Most advanced countries in GIS field have established and managed georeferenced socioeconomic data systematically and made a great profit on various social and economic areas. In Korea, however, socioeconomic geographical information is relatively poor compared to systems related to geographical and topographical features. This is mainly due to the characteristics of the process from the construction to the utilization of socioeconomic data. That is, from the stage of data construction, socioeconomic data require solutions for frequent changes compared to data on geographical and topographical features and, because of difficulties in marking the positions of individual entities, information is built up through setting appropriate spatial units of aggregation. In the stage of data utilization, the data often need to be combined with other types of socioeconomic data due to the complexity of socioeconomic phenomena. Thus, the this study examined usability of GIS in socioeconomic fields and the spatial dimension of socioeconomic information through representative cases of GIS in developed countries and, based on the results, derived data requirements for socioeconomic GIS found in the construction and utilization of data and proposed solutions for the requirements.

The authors developed a comfortable program for routine work of surgical pathology. We used IBM PC(80386) and Foxbase plus program. The main function of this program was automatic coding and concurrent surgical report printing. During gross printing, previous biopsy number and its diagnosis were automatically searched and printed below gross description. The reported datas were stored during surgical report printing simultaneously, and thus the typist's workload became considerably reduced. Search for specific cases could be performed by patient's name, surgical number, hospital number, diagnostic code numbers(SNOMED code microglossary), and certain disease entities on very short duration.

In the Recent rapidly changing technology environment the computerization of administration business which is driven or will be driven to give improved information services to people by local government or central government with a huge budget. The possibility of applying GIS application component to the computerization of administration business is investigated to prevent local government from investing redundant money and to reuse the existing investment at this point of time. Land civil service application component was developed at the $\ulcorner Development of Open GIS Component S/W \lrcorner$ project which was managed by Ministry of Information and Communication . GIS application component was based on Open GIS OLE/COM specification for development of standard interface and USD(Unified System Development ) for development method and UML (Unified Modeling Language) for system design and Visual C++ for component implementation. Implemented components were Process Control, Map, Print, Statistics component and were verified by using Visual Basic and Delhi. tis study shows that the development of component is very useful at the GIS application development for local governments. But the standard of business and data and system is the essential prerequisite to maximize business application.

The purpose of this research is to investigate a way to increase interoperability between information systems. We proposed a technical reference model (TRM) and a standard profile (SP) that are components of ITA as tools to secure information system interoperability. First, we composed TRM by choosing technology field that need standardization for information system interoperability. And, we choose standards to apply in each technology field of TRM as a interoperability common SP.

It is an important to notice that the the importance of the medical recording department in hospital will be increased in the future. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the organization of space and to seize the computerization of medical record system in hospital. For these purposes, the operation of medical recording department and the delivery of the patieent's medical recard paper were investigated.

General technique and management technology of agriculture have development in every year to ensure the competitiveness of agriculture. Accordingly, Interested in using information systems management technology is improving. For information system, the first system of rural buildings category should be established. Classification system is set up through each specific code. and it takes advantage of the information system is to achieve the computerization of agricultural society. Therefore, in this study construction information classification system, quantity of output category, got to the standard classification system architecture, apply to agricultural buildings to review the situation and saw a problem. The result, it is the complexity and broad scope, and it is set to inappropriate setting of the Category item.

In university of Korea, the computerization of facility management is lower level than other management areas such as educational matters, administration, library, computing center, teaching assistance, and teaching methodology. So we need urgently the blueprint for an information-oriented and integrated facility management system. In this research, It is presented and implemented an FMS(Facility Management System) for efficient management of the ground and underground facilities on a campus. This studies is computerized the drawings, protocols, and ledgers. It is used a GIS(Geographic Information System) to get the geographical information of facilities. The data more efficiently could be search and update on this system. The decision making process understanding the present facility condition, and analyzing the condition of location could be performed easily by the GUI(Graphic User Interface) of the system.

The safety of staff customers and of general Public in general viewed as one of the most important requirements in the urban transit. The maintenance CALS system for car of urban transit is a part of standardization and development of urban transit system, and We have been performed the establishment of maintenance CALS system from 2001 to 2005. The RAMS for management computerization system are utilized in a variety of CALS system for user's convenience and safety in maintenance. Ever since its inception though, the urban transit has searched for ways to improve reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the railway subsystem. In this paper, This system include RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) of the vehicles shall be enhanced in the future.
