  • The information system of corporations are facing a new environment expressed by miniaturization, decentralization and Open System. It is therefore of utmost importance for corporations to adapt flexibly th such new environment by providing for corresponding changes to their existing information systems. The objectives of this study are to identify this new environment faced by today′s information system and develop effective methods for data resource management under this new environment. In this study, it is assumed that the new environment faced by information systems can be specified as Distributed Computing Environment, and in order to achieve such system, presents Client/server architecture as its representative computing structure, This study defines Client/server architecture as a computing architecture which specialize the fuctionality of the client system and the server system in order to have an application distribute and perform cooperative processing at the best platform. Furthermore, from among the five structures utilized in Client/server architecture for distribution and cooperative processing of application between server and client this study presents two different data management methods under the Client/server environment; one is "Remote Data Management Method" which uses file server or database server and. the other is "Distributed Data Management Method" using distributed database management system. The result of this study leads to the conclusion that in the client/server environment although distributed application is assumed, the data could become centralized (in the case of file server or database server) or decentralized (in the case of distributed database system) and the data management method through a distributed database system where complete responsibility and powers with respect to control of data used by the user are given not only is it more adaptable to modern flexible corporate environment, but in terms of system operation, it presents a more efficient data management alternative compared to existing data management methods in terms of cutting costs.

  • IoT devices that collect information for end users and provide various services like giving traffic or weather information to them that are located everywhere aim to raise quality of life. Currently, the number of devices has dramatically increased so that there are many companies and laboratories for developing various IoT devices in the world. However, research about IoT computing such as connecting IoT devices or management is at an early stage. A server node that manages lots of IoT device in IoT computing environment is certainly needed. But, it is difficult to manage lots of devices efficiently. However, anyone cannot surly know about how many servers are needed or where they are located in the environment. In this paper, we suggest a method that is a way to dynamic clustering IoT computing environment by logical distance among devices. With our proposed method, we can ensure to manage the quality in large-scale IoT environment efficiently.

  • Recently The social interest regarding is coming to be high about Home Network accordong to intelligence anger of diffusions and the family home appliance machineries and tools of the superhigh speed Internet In the ubiquitous computing socioty, only neither the threat of the private life which is caused by in cyber attack will be able to increase according to the computer environment dependence degree of the individual increases in the ubiquitous computing socioty, only neither the threat of the private life which is caused by in cyber attack will be able to increase according to the computer environment dependence degree of the individual increases Beacaues of Home network is starting point to go ubiquitous computing enviorment, The Increase of Cyber attack through Internet will raise its head with the obstacle to disrupt the activation of the groove network. So there is a possibility of saying that the counter-measure preparation is urgent, In the various environment like this, It means the threat which present time than is complicated will exist. So it will analyze the Home network system environment of present time and observe the Security threat and attack type in the ubiquitous computing enviorment. • The opening of ubiquitous computing era prompted rapid increase in information transfer between human and computer. Such changes in computing environment requires new computing interface. In this paper, we develop a user interface prototype and framework using Avatar in Ubiquitous computing environment, which can support an active communication between human and computer based on context information. To develop the new interface, its conceptual framework with specific context information is designed in advance. In addition, this study suggests the future goal of user interface using Avatar by suggesting the requirements of constructed prototype.

  • Recently, Confidential computing plays an important role in next-generation cloud technology along with the development of trusted execution environments(TEEs), as it guarantees the trustworthiness of applications despite of untrusted nature of the cloud. Both academia and industry have actively proposed commercialized confidential computing solutions based on Intel SGX technology. However, the lack of clear criteria makes developers difficult to select a proper confidential computing framework among the possible options when implementing TEE-based cloud applications. In this paper, we derive baseline metrics that help to clarify the pros and cons of each framework through in-depth comparative analysis against existing confidential computing frameworks. Based on the comparison, we propose criteria to application developers for effectively selecting an appropriate confidential computing framework according to the design purpose of TEE-based applications.

  • Grid computing is an expanded technology of distributed computing technology to use low-cost and high-performance computing power in various fields. Although the purpose of Grid computing focuses on large-scale resource sharing, innovative applications, and in some case, high-performance orientation, it has been used as conventional distributed computing environment like clustered computer until now because Grid middleware does not have common sharable information system. In order to use Grid computing environment efficiently which consists of various Grid middlewares, it is necessary to have application-independent information system which can share information description and services, and expand them easily. Thus, in this paper, we propose a semantic information system framework based on web services and ontology for Grid computing environment, called WebSIS. It makes application and middleware developer easy to build sharable and extensible information system which is easy to share information description and can provide ontology based platform-independent information services. We present efficient ontology based information system architecture through WebSIS. Discovering appropriate resource for task execution on Grid needs more high-level information processing because Grid computing environment is more complex than other traditional distributed computing environments and has various considerations which are needed for Grid task execution. Thus, we design and implement resource information system and services by using WebSIS which enables high-level information processing by ontology reasoning and semantic-matching, for automation of task execution on Grid.

  • Privacy preservation is crucial in ubiquitous computing environment in which lots of privacy- sensitive information can be collected and distributed without appropriate control. The anonymity-based approach is a famous one used for privacy preservation communication, which allows users to use pseudonyms instead of real ID so as not to reveal their identities. This approach is effective in that it can hide the identity of users. However, it makes it difficult to provide ID-based services like buddy service, dangerous area alert, P2P communication in the ubiquitous computing. We proposes a system architecture which enables ID-based services in the ubiquitous computing environment employing anonymity - based privacy - preserving approach.
