  • As architectures have recently become high-risers and mega-structured, stable high strength products have been ensured. Accordingly, use of precast concrete accouplement has been increased in order to facilitate air compression and rationalize construction. Since not only external heating but a1so internal temperature rise caused by the accumulation of cement hydration heat in manufacturing process, precast concrete members with large cross-section used for high-rise mega-structure's columns and beams may exhibit different temperature history compared to the precast concrete members for wall and sub-floor with relatively small cross-sections. Therefore, this study aims to elucidate the characteristics of temperature history of mass concrete members cast with high-strength concrete fur precast concrete application. In this study, large cross-sectional precast concrete mock-up, unit cement quantity, and temperature histories in manufacturing precast concrete member under different curing condition were inclusively investigated.

  • To study of binder and fine aggregate a lot of replacement fly-ash concrete, initial characteristics, standard environment of curing temperature $20^{\circ}C$, hot-weather environment, cold weather environment of curing temperature $5^{\circ}C$. Flash concrete tested slump, air contest, setting and Hardening concrete valuated setting period of form, day of age 3, 7, 28 compression strength in sealing curing. Underwater curing specimen compression strength of age 3. 7, 28day used strength change accordingly fly-ash concrete curing temperature. Purpose of study is consultation materials in field that variety of fly-ash replacement concrete mix proportion comparison and valuation. (1) Setting test result, fly-ash ratio of replacement higher delay totting time. Same volume of fly-ash ratio of replacement is lower fly-ash ratio of replacement fine aggregate delay setting time. Setting test in curing temperature $35^{\circ}C$ over twice fast setting in curing temperature $20^{\circ}C$ and all specimen setting delay in curing temperature $5^{\circ}C$. F40 specimen end of setting about 30 time. (2) Experiment result age 28day compression strength more fisher plan concrete then standard environment in curing temperature $20^{\circ}C$, cold weather environment in curing temperature $5^{\circ}C$, most strength F43 is hot-weather environment in curing temperature $35^{\circ}C$ replacement binder 25%, fine aggregate 15%. (3) Hot-weather environment replacement a mount of fly-ash is a same of plan concrete setting period of form. Age 28day compression strength replacement a mount of fly-ash more hot-weather concrete then plan concrete.

  • This research carries out experiments for hydration exothermic rate and adiabatic temperature rise of concrete to examine the characteristics of the hydration heat of high flowing self-compacting concrete with a normal strength. As a result of the hydration exothermic rate experiment, the high flowing self-compacting concrete that used Lime stone powder and fly ash as polymers shows that its hydration heat amount reduces due to the reduction of unit cement. The result measured the adiabatic temperature rise of concrete presents that high flowing self-compacting concrete having lots of binder contents has a good performance in temperature reduction due to the effect of polymer and that triple adding high flowing self-compacting concrete has a similar temperature rise speed with conventional concrete. As a result of the research, high flowing self-compacting concrete shows a better temperature reduction performance for the binder content per unit than conventional concrete. In addition, it is judged that triple adding high flowing self-compacting concrete with a specified concrete strength 30 MPa is more beneficial in temperature reduction and early hydration heat than double adding high flowing self-compacting concrete.

  • The property of concrete at different places in mass concrete is affected by the age under the same curing temperature. For more accurate analysis of thermal stress in mass cocnrete, it is necessary to obtain the property of concrete with age and curing temperature. In this study, the effects of curing temperature and age (Maturity) on the development of the property of concrete were investigated by using concrete specimens made with type I cement. The curing temperatures are 23$^{\circ}C$, 5$0^{\circ}C$, and 8$0^{\circ}C$, respectively. As the maturity increases, the strength of concrete was increased. The results obtained experimentlly was compapred with the previous models, and good agreements was obtained.

  • Recently, serious cracking problems have been reported in this country while the process of actual massive concrete construction. he hydration heat arising from the chemical reaction of cement with water causes temperature differentials in between inside and outside of a structural member, and these temperature differentials induce thermal stresses. In this paper, we described on the practical application and quality control of the mass concrete mixed with fly-ash. This project is investigating adiabatic temperature rise test of concrete, mock-up test in the laboratory, ad B/P before placing the mass concrete in site. As a result, we can be prevent temperature cracking from the cement hydration heat of mass concrete and also can be showed up secure quality control flow chart of mass concrete.

  • The crack of concrete induced by a temperature rise in early age concrete due to the heat of ration of cement is a serious problem for massive or high strength concrete structures. However, re is still no reasonable equations for the prediction of the temperature rising. On this study, the prediction equations of the heat of hydration of different types of binder are pained from the adiabatic temperature rise test, and compared with the results from different nations to obtain the best approximated equation. The strengths of concrete of which specimens were placed in the same chamber for the adiabatic to were compared with those under standard curing.

  • This paper discusses the validity of models predicting the compressive strength of concrete subjected to various temperature histories and the shortcomings of existing rate constant model and apparent activation energy concept. Based on the discussion, a modified rate constant model is proposed. The modified rate constant model, in which apparent activation energy is a nonlinear function of curing temperature and age, accurately estimates the development of the experimental compressive strengths by a few researchers. Also, the apparent activation energy of concrete cured with high temperature decreases rapidly with age, but that of concrete cured with low temperature decreases gradually with age. Finally generalized models to predict apparent activation energy and compressive strength are proposed, which are based on the regression results.

  • Surplus water inside a concrete other than moisture that is used for hydration of the cement affects the physical properties of the concrete (modulus of elasticity, compressive strength, drying shrinkage, and creep) by drying. Changes in temperature and humidity inside a concrete has correlation with the movement speed and reaction rate of deterioration factors such as carbon dioxide and chloride ions. In this study, comparison was performed between temperature and relative humidity inside the concrete and meteorological data for exposure environment through measurement at the site for two years. Surface temperature of the concrete (depth 1cm) was measured higher by 6℃ during the summers, while it was measured lower by 2℃ during the winters due to solar radiation, wind, and radiation cooling. As for relative humidity, change was large in the depth of 1cm, while more than 85% was maintained in the depth of 10cm.

  • Concrete has been recognized as a material which is resistant to high temperatures, but chemicophysical property of concrete is changed by the high temperature. So, mechanical properties of concrete may be reduced. So, concrete at high temperature is evaluated mechanical properties for safety inspection. However, research of ultrasonic method is not much. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to NDT(non-destructive test) of 30, 70, 110MPa concrete exposed high temperature using ultrasonic pulse velocity.
