Compared with the earlier technique of dual photon absorptiometry (DPA) using $^{153}Gd$ radionuclide source, dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) has advantages of higher precision, accuracy and shorter scanning time. Despite the change from DPA to DPX, the nuclear medicine physicians has remained one of major suplier of this service due to long-standing use of DPA. Among many kinds of bone densitometries, DXA is the "gold standard" for the noninvasive diagnosis of osteoporosis. Especially there is no role for peripheral devices in the monitoring of patients on therapy. But, there are some areas of controversy related to the application of DXA, such as proper site of measurement, accurate interpritation, appropriate use of T-score, and the reference population young database. And the accuracy, precision, and quality control issues relating to bone density measurement are important subjects. To address these issues, the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) has convened two Position Development Conferences and addressed official positions. This review deals the key elements of ISCD position paper and other important issues on the management of bone densitometry.

The compressive strength of concrete is determined by various influencing factors. However, the conventional method for estimating the compressive strength of concrete has been suggested by considering only 1 to 3 specific influential factors as variables. In this study, nine influential factors (W/B ratio, Water, Cement, Aggregate(Coarse, Fine), Fly ash, Blast furnace slag, Curing temperature, and humidity) of papers opened for 10 years were collected at 4 conferences in order to know the various correlations among data and the tendency of data. The selected mixture and compressive strength data were learned using the Deep Learning Algorithm to derive an estimated function model. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the number of hidden layers on the prediction performance in the process of estimating the compressive strength for an arbitrary combination.

Group communications are becoming popular in Internet applications such as video conferences, on-line chatting programs, games, and gambling. Secure and efficient group communication is needed for message integration, confidentiality, and system usability. However, the conventional group key agreement protocols are too much focused on minimizing the computational overhead by concentrating on generating the common group key efficiently for secure communication. As a result, the common group key is generated efficiently but a failure in authentication allows adversaries to obtain valuable information during the group communication. After achieving the secure group communication, the secure group communication should generate the group key efficiently and distribute it to group members securely, so the balance of security and system usage must be considered at the same time. Therefore, this research proposes the software architecture model of a secure and efficient group communication that will be imbedded into networking applications.

Environmental conferences in international society have held on Rio de Janeiro from UNCED in 1992 upward (United Nations Conference on Environment and Development) for countermeasure of environmental matters. Developed countries like United States, Japan, Canada and British are to take effect building performance certification criteria what is certification system of environment for promotion in aspects of eco-friendly buildings. Purposes of this study are research in standards and status of certification systems which are LEED in USGBC since 1993 in United States, GBCC of KGBC in state-run organization since 2002 and 'Environmental-friendly Building Guidelines' of Seoul to be recently driven. And then, offer proposals of promotion aims for revitalization in GBCC.

The method of vibration analysis used is the one developed by the senior author. He developed and reported, in 1974, a simple but exact method of calculating the natural frequency of beam and tower structures with irregular cross-sections and attached mass/masses. Since 1989, this method has been extended to two-dimensional problems with several types of given conditions and has been reported at several international conferences. This method uses the deflection influence surfaces. The finite difference method is used for this purpose, in this paper. In order to reduce the pivotal points required, the three simultaneous partial differential equations of equilibrium with three dependent variables, w, M$_{x}$, and $M_{y}$, are used instead of the one forth order partial differential equation. By neglecting the M$_{x}$ terms, the size of the matrices needed to solve the resulting linear equations are reduced to two thirds of the "non-modified" equations.tions.

In this study, the goals and the short and long term plan to attain the goals were set up through the analysis of non-government environmental protection organizations actual conditions which were grasped through interview and questionnaire. The goals and the plan were modified and elaborated through 3 times environment experts conferences and a public hearing. The goals were as follows: a) Laying down the guidelines on the organizations. b) Establishing a view of environment. c) Paying a public attention to importance of environment. d) Activations the practice in environmental protection movement. e) Harmonizing the relations between the organizations themselves. government and the organizations, industries and the organizations. f) Establishing the government support system to the organizations in leagal. administrative and financial aspects. g) Enhancing the potentialities on research and development in environmental protection technology. In the short and long term plan, the specific activities to be driven up to the year 2000 were presented by stages.

세계화 추세에 맞추어 우리나라에서 많은 국제회의 및 국제 운동경기가 개최되고 있다. 2001년 미국 911 테러 이후 이라크 파병 등으로 인해 우리나라도 테러로부터 안전지대가 아니라는 불안감의 목소리가 커지고 있는 상황이다. 생물테러와 폭탄테러 등이 세계 곳곳에서 발생하고 있어 우리나라도 소방공무원에 대한 화생방테러 교육훈련의 필요성이 대두되고 있어, 소방공무원을 위한 화생방 응급의료 교육훈련 교과목을 제언하고자 한다.

This is a retrospective, quantitative review of the English Teachers Association in Korea, namely the ETAK and its journals during the period of 18 years ever since the establishment in August 1994. It examines the history of the association, its domestic and international conferences, and most importantly, its articles. The purpose was to learn how it has emerged into a full-fledged organization, what the preferred language of the article has been, how the volume size has changed, and how many foreign scholars' articles have been contributed. It also looked into the number of authors each article was written by to examine the trend of cooperative work in the field of English education. Classification of the research topic was focused on the 4 skills of the language, grammar and vocabulary, literature, linguistics and all the rest areas were categorized into others. From the results of the study, suggestions for the future ETAK in the Korean English teaching were to be given.

On May 12th, 2007 a merchant vessel of Golden Rose (South Korea) sank into near 38 mile from Yentai in China after the vessel collided with a container vessel of Jinsung (China), leaving all 16 sailors, including seven South Koreans, missing. According to the official report. The Chinese vessel, authorities, and South Korean government did not coordination q rescue and salvage for the sailors and vessel properly as follows: 1) The Chinese vessel left the scene without rescue and salvage of the sailors, 2) Chinese authorities failed to comply with law of the sea that required them to report the collision to South Korea immediately after confirming the accident, and 3) The South Korean government is also being criticized for its slow response to the incident since the government did not set up a response team until 21 hours after the incident. In order to reduce this number of sailor missing in future incidents, this research is studied regarding assembling conferences, assigning SRR in ASEAN+3, simplicity to enter other territory waters and cooperative training and education for the SAR.

Since Universal Design emerged as a new design paradigm for future, the strategies of implementing UD in educational setting has been continuously pursued. Many university programs in North America especially explored the possibility and shared their experiences in the international conferences. In asia, however, no attempt was tried. This presentation will share the navigation teaching modules used in a undergraduate course “Interior Environment and Human Behavior” class, its methodology of experience and data analysis, and finally educational outcome. Since UD is a basic human oriented design, the modules surely provided affluent and realistic opportunity for students to feel emotional sympathy to understand a diverse range of users and to facilitate creative design solution for them.
