  • 열차경합의 사전검지 및 해소 시스템(Railway Conflict Detection and Resolution System, RDCRS)은 열차운행관리 시스템(Railway Traffic Management System, RTMS)의 최상위 의사결정지원 모듈이다. 본 논문에서는 한국철도에서 RCDRS의 필요성과 국외 적용현황 및 기존 연구현황을 분석한다. 또 RCDRS를 한국철도에 적용하기 위한 전반적인 방안을 한국철도 주요 노선별 열차운영 여건을 고려하여 제시한다. 또, 철도청에서 실시하는 '사령실 통합 신호설비 시설' 사업에 관한 RCDRS의 1단계 적용방안을 제시한다.

Detection of Conflict Transition Scene Using Character Regions (인물 면적을 이용한 갈등 전환 장면 검출)

  • The story is formed by the flow of the development and resolution of the conflict between the characters. Namely, the story consists of conflict setting, development, and resolution. Character region is an important expression technique to describe the emotions or states of characters and the relationship between characters and the environment. The purpose of this paper is to propose a method for detecting the transition of conflict from the graph of character region's change. To this end, we present a method of generating a change graph of a character region in a movie by calculating the character region and a method of detecting a conflict transition scene from a graph of character region's change. To verify the performance of the proposed method, an experiment was conducted to extract conflict transition scenes for 7 movies, and performance evaluation results of 73.57% accuracy and 77.26% recall were obtained. This proves that it is possible to extract conflict transition scenes based on the character region.

  • 본 논문에서는 토픽맵 기반의 온톨로지 병합 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 충돌의 유형을 트리 구조로 정의하고 충돌 탐지 및 해결을 통하여 두 온톨로지를 하나로 병합하는 기법을 제안한다. 병합충돌은 의미적 대응 요소들의 유사값에 기반하여 엘리먼트기반, 구조기반 임시기반의 트리 구조로 분류되고 이 충돌 트리를 이용하여 두 매핑 요소사이의 병합충돌을 탐지하고 해결한다. 실험을 위해 토픽맵 질의언어 tolog를 사용하여 동서양 철학온톨로지 및 독일 문학온톨로지들의 병합 전과 후의 질의 결과를 비교하고 이를 정확율과 재현율로 병합 성능을 평가하였으며 그 결과 손실없는 병합이 가능함을 보였다.

  • Railway conflict detection and resolution problem (RCDRP) involves complicated field constraints that should be considered for practical service. In this paper, we address those constraints in brief. Particularly, following situations are addressed; (1) temporal change of network topology, (2) consideration of diverse conditions of track and train, for example, single/double tracks and passenger/freight service, (3) siding capacity limitation, (4) bidirectional sides used by both inbound and outbound trains, (5) regulation for passenger transfer service, (6) consideration of siding length, (7) Restriction on stopping before the track segment with steep slope.

  • 현재 사용되고 있는 열차운행관리 시스템(Railway Traffic Management System, RTMS)에서 경합 검지 및 해소업무는 역 및 선로의 정보(상태)연계 및 자동화의 미비로 인하여 착발선 결정, 착발시간 결정, 교행역, 대피역등에서 발생하는 경합 검지 및 해소(Railway Conflict Detection and Resolution)의 결정이 신속하게 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 본 논문은 국내외적으로 적용하고 있는 열차 경합 검지 방법을 조사 비교하여 가장 적절한 알고리즘을 개발, 구현하여 현재 진행중인 철도청 사령실 통합 신호설비 구축사업 프로젝트에 적용하고자 한다.

  • Enterprise security management system proposed to properly manage heterogeneous security products is the security management infrastructure designed to avoid needless duplications of management tasks and inter-operate those security products effectively. In this paper, we defined the security policies using Z-Notation and the detection algorithm of policy conflict for managing heterogeneous firewall systems. It is designed to help security management build invulnerable security policies that can unify various existing management infrastructures of security policies. Its goal is not only to improve security strength and increase the management efficiency and convenience but also to make it possible to include different security management infrastructures while building security policies. With the process of the detection and resolution for policy conflict, it is possible to integrate heterogeneous security policies and guarantee the integrity of them by avoiding conflicts or duplications among security policies. And further, it provides convenience to manage many security products existing in large networks.

  • An advantage of the mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is that mobile nodes can self-organize the network topology without the help of network infrastructure. However, for the perfect self-organization of the MANET, each mobile node needs to self-configure its address. Even though a mobile node configures a unique address during the booting time, its address may conflict with nodes in other MANETs since MANETs containing the same address can be merged. The address autoconfiguration protocol implemented in this work consists of the strong DAD (Duplicate Address Detection) and the weak DAD. A unique address of a node is assigned by the strong DAD during the booting time and the weak DAD is used to detect address conflict and resolve address conflict during the ad hoc routing. In this work, we have implemented address autoconfiguration in the IPv6-based MANET using AODV as the routing protocol. We describe how the IPv6 address autoconfiguration is implemented and verify our implementation by showing the test scenarios on our testbed.

Development of a Real-Time Video Image Tracking Algorithm for Incident Detection

  • The current VIPS are not effective in safety point of view, because they are originally developed for mimicking loop detectors. Therefore, it is important to identify vehicle trajectories in real time, because recognizing vehicle movements over a detection zone enables to identify which situations are hazardous, and what causes them to be hazardous. In order to improve limited safety functions of the current VIPS, this research has developed a computer vision system of monitoring individual vehicle trajectories based on image processing, and offer the detailed information, for example, incident detection and conflict as well as traffic information via tracking image detectors. This system is capable of recognizing individual vehicle maneuvers and increasing the effectiveness of various traffic situations. Experiments were conducted for measuring the cases of incident detection and abnormal vehicle trajectory with rapid lane change.

Conflict Detection for Multi-agent Motion Planning using Mathematical Analysis of Extended Collision Map (확장충돌맵의 수학적 분석을 이용한 다개체의 충돌탐지)

  • Effective tools which can alleviate the complexity and computational load problem in collision-free motion planning for multi-agent system have steadily been demanded in robotics field. To reduce the complexity, the extended collision map (ECM) which adopts decoupled approach and prioritization is already proposed. In ECM, the collision regions which represent the potential collision of robots are calculated using the computational power; the complexity problem is not resolved completely. In this paper, we propose a mathematical analysis of the extended collision map; as a result, we formulate the collision region as an equation with 5-8 variables. For mathematical analysis, we introduce realistic assumptions as follows; the path of each robot can be approximated to a straight line or an arc and every robot moves with uniform velocity or constant acceleration near the intersection between paths. Our result reduces the computational complexity in comparison with the previous result without losing optimality, because we use simple but exact equations of the collision regions. This result can be widely applicable to coordinated multi-agent motion planning.

  • As of March 2005, the standard of traffic signal controllers became effective. The standard presents specifications and functions of a traffic signal controller which collects traffic information, sends it to the traffic control center, and controls traffic signal with adequate traffic signal timing provided by the traffic control center. Since the controllers by the previous standard lack parts compatibility and have different control functions and communication protocol, the maintenance cost has been increased. Also, some important functions like conflict detection have not worked out perfectly. To overcome these disadvantages, first of all, this standard secures hardware compatibility. Conflict detection method has been enhanced. Communication protocol to the traffic control center was included in the standard. With this standard, independent maintenance system and prompt treatment of hardware malfunctions becomes possible. Also, the unified intersection traffic control method will increase traffic safety.
