셜 필드 알고리즘보다 알고리즘 성능, 충돌해결, 운항 자율성 효과 측면에서 우수하였다.

A Development of 3-D Resolution Algorithm for Aircraft Collision Avoidance

  • Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) is designed to enhance safety in aircraft operations, by reducing the incidences of mid-air collision between aircraft. The current version of TCAS provides only vertical resolution advisory to the pilots, if an aircraft's collision with another is predicted to be imminent, while efforts to include horizontal resolution advisory have been made, as well. This paper introduces a collision resolution algorithm, which includes both vertical and horizontal avoidance maneuvers of aircraft. Also, the paper compares between the performance of the proposed algorithm and that of algorithms with only vertical or horizontal avoidance maneuver of aircraft.
