Substantive provisions of the concept of an estimation and safety of complex technical systems are envisaged. New problems are assume orientation to use of the formalized methods of an estimation of residual resources of reliability of objects, and also development of other methodological base in creation of complex technical systems that is connected with detailed elaboration of attention to a safety at all stages of creation of systems: from designing until operation. In this connection existing large objects should be provided by the developed systems of engineering monitoring and diagnostics.

Image which appears in fashion illustration on the late twentieth century is not the representative image as an equivalence to the real fashion styles but the virtual image which bears no relation to any reality. The purpose of this study is review the concept of virtuality and analyze in which way virtual image is expressed in fashion illustrations on the background of Jean Baudrillard's simulacre theory. In post-modem paintings the expression methods of image-virtualization were image mixing through photo-image appropriation, image overlapping, and the icons inserted unreasonably, the focus-out effect through scrubbing and the over-painting on the photograph. Image-virtualization in fashion illustration was expressed through image mixing and expression of image uncertainty. Image mixing was made by photo-image appropriation, image overlapping, connection of heterogeneous images and using interface image, and uncertain image was expressed through the expression of visual ambiguity and virtual movement.

온라인 커뮤니티는 개인과 개인 사이의 관계를 가지고 있는 사랑들 간에 존재하는 연결선으로 볼 수 있다. 온라인 커뮤니티에 대한 관심이 날로 커지면서 전 세계적으로 온라인 커뮤니티를 기반으로 하는 웹 사이트들이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 커뮤니티의 개념을 체계적으로 정립하고, 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트의 특성요인을 파악하여 커뮤니티에 대한 몰입과 사이트에 대한 만족도가 지속적인 사용의도에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다.

In order to keep global competitiveness, most of small and medium size manufacturing companies require to equip a product information management system which collects and analyzes the data generated at the manufacturing lines and then provides information for manager or worker to make a decision. However, these companies have a cost problem for adopting the enterprise resource planning system mostly used in large companies. To overcome this problem, we suggest an IOCP-based server for the product information management system suitable for small and medium size manufacturing companies. The basic concept of suggested server is that it is possible to process concurrently the connection requests coming from data collector and client by using the facility of asynchronous notification of OS and protect a server against overload by using the thread pool.

State estimation in power system is to estimate state variable value which minimizes the error from the real state measured by the gauge and connection state of the circuit breaker. In the past, it was difficult to determine measure function considering the correlation of the measured values. In this paper, an extended state estimation is proposed to process easily various kinds of estimation variable. The proposed algorithm is developed by expanding state variable concept based on many measured values and treating correlation between estimation variable and state variable, it is considered that the state variable satisfy some limitations named "Equality Limitation conditions".

This article presents safety review experience of microprocessor-based Interposing Logic System(ILS) of Engineering Safety Feature Actuation System(ESFAS). The ILS is the first application of computerized logic design to safety system in Korean nuclear power plants without verification of the system reliability by proven technology concept. As a result of evaluation for the ILS, Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety(KINS) concluded that the microprocessor-based ILS is not acceptable in some features detailed enough to defend against software common mode failures(CMF). Therefore, we required licensee to install hardwired interlock signal configuration and a Hardwired Backup Panel to control safety-related equipment. We believe that the microprocessor-based ILS with the hardwired backup panel and inter-connection of interlock signal by hardwired configuration will improve the plant safety.

This study presents the concept and the effects of the lifting two supports method that makes get economical design sections and efficient stress condition. The analysis of relation between critical sections and ratios Is done. Also, connection between critical sections and design variable is analyzed. In order to resolve the effects of the lifting two supports method, sections which was designed with the existing method, lifting support method, are used. Finally, it is proved that the new method is more efficient than the existing methods in economy and structure.

This study focused on the developing a system of computer adaptive diagnosis and instruction(CADI). This system is a conceptual model that connected learning with assesment by using new media such as computers, multimedia, and new technologies. In this conceptual model, adaptive diagnosis means tailored or customized diagnostic evaluation, and adaptive instruction implies tailored or customized instruction. The connection between learning and assesment suggests that they are closely related to determine following learning contents and learning methods. CADI's expected effect are 1) it can contribute to real learning of core concept, 2) it can enlarge the educational opportunities, 3) it can help students study by student himself and learn media literacy, 4) information for evaluation functions more essential roles, 5) it is possible to work cooperatively with any other school subject.

This paper presents a speaker recognition system intended for use in human-robot interaction. The proposed speaker recognition system can achieve significantly high performance in the Ubiquitous Robot Companion (URC) environment. The URC concept is a scenario in which a robot is connected to a server through a broadband connection allowing functions to be performed on the server side, thereby minimizing the stand-alone function significantly and reducing the robot client cost. Instead of giving a robot (client) on-board cognitive capabilities, the sensing and processing work are outsourced to a central computer (server) connected to the high-speed Internet, with only the moving capability provided by the robot. Our aim is to enhance human-robot interaction by increasing the performance of speaker recognition with multiple microphones on the robot side in adverse distant-talking environments. Our speaker recognizer provides the URC project with a basic interface for human-robot interaction.

Logistic Support Analysis(LSA) and Logistic Supportability Review must be carried out as soon as possible in development stage in order to minimize operation/maintenance cost that head the list of weapon cost and improve logistic supportability of the weapon system. And the result must be used for hardware designs to set up to be able to input to the system design and logistic support elements. Therefore Logistic Support Elements must be planed/developed/supplied with the main combat system concurrently and performance and logistic supportability of the comabat system had better be improved mutually. This report describes maintenance concept changes of weapon systems, fault diagnosis function and test equipment state on the domestic MBT(main battle tank). And then it presents application and intensification of itself fault diagnosis system for a domestic future MBT considering connection with IETM(Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) and TE(Test Equipment).
