Streaming data is a sequence of data samples that are consistently generated over time. The data distribution or concept can change over time, and this change becomes a factor to reduce the performance of a classification model. Adaptive incremental learning can maintain the classification performance by updating the current classification model with the weight adjusted according to the degree of concept drift. However, selecting the proper weight value depending on the degree of concept drift is difficult. In this paper, we propose a dynamic ensemble method based on adaptive weight adjustment according to the degree of concept drift. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method shows higher performance than the other compared methods.

A recognizable form having meaning is called a sign in semiotics. The sign is transformed into a physical counter form in this work. Its internal structure is restricted on the linguistic concept structure. We borrow the concept of a mathematical function from the utility function of a rational personal in the economy. Universalizing the utility function by introducing the consistency of independency on the manner of construction, we construct the probability. We introduce a random variable for the probability and join it to a position variable. Thus, we propose a physical sign and its serial changes in the forms of stochastic equations. The equations estimate three patterns (jumping, drifting, diffusing) of possible solutions, and we find them in the one-day stock-price flow. The periods of jumping, drifting and diffusing were about 2, 3.5, and 6 minutes for the Kia stock on 11/05/2014. Also, the semiotic sign (icon, index, symbol) can be expected from the equations.

스트림 데이터를 분류하는 문제는 데이터 스트림 마이닝 분야에서 가장 넓게 연구되고 있는 항목이다. 실세계에서의 데이터 스트림을 분류하는데 있어서 본질적인 문제점들이 있다 : 1)많은 양의 데이터가 불규칙적으로 빠르게 입력되는 것과, 2)유동적 컨셉트로 알려진, 데이터의 분류가 시간에 따라서 유동적으로 변하는 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해서 적응적 OLIN시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 지역적인 유동적 컨셉트뿐만 아니라 전역적인 유동적 컨셉트 문제까지 고려하여, 기존의 시스템보다 향상된 성능을 보였다.

Jacques Derrida, a leading theorist of the post-structuralism, has explicated how the material reality is subordinated to the ideality of form, by noticing the platonic concept, 'chora', which implicates the spatiality as the matrix and also by actualizing its essential meaning as the femininity. On the basis of the idea of the platonic 'chora', the Derridian deconstructive spatiality and its feminist oriented enlargement of Grosz this study is purposed to elucidate the architectural idea of Zaha Hadid that is located in the similar horizon with the deconstructionism. On the one hand it is focused on the explication of the new concept of space, which is dealt with the deconstruction of the traditional concept of space, on the other on the inference of the feminity of the originally understood spatiality. With this inference it is finally intended to reexamine the foundation of the discussion for the architectural space that must be ahead of the discussion for the difference between the masculine and the feminine space. If it is fundamentally and manifoldly executed, not only the architectural paradigm will enter into an renewed phase, but also the various ways toward the new direction of the architecture be explored.

In an online-game, the various game service victimized cases are generated by the bots program or auto program. Particularly, the abnormal collection of the game money and item loses the inherent fun of a game. It reaches ultimately the definite bad effect to the game life cycle. This paper collects and analyzes the pattern of game behavior change for the bots detection method. By using the game activity changing information of the human and game activity changing information of the bots, the degree of resemblance was measured. It utilized in the bots detection method. In an experiment, by using the served online-game, the model of a user and bots were generated and similarity was distinguished. And the reasonable result was confirmed.

In response to drastic environmental changes, companies have been continuously rebalancing their resources and capabilities to sustain their competitive status or to survive difficult times. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of sudden environmental changes on the competitive status of a firm and to identify the internal factors that differentiate sustainer and non-sustainer groups. To achieve this goal, we selected 85 representative IT and non-IT companies from the S&P 500 companies and investigated them with respect to the change in their five-year competitive status since the 2008 global financial crisis. As a concrete performance measure, the concept of perceived competitive status (PCS) was introduced, and four distinct PCS categories were identified by using the stock price changes during the selected period. The four distinct PCS categories are "sustaining," "drifting," "deep sunken," and "bouncing back." Discriminant analysis was performed on these four distinct PCS categories. The empirical study conducted showed that revenue and cost efficiency are the most discriminating factors, especially in the economic recovery period. In particular, stronger financial liquidity was observed in high-performing "bouncing back" companies than in the other category companies.

This paper analyzes the religious circuit of suicidal concept based on verbal expression and ritual acts, which are found in the suicide discourse of Korean Catholic Church and Protestant Church. In the relationship of suicide and religion, it is easily overlooked the religious circuit and its construction that forms the concept of suicide among the religious laymen. It is assumed that the belief system of traditional religions prohibits suicide and the laymen accordingly construct a perception or concept of suicide along with this belief system. Various studies on this subject have proved it. However, in order to understand the religious way of constructing the concept of suicide on a personal level, it is necessary to pay attention to the religious environment in which the concepts and emotions of suicide circulate. The laymen do not passively and perfectly accept the finely established suicide concept provided by the doctrine or the theology. Rather, the laymen tend to collect the pieces of concept over the suicide that are drifting in the religious environment of his/her daily routine life and to make an concept of suicide in an incomplete form. We can find the unstable and imperfect traits of such a suicide concept through the experience of suicide survivors who have a religious background. For the suicide survivors with religious beliefs, they resist the formal doctrinal and theological provisions to suicide, or try to understand the notion of suicide in their own contexts. In terms of linguistic expressions and ritual acts relating to suicide, the attentions are differently directed in the public and the private domain among the religious groups. Considering on the high rates of suicide in Korean society, the Korean Catholic Churches are increasingly tolerant over the suicide and accept it in the public sphere. It is unlikely when comparing to the negative attitudes of the suicide in the past. However, such tolerance does not go beyond the doctrinal and ethical judgment that defines suicide as a serious sin. The once-committed lay believer's speech and gestures usually contain the various emotions, such as sadness, grief, anxiety, regretfulness, eagerness, and pain in the private spheres. The language and gestures with these emotions have been activated in the religious circuits of suicide, being extended to the religious apparatus for the person who died of suicide. In case of Protestantism, the institutional organizations, such as the particular denominations and the individual-churchism of the Korean Protestant Churches, and their own interpretations of the Bible have in the private sphere strongly effected on the linguistic expressions and the rituals related to the suicide. The religious-ethical judgment of the suicide is varied how the suicide is interpreted by the theologians and the pastors. And the ritual acts for healing the complex feelings and the psychological wounds of the suicide survivors are not actively explored and adopted yet. It makes harder to approach and heal the protestant followers since they emphasize the innermost belief and the salvation assurance faith.

Recently, as sea ice in the Arctic has been decreasing due to global warming, it has become easier to develop oil and gas resources buried in the Arctic region. As a result, Russia, the United States, and other Arctic coastal states are increasingly interested in the development of oil and gas resources, and the demand for offshore structures to support Arctic sea resources development is expected to significantly increase. Since offshore structures operating in Arctic regions need to secure safety against various drifting ice conditions, the concept of an ice-strengthened design is introduced here, with a priority on calculation of ice load. Although research on the estimation of ice load has been carried out all over the world, most ice-load studies have been limited to estimating the ice load of the icebreaker in a non-oblique state. Meanwhile, in the case of Arctic offshore structures, although it is also necessary to estimate the ice load according to oblique angles, the overall research on this topic is insufficient. In this paper, we suggest algorithms for calculating the ice load of managed ice (pack ice, 100% concentration) in an oblique state, and discuss validity. The effect of oblique angle according to estimated ice load with various oblique angles was also analyzed, along with the impact of ship speed and ice thickness on ice load.

The remark by Andy Clark that the cleverer our world is, the more difficult we perceive our world and ourselves, is very significant to us living in digital world. As the huge power of Technology are dominating the world, the people are drifting with their body fragmented in diverse kinds of chaos, being are faced with the situation that they should reorganize themselves about personal life and ways of thinking in a new technological environment. This paper approach some characteristics of contemporary society through 'Cyborg' which is the product of limitless human desire and technology. The characteristics in modern times, such as boundary disjoint, hybridity, transformation, fusion, communication with image, digital sensitivity, womanness correspond to those of the Cyborg. This paper also investigates the history of modern Cyborg through animation, one of the remarkable medium in digital age and analyze the cyber punk animation, and by Oshii Mamoru, which provoked the extension of the concept of Cyborg. This paper will give a moment to diagnose what this age is like and to present a reference line of our contemporaries exposed to the surplus images and technology.

The frequency and abundance of jellyfish, presumably related with climate change, fisheries overexploitation, marine pollution including land reclamation and dyke construction, are increasing worldwide. This feature has attracted interest and concerns from general public and public officials, and government is seeking how the damages could be prevented or reduced down. Korean government, having recent huge blooms of jellyfish, engaged in reducing and/or countermeasuring jellyfish damages. Korean research themes include ecology and physiology of blooming jellyfish species, understanding of the blooming mechanism, and focus on the eradication of blooming jellyfish, without governmental integrative management plan. EU is undertaking scientific projects focused on understanding of the mechanism and control of jellyfish blooms, and establishment of an integrative management. In USA, government has established the code on jellyfish management for conserving and protecting the fish and shellfish resources and one of its department is specially assigned to monitor jellyfish appearance, undertake research, and prepare management plan. Japan also assigned a department and research institute for jellyfish research. Their main interest is to predict jellyfish drifting and mass bloom. Compared to Korea, USA, EU and Japan emphasize integrative management that includes ecological understanding, public education and outreaches, communication and control, if possible, of jellyfish blooms, based on scientific data. We suggest then, 1) establishment of an integrative scientific system consisting of policy and scientific experts to prepare inter-ministrial integrative management plan to effectively combat jellyfish blooms and to maximize the scientific result; 2) concept change from harmful to exploitable marine animal in policy making and research; and 3) active education and information service for people. We expect that these suggestions can be useful for jellyfish management and policy making on another harmful marine organisms.
