The blockchain and crypto currency has become one of the most essential components of a communication network in the recent years. Through communication networking, we browse the internet, make VoIP phone calls, have video conferences and check e-mails via computers. A lot of researches are being conducting to address the blockchain and crypto currency challenges in communication networking and provide corresponding solutions. In this paper, a diverse kind of novel research works in terms of mechanisms, techniques, architectures, and frameworks have been proposed to provide possible solutions against the existing challenges in the communication networking. Such novel research works involve thermal load capacity techniques, intelligent sensing mechanism, secure cloud computing system communication algorithm for wearable healthcare systems, sentiment analysis, optimized resources.

1998년 도입된 GMDSS 제도의 현대화를 위한 프로젝트가 2012년부터 IMO 주관으로 추진되고 있다. 이와 관련하여 ITU에서는 2016년부터 전파규칙 개정을 위한 논의가 시작되었으며, 올해 11월에 최종 개정안이 확정될 예정이다. NAVDAT 및 VDES 같은 신규 무선설비들의 도입이 검토되고 있으며, Iridium 위성 시스템이 GMDSS 추가 위성시스템으로 승인되어 관련 후속조치가 논의되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 해상통신분야의 국제회의 동향을 분석하고 이에 따른 우리나라의 대응방안을 제시하였다.

Owing to the environment in which it has become difficult to face people, on-tact communication has been activated, and online video conferencing platforms have become indispensable collaboration tools. Although costs have dropped and productivity has improved, communication remains poor. Recently, various companies, including existing online videoconferencing companies, have attempted to solve communication problems by establishing a videoconferencing platform within the virtual reality (Virtual Reality) space. Although the VR videoconference platform has only improved upon the benefits of existing video conferences, the problem of manually summarizing minutes because there is no function to summarize minute documents still remains. Therefore, this study proposes a method for establishing a meeting minute summary system without applying cases to a VR videoconference platform. This study aims to solve the problem of communication difficulties by combining VR, a metaverse technology, with an existing online video conferencing platform.

At first there was practice, then festivals and theory followed. Compared to the animation production, which is older then the medium film itself, festivals and theory in this area started with a delay. While animation programs where shown in film festivals like Cannes since the mid 1940s, the first animation festival in Annecy, France was founded in 1960, followed by several short-lived events in Romania, Italy and Tokyo and finally in 1972 by the second oldest festival up to date, Animafest Zagreb. Animation theory evolved in the late 1980s in the Anglo-American area with associations like the Society for Animation Studies, following its 'big sister' film studies. Expanding ever since as a research area, European animation studies in e.g. France, German speaking countries, Poland or Croatia have been catching up in recent years by organizing theoretical conferences and publications. A vivid synergy between practice, festivals and theory has always been a key factor for establishing a platform for the art form and culture of animation. However, in the past few years a trend could be observed towards a more intense interaction between animation festivals and theory. Animation festivals are hosting theoretical and scientific symposia or conferences, which are open for artist positions and insights into the industry. At the beginning of the lecture a short reflection of the concept of Animafest Scanner itself is followed by an introduction of the Symposium Expanded Animation at the media festival Ars Electronica Linz. The talk will subsequently focus on the multilayered academic symposia at the Festival of Animated Film ITFS and the International Conference on Animation, Effects, VR, Games and Transmedia in Stuttgart. These case studies will reveal the blurring boundaries between art, science, theory and industry as well as the specificities of the interplay between artists, practitioners, scholars, curators and festival visitors in different formats.

Departments of family medicine at some general hospitals find it difficult to hold regular conferences because they have a small number of faculty members. The recent technological development of videoconferencing has made it possible for these small departments to regularly participate in the conferences held by departments with a larger number of faculty members. The objective of this study was to show the level of satisfaction with and acceptance of our videoconferencing system. One presenting site and four receiving sites participated in the videoconferences, which were held every Monday for three weeks. There were no significant differences in the levels of satisfaction with the videoconferences between faculty at the presenting site and faculty at the receiving sites. In contrast, residents at the receiving sites rated most items related to satisfaction with the videoconferences lower than residents at the presenting site. There were no changes between the pre-test and post-test scores of residents both at the presenting site and at the receiving sites. Despite its limitations, the advantages of joint-videoconferencing among several departments of family medicine were comfort level, time-saving, increasing the number of participants, promoting discussion, and provoking thought.

The purpose of this study is to examine the major academic activities of the Korean Gerontological Society (KGS) during the last 40 years in comparison to changes in elderly policies in Korea and also academic trends in gerontology worldwide and the academic activities of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG); based on this analysis, this study aims to propose future directions for the academic progress of the KGS. We examined the major academic activities of the KGS by analyzing the contents of biannual conferences, international conferences, and irregular seminars and policy meetings, using conference booklets, KGS websites, and literature on KGS history. Second, we analyzed the academic activities of the KGS in comparison to changes in elderly policies in Korea, using databases of major newspapers and also the BigKinds search offered by the Korea Press Foundation. Third, the academic activities of the KGS were reviewed in comparison to those of the IAGG and the major aging policy agendas of key international organizations. The study results demonstrate that the KGS has been proactive in conducting diverse multi-disciplinary and international academic activities while promptly responding to both domestic and international changes in elderly policies. But some issues were not properly addressed due to the lack of diversity in its members, and it also should be noted that some issues were not discussed in depth for a sufficient length of time. Henceforth, as the leading academic organization in gerontology with a multi-disciplinary orientation in Korea, the KGS should continue to lead the development and evaluation of aging policies and also actively carry out diverse academic activities in collaboration with international academic societies and organizations.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of academic journals and scholarly events published and operated by the four major academic societies in library and information science (Korean Library and Information Science Society, Korean Society for Library and Information Science, Korean Biblia Society for Library and Information Science, and Korea Society for Information Management). An online survey was carried out to know the members' perceptions of journals' quality, number, review process, publication/distribution, readership, practicality, interdisciplinarity, internationalization, and differentiation. In addition, the reasons for participation and non-participation in scholarly events, the degree of achievement of the purpose, differentiation between scholarly events, and ways to revitalize joint academic conferences were examined. A total of 197 members of the four societies completed the survey. The findings showed that the overall quality of the four journals was good, but they still needed to be improved in the review process, publication and distribution, readership, practicality, and internationalization. Strategies to specialize each journal needed to be considered as well. To revitalize scholarly events, large-scale joint academic conferences can be organized to encourage the participation of researchers and practitioners, considering both academic and social aspects of research and practice. This study mainly reported the results of the online survey. Also, it shed light on the suggestions to improve the academic journals and scholarly events in the field of library and information science based on the findings from the case studies of international academic journals and events as well as the group discussions and feedback from the participants at the joint conferenece held in December 2022.

Over last decade Multiple Target Tracking (MTT) has been the subject of numerous presentations and conferences [1979-1900]. Various approaches have been proposed to solve the problem. Representative works in the problem are Nearest Neighbor (NN) method based on non-probabilistic data association (DA), Multiple Hypothesis Test (MHT) and Joint Probabilistic Data Association (JPDA) as the probabilistic approaches. These techniques have their own advantages and limitations in computational requirements and in the tracking performances. In this paper, the three promising algorithms based on the NN standard filter, MHT and JPDA methods are presented and their performances against simulated multiple maneuvering targets are compared through numerical simulations.

Recently, conservation and utilization of cultural heritage has been regarded as importance. So, various research papers about maintenance of the remains have been presented in many conferences. But most of researches have focused on introduction about maintenance methods and explanation about maintenance concepts of remains. And even in case of a few papers treated post-evaluation about maintenance of the remains the criteria of the evaluation has tended to somewhat subjective. So, the purpose of this study is to show the objective post-evaluation indexes which was developed by Delphi AHP methods. This research was proceeded in two stages. First, we arranged the evaluation index in a hierarchy to be made through the analyses about references and researches about maintenance of remains. 304 evaluation articles were elicited through the process. And then, elicited evaluation articles were classified with 'conservation' and 'utilization'. Second step was to figure out importance and validity of hierarchical evaluation articles with twice questionnaire surveys. This research used interval scale to comprehend validity and AHP method to evaluate relative importance of each other articles.

Purpose: This study examines the effects of integrating Evidence Based Practice (EBP) into a critical care clinical practicum on nursing students' access and use of information resources and EBP competency. Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest design was used. Fifty senior nursing school students from a university participated. A critical care clinical practicum combined with EBP consisted of six full days of clinical practicum in intensive care units with EBP education. Group and individual training in EBP skills, lectures, small group discussion and conferences were provided. Data were analyzed using paired t tests for 50 participants. Results: The scores of evidence based practice competency increased significantly (p<.001) showing significant improvement in searching and classifying the evidence. Nursing students' access and use of research evidence improved (p=.004). Conclusion: This study showed that the integration of EBP into a clinical practicum was effective in improving accessibility and usefulness in research evidence such as guidelines and research articles, and increasing EBP competency in undergraduate students.
