The aim of this study is to test the direct relationship and the indirect relationship of the perceived organizational support to lecturers' research motivation through "expectation" factor (belief in ability). The subject of the study is lecturers who are teaching and researching in the fields of economic, management and business administration at universities in Vietnam. The questionnaires were directly sent to lecturers at scientific conferences, sent out via e-mail and Facebook, the questionnaires were designed on google docs and directly sent to the lecturers. The detailed sample includes 475 respondents. The results of a quantitative analysis with a research sample of 475 lecturers in economics universities in Vietnam show that it is impossible to separate between lecturers' research ability and motivation. Lecturers with increased expectation (in terms of capability) also have increased research motivation, and vice versa. At the same time, the research also affirms the role of perceived organizational support, which not only has a direct positive impact on research motivation, but also increases expectation, thus, indirectly influence research motivation. This suggests that the solution for managers who want to improve research motivation by having measures to increase the expectation for the lecturers through various forms of organizational support.

실시간 화상교육은 원격지에서 강의자와 학습자의 면대면 교육을 대체하는 효과적인 수업 운영방식으로 활용되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 영상통화 및 화상회의 시스템을 활용하는 형태가 주를 이루고 있으며 이는 영상을 통한 강의에 치중하게 되어 어학교육에서 효과성을 보이고 있다. 그러나 그 외의 교육에서는 활용도가 미비한 실정이다. 최근 코로나로 인해 영상 중심의 화상 교육이 있으면서 화상 회의 시스템이 가지는 영상 중심 화상교육의 제한점을 개선하여 강의자와 학습 참여자 모두에게 수업 중 활용할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 수학교육에서 효과성을 향상시킬 수 있는 실시간 화상 시스템의 설계 모델을 제시한다.

The study aims to draw out implications regarding systematic reservoir management through analyzing the reservoir conservation activities and policies in Hyogo Prefecture which has the most agricultural reservoirs in Japan and similar agricultural form to that of Korea. The results are as follows. First, it turns out that consistency in policies and persistent drive are key to success. Since the late 1990s, the Hyogo Prefectural government has expanded the reservoir conservation policies, consistently trying to ellicit the multifunctionality of reservoir, and also has shown persistent drive toward the conservation policies through systematic process. Second, it is clear that the Prefectural government has shown a great degree of activeness. It established ordinances before acts were legislated by the central government. In addition, the Hyogo Prefectural government ran a supportive organization with its own funds. Third, the establishment of systematic enforcement system played a critical role. The efficiency in the policy enforcement derived from the dual conferences, Prefectural-level conference dealing with the related policies throughout the Prefecture, and local-level conference discussing policies based on regional characteristics.

The research in the literature review on Internet of Things (IoT) adoption from an individual consumer viewpoint is minimal and has not yet been fully investigated. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to analyze the growth of IoT in recent years and to conduct a weight analysis of the factors that affect acceptance intentions and real usage of IoT-enabled services. For the review, we analyzed 87 publications from 13 conferences and 54 journals published during the period 2014-2020 about consumer adoption of IoT. Following the study, we discovered an unprecedented increase in the number of articles published in the last seven years, which points to an emerging area with an enormous prospect. Furthermore, the weight analysis outcome was associated with the diagrammatic representation in this study. After that, this research developed a generalized consumer IoT adoption model based on the 12 best predictors derived from frequency count and weight analysis, which had the highest predictive power for calculating IoT adoption. This paper further acknowledges the study's theoretical and practical contributions, as well as its shortcomings, and proposes further research directions for future researchers.

Purpose - This study presents strategies to overcome the COVID-19-induced crisis in Korea's meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry. It aims to quantitatively identify the environmental factors affecting the industry and their degree of influence, and derive optimal countermeasures. Design/methodology - The study applied the SWOT-AHP-TOWS framework. An AHP analysis was first performed within the SWOT frame, and then a TOWS analysis was conducted using the results of the SWOT-AHP analysis. In the AHP analysis, the number of pairwise comparison questions was limited to four for each SWOT factor to increase the consistency of responses by reducing the burden on respondents. Findings - The plunge in demand (threats factor) has had an overwhelming impact on the MICE industry, more than any other environmental factor. To overcome the crisis, the ST alternative that takes advantage of dynamic pop culture to minimize the business damage caused by the plunge in demand was the top priority measure. Based on the results, this study presents suggestions for overcoming the crisis in the MICE industry. First, the industry should develop profitable business models to supplement scarce financial resources by exploiting Korea's success with quarantine management. Second, the government must provide emergency relief funds or bailout support to protect MICE facilities and employees. Originality/value - Unlike previous work on the MICE industry, this study utilized the SWOT-AHPTOWS framework to derive quick research results in an abnormal situation. This approach can be expanded to other countries with different industrial environments and situations. Additionally, when applying this method to MICE sub-sectors, countermeasures should be tailored to each field.

The design phase has a great influence on the success of subsequent phases in the project which can be connected with the success of the overall project. Several studies have focused on the effective design management. However, it is too complicated and difficult to manage the design process for the reason that it has a lot of participants and design information and consists of thousands of decisions by an architect alone. Accordingly, it is the main issue for the success of the project how well the design phase be organized and managed. In recent, even in domestic, the importance of design phase has begun to be referred in the conferences. Lean Construction also has a close look at those issues and makes ready to apply specific management methods, called to Lean Design & Construction. Managers can consider a variety of uncertainties to be under control through making the overall process effectively from the early stage. By establishing the efficient process from the design phase before the construction phase, managers can result in a desirable productivity. The aim of this study is to bring the concept (Lean Design & Construction) in domestic design circumstances and verifies the possibility how to apply the concept to the design phase.

Various lean design and construction methods such as target value design, pull planning, value stream mapping have successfully transformed the commercial building construction industry into achieving improved productivity, higher design and construction quality, and meeting the target values of construction projects. Considering the significant advantages of lean, the accelerated dissemination and adoption of lean methods and tools for construction is highly desirable. Currently, the lean design and construction body of knowledge is imparted primarily through publications and conferences. However, one of the most effective ways to impart this soft knowledge is through getting students and trainees involved in hands-on participatory games, which can quickly help them truly understand the concept and apply it to real-world problems. The COVID-19 Pandemic has raised an urgent need of developing virtual games that can be played simultaneously from various locations over the Internet, but these virtual games should be as effective as in-person games. This research develops an online 3D simulation game for Target Value Design that is as effective as in-person games or possibly better in terms of knowledge capture and retention and enjoyable environment and experience. The virtual game is tested on volunteers using feedback from pre-and post- simulation surveys to evaluate its efficacy.

최근, 대면 회의를 대체할 수 있는 수단으로 원격지 간 화상 회의 시스템의 활용도가 높아졌다. 기존 화상회의 시스템은 원격지 사용자의 시선 불일치로 인해 몰입감 있는 화상회의 환경을 제공하기에는 한계를 가지고 있다. 따라서, 서로 다른 원격지 간 참여자의 시선 정보를 일치하여 화상 회의의 몰입도를 높일 수 있는 기술 적용이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 원격지 간 화상회의 참여자의 시선을 일치하기 위해 로컬에 설치된 멀티 마이크로폰 기반으로 화자의 위치를 추정하여 시선이 일치된 화상회의 영상을 구현하는 기술을 제안한다. 본 연구논문의 방법을 이용하면 원격지 간 화상회의 뿐 아니라 로봇 상호작용, 가상 휴먼 인터페이스 등 다양한 분야에 확대 적용될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

Purpose: Online meeting is chosen instead of face-to-face conferences as a solution that ensures both effectiveness and legality during times of strong epidemic outbreaks. In the current period, managers can have different types of meeting options for information distribution. This study has examined the effect of past behavior on the managers' intention of organizing online meetings. Research design, data and methodology: Data were collected from a survey with 475 managers and put into SmartPLS 4.0 for analysis. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was employed to test relationships in the research model. Results: The findings indicated that past behavior plays the most critical role in explaining the organizing online meeting intention of managers, followed by attitude and subjective norms. Meanwhile, the perceived behavioral control factor has absolutely no effect on intention in the context of this study. Notably, attitude and subjective norms also remarkably mediated the impact of past behavior on managers' intention. Conclusions: This study has added to the understanding of the meeting organization behavior of managers. Even if the epidemic is under control, the administrators should still organize some meetings in the form of online because it will affect the social perceptions of future behavior and behavioral intention.
