The purpose of this study is, to empirically analyze the effect of extension of Quality concept and Quality Management on business performance, and to propose their necessities. And, to offer base manure enforcing our business international competitive power by inducing them to extend the Concept of Quality and to adopt Quality Management. By analyses of the questionnaires, the following consequences are confirmed. First, the company which have the more extended quality concept, is more developed and closer to QM stage(i. e. the most developed stage of Quality Management). Second, the more extended quality concept the company has and the more advanced the company is in the Quality Management, the more positive influence can be made on the improvement of the business performance. Third, the added value per employee is attributed to the extension of quality concept rather than the development stages of Quality Management.

This paper presents a response spectrum analysis procedure suitable for base isolated regular buildings subjected to near fault ground motions. This procedure is based on the fact that the isolation system may be treated separately since the superstructure behaves as a rigid body on well selected isolation systems. The base isolated building is decomposed into several single-degree of freedom systems, the first one having the total weight of the building is isolated while the remainder when superposed they replicate approximately the behavior of the superstructure. The response of the isolation system is governed by a response spectrum generated for a single isolated mass. The concept of the procedure and its application for the analysis of base isolated structures is illustrated with an example. The present analysis procedure is shown to be accurate enough for the preliminary design and overcomes the limits of applicability of the conventional linear response spectrum analysis.

In this study, the analytical method to evaluate the response of rotor-bearing system subjected to base excitation was presented. The equations of motion contain speed dependent gyroscopic terms, base rotation dependent parametric terms and several forcing function terms which depend on linear accelerations, rotational accelerations and a combination of linear and rotational combination. The study of rotor-bearing system excited by its base motion is not only able to predict the rotational performance, but provides the fundamental data for vibration isolation. In order to illustrate transient response, transient response analysis of a practical application sample were performed. The transient response was carried out for the given base excitation by using the state-space Newmark method that incorporates the average velocity concept.

The purpose of this study is to analyze outcome of the project to improve old water supply facilities in Airforce Base to improve water revenue rate. To achieve the objective of this study, First, literature review is conducted to clearly define the concept of water revenue rate improve project. Second, WASCO project on 2 Airforce base review and smart water management pilot project on 1 Airforce base is conducted. Third, economical analysis of project is conducted to examine the outcome. As a result, WASCO and smart water management pilot project on Airforce base was effective to improve water revenue rate. Finally, the improvements were suggested after investigating the key factors on water revenue rate improve project. In the future, this study will be used as a baseline for developing water revenue rate improve project.

The development of a practical technology intelligence system requires a knowledge base that structures the core information and its relationship distilled from large volumes of technical data. Previous studies have mainly focused on the methodological approaches for technology opportunities, while little attention has been paid to constructing a practical knowledge base. Therefore, this study proposes a procedure to construct a function-based knowledge base for technology intelligence. We define the product-function-technology relationship and subsequently present the detailed steps for the knowledge base construction. The knowledge base, which is constructed analyzing 1110582 patents between 2009 and 2013 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office database, contains the functional knowledge of products and technologies and the relationship between products and technologies. This study is the first attempt to develop a large-scale knowledge base using the concept of function and has the ability to serve as a basis not only for furthering technology opportunity analysis methods but also for developing practical technology intelligence systems.

본 연구에서는 인간 전문가에 의해 용어간의 관계가 명확하게 정의된 전통적인 시소러스를 활용함으로써 기념개반 정보검색의 성능을 향상시키고자 하였다. 이를 위해 시소러스를 활용하여 관계값기반, 관계기반, 그리고 통합형 지식베이스를 구축하였다. 관계값기반 지식베이스와 통합형 지식베이스에는 순차적 bnb 알고리즘을 적용하고 관계기반 지식베이스에는 경험적 bnb 알고리즘을 적용하여 지식베이스간 검색성능을 비교분석하였다.

This paper develops a disaggregate model system for travel behavior of workers in a metropolitan area. We attempt to develop a set of models for predicting trip generation type, trip purpose, destination, mode choices in each trip on the way from work to home by using the concept of utility maximization of base-to-base tour. The model incorporates the concept that decisions of a trip in a trip in a travel tour depend on decisions of the trips having been made before and decisions of trip planned after of this trip, as well as on current trip conditions. As the structure of the model, the nested logit model is used to avoid a simultaneous model's complexity. The data to be used for estimating the model system are from the person trip survey which was carried out in 1981 in Nagoya metropolitan. Empirical tests of the model for Nagoya metropolitan area show encouraging results and prove the validity of the assumption of this model.

Community building has been carried out from around the year 2000 by various statutes and government policies in Korea. This study suggested direction of the future for rural community building as surveyed cases of completed four villages in Gurye-county. In order to achieve this study's objectives, investigated previous studies and interviewed 75 person's residents in cases villagers. The target villages are Sangsa, Omi, Chamsaimigol and Artists village. As survey results, four villages utilized local resources, most of villages were focused perform hardware. On the other hand, Chamsaimigol was parallel software. In addition, communities didn't form and not agree with concept of community building as culture, education, welfare, etc., also didn't creation the case of village income. but active village as base development. Therefor, proposed the point to education, culture and welfare, base development and generating of income as directions for future rural community building. These directions are consistent with the concept of community building and the goal that improve the quality of life of residents ultimately through community building.

고무받침등을 이용한 기초분리공법은 상부구조물의 고유주기를 기초분리가 되지 않은 구조물보다 길게 하여줌으로써 지진에 의해서 발생하는 밑면 전단력을 감소시키는 원리를 이용하고 있다. 이 원리는 지진지역에 있는 일반 건물구조물에 세계각국에서 성공적으로 사용되고 있으며, 특히 교량구조물에도 그 역할이 입증되어 미국, 일본 등을 중심으로 적용이 급증하고 있다. 본 논문은 동일한 원리를 우리나라에서 건설되고 있는 원전구조물에 적용하여 기초분리된 원전 격납구조물의 거동을 고찰하고자 한다. 이와 같은 거동해석을 실시하는데 있어서, 시간영역 해석은 많은 시간과 경비를 요하게 되어 현실적으로 사용하기에 여러 어려움이 존재하게 되는데 반해, 주파수영역 해석은 이러한 단점을 극복하게 되어 실용적이며 효과적인 결과를 제공하게 된다. 즉, 입력 지진파에 의한 기초분리 원전 격납구조물의 거동을 예측함에 있어서 시스템 복소주파 응답함수 및 지진파의 파워스펙트럼 계산을 통하여 보다 합리적인 접근이 가능함을 보이고자 한다.

Conceptual teaming has been one of the important issue in science education, and its theory and method has been interacted with the studies of philosophy of science, cognitive science, and cognitive psychology. The last two decades have witnessed a remarkable growth of the study on brain-style computation, i.e. connectionism. This study aimed to investigate the properties of the connectionist views of the concept and its implications in the conceptual learning of science. In connectionist views, a concept was represented as a pattern of activity distributed over many connected units, and a kind of network composed of many sub-concept units. And the ＇distributed representation＇ had the features of the constructivity, the automatically generalization, and the tunability. On the base of these views, it was suggested that (ⅰ) ＇Typically-Perceived-Situation＇, a kind of mental representation rising spontaneously in an individual mind when someone is thinking about any object, should be highlighted, and (ⅱ) the roles of the sub-concept units in formation of concept and the resolution of concept into the sub-concept units should be highlighted. Finally the meanings of these implications in conceptual teaming of science are discussed.
