IGES와 SRL format 사이의 3차원 정보교고한에 관한 연구 (A study on 3D data exchange between IGES and STL format)

  • This paper deals with effective using the IGES file for flexible data exchange among the other CAD/CAM system. If a data exchange between STL file and the neutral IGES file in Stereolithography system is available, a product design becomes more flexible. THere can be many restrictions and difficulties intranslating these data. First, an STL file follows two rules, such as right-hand rule, and vertex-to-vertex rule, thus requires a structural verification. Second, translation should be performed with minmal errors. It becomes very important to translate IGES file of limited kinds of entities fot the purpose of geometric information into STL file with minor data manipulation. The developed system suggests a good approach of translating the sampled B-spline surface of IGES and shows a potential linkage between IGES and STL format file.

  • The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the basic upper-limb involved in products manipulation. Upper-limb muscular deformations and electromyography (EMG) measurements are used as indexes for estimated motion: hand opening and closing, wrist extending and flexing, pronation and supination, grasping conditions. Measured values are analyzed by multivariate analysis and a regression equation is obtained for estimating the characteristics of upper-limb performance. Muscular deformation is defined as a change in shape, such as a pressure changes when the hand or wrist moves. hand opening and closing can be discriminated at a higher percentage of accuracy by muscular deformation data than by EMG data. Muscular deformation measurements using air-pack pressure sensors were verified to be effective in motion estimation applications.

  • 최근 그래픽 하드웨어의 성능향상과 인터넷의 발전으로 이를 기반으로 하는 인터렉티브 3D 그래픽스와 데스크탑 가상환경 분야에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 데스크탑 가상환경에서 객체의 조작과 관련된 3D 사용자 인터페이스에 대한 성공적인 연구사례는 찾아보기 힘들다. 그 이유는 하드웨어적인 제약과 더불어 3D 공간상의 객체를 2D상에서 조작함으로써 발생하는 인지적인 문제해결이 어렵기 때문이다. 이의 해결을 위해 본 논문에서는 객체를 구성하는 장면 그래프를 내부적으로 분할하여 생성된 서브트리의 순회를 통해 객체의 세부 단위요소를 쉽게 선택하고 해제하는 일련의 객체조작 기법을 제안한다. 또한 각 조작단계에서 사용자의 의사결정을 돕는 다양한 시각 피드백 기능을 함께 지원한다. 제안된 기법은 정교한 객체의 조작을 필요로 하는 분야의 3D 사용자 인터페이스 구축에 매우 효과적으로 적용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • An ergonomic evaluation model which can properly evaluate the design of a product or workplaces was developed to evaluate a new product in the early stage of design. Although several evaluation models have been developed and are in use in the field of ergonomics, they lack an integrated framework and analysis techniques. In this research, an ergonomic evaluation model was developed according to the framework which accommodates desirable components of the model. The framework represents the integration of four components: man model, workplace modeller, ergonomic evaluation functions and knowledge bases, which interact with a common object-oriented database. Components were developed individually and integrated with the workplace modeller. The generation and manipulation of man models, workplace modelling, and ergonomic evaluation features such as reach and visibility were implemented. The developed evaluation model has demonstrated distinct advantages of the flexibility to adapt another features for the ergonomic evaluation model and the better usability for users.

  • Cardiac arrhythmias are associated with electrical Instability and, hence, with abnormal mechanical activity of the heart in many cases, arrhythmias can be treated with drugs or electric shock to control and/or stop them. Hence fast arrhythmia detection is very important. In this paper RR interval, QRS width, and morphology are used for diagnosis and QRS complex is detected by hardware system. hence diagnosing time is shorten. Moreover doctors or nurses who have little knowledge of computer manipulation can get the Information of Patient's ECG by showing characteristics of abnormal waveform and by mapping graphs of RR interval .vs. QRS width and RR interval .vs. morphology on screen.

  • The stress induced leakage currents of thin silicon oxides is investigated in the VLSI implementation of a self learning neural network integrated circuits using a linearity synapse transistor. The channel current for the thickness dependence of stress current, transient current, and stress induced leakage currents has been measured in oxides with thicknesses between 41 ${\AA}$, 86${\AA}$, which have the channel width ${\times}$ length 10 ${\times}$1${\mu}$m, 10 ${\times}$0.3${\mu}$m respectively. The stress induced leakage currents will affect data retention in synapse transistors and the stress current, transient current is used to estimate to fundamental limitations on oxide thicknesses. The synapse transistor made by thin silicon oxides has represented the neural states and the manipulation which gaves unipolar weights. The weight value of synapse transistor was caused by the bias conditions. Excitatory state and inhitory state according to weighted values affected the channel current. The stress induced leakage currents affected excitatory state and inhitory state.

  • 본 논문에서는 범용 공학 소프트웨어인 셈툴과 연계한 FEM 패키지의 3D Visualization 및 Operation에 대해 기술 한다. FEM 해석을 위한 Graphical Interface로서 각종 오브젝트의 생성, 로드와 더불어 해당 오브젝트를 3D Visualization하여 각종 Manipulation을 하는 기법에 대해 서술하도록 한다. 특히, 해석에 필요한 경계 조건이나 하중을 부여하기 위해 노드를 Picking 하는 기법과, 해석 후 객체의 내부 하중 상태 등에 대한 컨투어링을 위해 객체를 분할하는 Cut Section 등에 대해서도 다루도록 한다.

  • The Controller Area Network (CAN) is being widely used for real-time control application and small-scale distributed computer controller systems. When the stuff bits are generated by bit-stuffing mechanism in the CAN network, it causes jitter including variations in response time and delay. In order to eliminate this jitter, stuff bit must be controlled to minimize the response time and reduce the variation of data transmission time. At first, this paper shows that conventional CAN protocol causes the transmission time delay. Secondly, this paper proposes the method to reduce the stuff bits by restriction of available identifier. Finally, data manipulation method can be reduced the number of stuff-bits in the data field. The proposed restriction method of ID and manipulating data field are pretty useful to the real-time control strategy with respect to performance. These procedures are implemented in local controllers of the ISHURO (Inha Semyung Humanoid Robot).

  • We proposes integrated information system, Service Robot Information System(SRIS), for mobile robot. The system has objectives that can heir efficient management and sharing as support information for mobile service robot like recognition, navigation, manipulation and modeling. This paper introduces the concert and architecture of SRIS. An Implementation is done by using ER based database and CAD modeling which is DXF format. The experimental shows the result of object and environment map matching by SLAM. This system is expected that can help reduce the cost and efforts of information management under multiple mobile robot environment.

단어재인 초기단계에서의 언어학적 변인의 역할 (Early Locus of a Linguistic Variable in Word Recognition)

  • The syllable and the morpheme are known to be important linguistic variables. This study examined whether these variables were activated in an early stage of word recognition using the fast priming task. Mixing the lettercase for the prime, the results of experiment 1 and 2 revealed effects of the syllable and the morpheme at a short SOA (Stimulus Onset Asynchrony), but not at a long SOA. Using the same manipulation in the experiment 3 and 4, an effect of syllable was found to be significant at the short SOA, but not at the long SOA. The study showed that the syllable plays a role in an early stage of word recognition.
