모든 가능한 진단도구를 활용한 균형비교신뢰도의 제안 (Proposition of balanced comparative confidence considering all available diagnostic tools)

  • 오늘날 정보 기술과 소셜미디어의 확산으로 인하여 빅 데이터에 관심이 집중되고 있다. 이를 처리하기 위한 기술 중의 하나가 데이터마이닝기법인데, 이들 중에는 연관성 규칙이 많이 활용되고 있다. 연관성 규칙은 방향에 따라 양, 음, 그리고 역의 연관성 규칙 등이 존재하며, 평가 기준을 설정하고자 하는 경우에는 이들 세 가지 연관성 규칙을 동시에 고려하는 것이 바람직하다고 할 수 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 의학진단분야에서 활용되고 있는 진단도구들 중에서 민감도, 특이도, 위양성도, 그리고 위음성도를 고려한 균형비교신뢰도를 제안하고자 한다. 또한 흥미도 측도가 가져야 할 조건들을 점검한 후, 예제를 통하여 측도의 유용성을 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 균형비교신뢰도는 비교신뢰도와 역의 비교신뢰도가 양의 값을 가지는 경우에는 양의 값을 가지며, 이들 두 값이 음인 경우에는 음으로 나타났다. 따라서 연관성 규칙의 평가 기준 관점에서 볼 때 비교신뢰도와 역의 비교신뢰도를 개별적으로 이용하기 보다는 균형비교신뢰도를 활용하는 것이 더 바람직하다고 할 수 있다.

대학생의 전공만족이 진로결정 자기효능감 및 취업자신감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of College Student's Major Satisfaction on Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy and Self-Confidence in Job-Seeking)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 전공만족이 진로결정 자기효능감과 취업자신감에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 한다. 연구방법은 서울, 경기도의 뷰티전공 2년제 대학생 335명을 대상으로 설문조사하여 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 전공만족이 진로결정 자기효능감, 취업자신감의 상관관계를 분석하였고, 각 변인들 간에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 첫째, 대학생의 전공만족이 진로결정 자기효능감과 취업자신감에 통계적 유의한 정적(+)상관관계가 확인되었다. 둘째, 전공만족이 자기 효능감에 미치는 영향으로 자기평가, 문제해결, 목표선택에서 통계적 유의미한 영향이 확인되었다. 섯째, 전공만족이 취업자신감에 통계적 유의미한 영향이 확인되었다. 넷째, 진로결정 자기효능감이 취업자신감에서 통계적 유의미한 영향이 확인되었다.

서울지역(地域) 중고등학교(中高等學校) 학교보건실태(學校保健實態) 및 양호교사 업무수행(業務遂行)에 관(關)한 요인분석(要因分析) (A Study on the status of school health and analysis of factors affecting school nurse's activity in the elementary school)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the status of school health and analyze affecting factors of school nurses' self confidence and nursing activities of the secondary school in Seoul. The data was collected from 13th of August to 30th of October. The self reported questionairs were distributed during one of the school nurses seminars held in Seoul and 93 secondary school nurses answered. Analysis of the data was done utilizing SPSS for percentage, mean, T-test ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Coefficients. The results of study are summerized as follows; 1. General Characteristics The mean age of the subjects was 33.4 and mean length of experience as a school nurse was 7.3 years. 79.5 percent of them had clinical experiences and the mean clinic experience was 2.1 years. The majority of them were graduate of the baccalaureate nursing programs and 82.8 percent of them were married. 72.0 percent of the sample had religion, and 60.2 percent of them were in the national or public schools. 90.3 percent of them had independent duty. 2. The status of school health resources In average, there were 2,445 students, 37 classes and 63 teachers per school nurse. 48.4 percent of them were aware of the school budget. The budget for school health was 585,000 won per school in average. 30.0 percent of the schools had school health organization. The schools whose health clinics were on the first floor consisted of 79.3 percent, among them 42.9 percent were on the center of the building office. 3. Activities of school health nursing The average number of students using health clinic were 430 per month. The majority of the problem was digestive problem. There were 7.5 times of mean correspondences with parents per year. The activities of the school nurses were clinic management (29.0%), health care services (23.5%) and health education (14.1%). 4. The degrees of self confidence of the school nurse and nursing activities Self confidence measured by 6 items of self-reported questionaires scored by 4 point Likert Scale revealed. The nurses' self-confidence was 2.922 in clinic management, 2.909 in health education, 2.759 in program planning and evaluation, 2.757 in health care services, 2.692 in management of school environment, and 2.250 in operation of school health organization. The nursing activities scored by 2 point. The nursing activities was 1,870 in program planning and evaluation, 1.853 in health education, 1.843 in clinic management, 1.739 in health care services, 1.696 in management of school environment and 1.265 in operating of school health organization. 5. Factors affecting self confidence and nursing activities of school nurses The general characteristics of the school nurses and the school health resources were related to self confidence and nursing activities. The most significant variable to nurses' self confidence was type of the school ownership and the presence of school health organization was the most significant factor to nursing activities.

간호대학생 대상 심폐소생술 교육의 지속효과 (Retention of cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills in Nursing students)

  • The purpose of this research was to evaluate retention of cognitive knowledge, psychomotor skills and self-confidence on CPR 3 months after CPR training program. The sample consisted of 39 nursing students. We provided one rescuer CPR training program for nursing college students on the basis of AHA. The questionnaires for knowledge of CPR were developed 50 items based on AHA guidelines. Self-confidence were checked by 11 items questionnaires. The accuracy of CPR skills were checked by Skillreporter CPR training manikin and by researcher's evaluation based on CPR skill checklist. The results were as follows ; 1. The majority of participants didn't have any previously experiences of CPR training (76.9%). Only 15.1% previously took the CPR training with CPR practice. 2. In terms of self-confidence of CPR. The score were increased for 2 days (p>.001) but retention of self confidence was significantly statistical decreased in 3 months after training (p<.001). 3. There was a statistically significant decrement in mean of knowledge of CPR between 2 days and 3 months after CPR training (p<.001). 4. There was a statistically significant decrement in cognitive knowledge of CPR based on CPR skills checklist(p<.001). 5. Retention scores of psychomotor skills of CPR 3 months after training were 42.10% in numbers of adequate ventilation, 52.81% in numbers of adequate chest compression (p<.001) respectively. 6. Retention of passing rate on chest compressions of CPR 3 months after training was 27% (p<.001), on ventilation was 2.63% (p>.001). The error items with statistically significant differences 3 months after CPR training were too little ventilation (74.36%) and too little chest compressions (92.31%). The results of the study suggest that we need further evaluation of course components which could improve retention of CPR for all trainees.

학교보건교사 전염병관리교육 효과평가 (Evaluation of Field Epidemiology Specialist Program for School Nurse)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the educational effect of the Field Epidemiology Specialist Training Program for School Nurse which composed of 18hours curriculum. Method: The subjects were 797 who participated in the 2005 training program. Data was collected with structured questionnaires(knowledge on the control of communicable disease 15 items, attitude 15 items, and confidence in practice 14 items, demographic characteristics 4 items) before (January) and after (July to October) programs in 2005. Results: Knowledge on the control of communicable disease was improved from 9.7 points (possible range : 0-15) before program to 11.9 points after program. Attitude was improved from 53.6 points (possible range : 15-60) before program to 55.7 points after program. Confidence in practice was changed from 45.9 points (possible range : 14-56) before program to 50.0 points after program. Even though all three areas were improved after educational program, knowledge showed the largest change among them. Conclusion: We can conclude the educational program was effective because knowledge, attitude, and confidence in practice on the control of communicable were statistically significantly improved after educational program. Further educational program is recommended to be operated to get more improvement in attitude and confidence in practice. And short-term continuing educational program is needed to maintain and refresh the information on the control of communicable diseases in schools.

신생아중환자실 간호사가 인식한 간호업무의 중요도와 수행 자신감 (Analysis of the importance of nursing care and performance confidence perceived by nurses in the neonatal intensive care unit)

  • Purpose: Neonatal nurses are expected to have clinical competency to provide qualified and safe care for high-risk infants. An educational intervention to enhance nurses' clinical competence is often a priority in the nursing field. This study was conducted to explore nurses' perceived importance and performance confidence of nursing care activities in neonatal intensive care units. Methods: One hundred forty-one neonatal nurses from seven hospitals across South Korea participated in the online survey study. The scale of neonatal nursing care activity consisted of 8 subdomains including professional practice (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, education, research, and leadership). The Importance-Performance Matrix was used to analyze the importance of and confident performance in each of the nursing subdomains. Results: Both importance and performance confidence increased as nurses' age (p=.042 and p<.001) and clinical experience (p=.004 and p<.001). Participants scored relatively higher in importance and performance confidence in the professional practice subdomains (assessment, intervention, evaluation), but scored lower in the education and research subdomains. Conclusion: To provide evidence-based nursing care for high-risk infants in neonatal intensive care units, educational interventions should be developed to support nurses based on the findings of the research.

  • The purpose of this paper is comparatively to evaluate the confidence of Vehicle-Detector informations for various detectors in order to test to be possible the application of these to real time traffic signal control. The detectors which are tested for this study are Circle-Shaped Loop, Ultrasonic, Microwave and Image detector. The tested items for each detectors are traffic volume, degree of saturation for through and left turn movement, speed and queue length, etc. These items for each are tested at the field according to several situations, such as dry day, raining day, night and daytime. The result of these tests are performed comparative analysis and statistical examination in order to increase the confidence of the experiments.

  • The reduction of pipe-thickness induced by flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) is one of the most serious problems on the maintenance of piping system in nuclear power plants (NNP). If the thickness of a pipe component is reduced below the critical level, it cannot sustain pressure and consequently results in leakage or rupture. For this reason, wall thinning by FAC has been inspected in secondary side piping systems in NPPs. In this research Round Robin Test (RRT) was conducted to verify confidence of wall thinning measurement system in NPP. 12 inspectors from 3 companies participated and 23 specimens were used according to standard practice in RRT. The gage R&R analysis was introduced in regard to repeatability and reproducibility that are affected to measurement system errors. Confidence intervals of thickness measurement system were obtained.

An Empirical Study of Qualities of Association Rules from a Statistical View Point

  • Minimum support and confidence have been used as criteria for generating association rules in all association rule mining algorithms. These criteria have their natural appeals, such as simplicity; few researchers have suspected the quality of generated rules. In this paper, we examine the rules from a more rigorous point of view by conducting statistical tests. Specifically, we use contingency tables and chi-square test to analyze the data. Experimental results show that one third of the association rules derived based on the support and confidence criteria are not significant, that is, the antecedent and consequent of the rules are not correlated. It indicates that minimum support and minimum confidence do not provide adequate discovery of meaningful associations. The chi-square test can be considered as an enhancement or an alternative solution.

  • Measurement uncertainty should be evaluated according to ISO/IEC 17025. In Flow measurement area, uncertainty evaluation scheme was applied to the reference flow meter, sonic nozzle. Uncertainty was calculated by evaluating various uncertainty factors affected in flow measurement. The expanded uncertainty of the sonic nozzle was 0.21 % (confidence level of 95 %). This evaluation example will be useful in flow measurement uncertainty determination of other flow meters.
